I really liked my stay at Florence Rental. My place was right in front of Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi. I woke up to the bell ringing from Vecchio. It was worth the money and will definitely return again.
There is nothing negative I can think of. Perhaps internet connection?
The location of the apartment is perfect for a visit to Florence. It's a 2 minutes' walk to Uffizi Gallery and Palazzo Vecchio. The best gelato and sandwich shops in Florence are on the same street. All the historic sites are within walking distance to the apartment. Mario, the owner is friendly and helpful. The apartment is comfortable to live in and has a good working air-conditioner which was important in summer. The apartment also has double glazed windows to cut out street noise.
Value and location were outstanding. We had five residents; two bathrooms, a kitchen with a dishwasher and even though we were only about a block and a half from Palazzo Vecchio, prices were not like they are at the tourist traps. We had both the best lunch and the best gelatto in the city (arguably) less than 50 meters from our door! The clothes washer was a great addition, since we'd been traveling for a week by the time we arrived. Our host was helpful and congenial when we met him and the one time we called for help. @We used some of the fresh basil from the garden for one of the inexpensive and delicious meals we prepared for ourselves. Hotels are for suckers or rich folks!
Showers are unbelievably cramped (as is the case everywhere we stayed in Italy, so it really doesn't count) and and electric power is iffy. It was very hot while we were in Firenze and running all of the airconditioners caused the breaker to trip twice, plunging us into darkness. Easily remedied, though. Air conditioner in master bedroom was not working well.
The location is absolutely perfect. The number 1 and 2 of tripadvisor restaurants are in the very same street. 100 meters from Uffizi and Piazza Signoria where you can find music and entertainment in the evenings.
Mr. Mario was very helpful and gentile! The location is great!! And the room is very comfortable!
There was no room service to clean the bathroom or the bedroom, but for me it was no big deal.. Everything was great!
Mario and Maria made my daughter and I feel like family. The apartment was exactly the type of accomodations we were looking for - a real Florence apartment, with character, history and spectacular location! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who is either returning to Florence or going for the first time - it was wonderful!
There was nothing I didn't like about Via de Neri 18
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. We loved the little balcony off the kitchen to enjoy breakfast in the morning. Nice neighborhood, warm and friendly staff member met us and gave us a tour as well as tips about getting around Rome.
The wifi was sketchy. It was a bit of a problem, but would not keep me from renting the apartment. Wifi was best in the living room.
Liked the apartment.
Great location, Quiet and close to most places of interest. Owners were very nice. Equipped kitchen.
Bed gallery was not very convenient, coming down the steep stairs to the toilet at night feel a bit dangerous.
The location is very good, just steps away from the main attractions and walking distance from SMN Station. Mario was very friendly and gave us good recommendations on where to eat and go around.
The appartment is much better than you see in pictures. I have been staying many times in hotels of Florence, but this is much better option! Appartment is equiped with all the necesary things. Clean, comfortable, with really beautiful terrace! I would absolutely suggest this appartment!
This apartment is charming and is located in the perfect spot to explore all of Florence. A historical building with excellent facilities. The host is very friendlx and gave usefull tips on seeing Florence.
These are real apartments with kitchen , washing machine, sofa, etc., nice location, but better don't take big lugguage, as most apartments do not have elevator...hotel owner is a gentleman who is very helpful and patient, want to know more about Firenze? Just ask him! Anyway, I stayed 3 nights there, experience is great, I'll be back someday!
Great location. Mario and Maria are very nice and helpful
The owner is very friendly and helpful. Then the apartment is very lovely and its very suitable for honeymoon couple. Also it is located in a peaceful area and main attractons or restaurants are all within walking distance.
No lift. It will be a bit troublesome for travellers with big luggage since the stairs are steep.
The location is really in the center.
It's not as clean as I thought...and the bed was not comfortable.
We like everything! The owner was helpful even if we arrived at the middle of the night. Flat was very tidy and included everything we needed. It was quiet and airy though no windows - or because of that! Like to visit again!
Please inform what complete means! No need of towels or plugs for electric equipments. We had also iron! Introduction for gas would be helpful beacuse in many countries is already not known.
Location perfect, host Mario was great! Very kind and understanding. Property is spacious. And security was good. Balcony was lovely. Cosy kitchen too!
No carpets, so the place is a bit cold. There were not enough waste bins, water pressure in shower can be improved. Some items needed maintenance.
The apartment is very tidy with its own little kitchenette and washing machine the only drawback for us was the loft bed but this was overcome by using the very comfortable sofa bed. A lovely appartment close to all attractions EXCELLENT and the owner and staff are great as well!
Great location 2 minutes walking to the ufizzi. The owner is very nice. The apartment is not quite as the photos say, but if it’s only to sleep, the price/quality is great. There is a very good restaurant crossing the street.
The street had a lot of bars and restaurants so it was very noisy at night.
The location is great - actually you live in the center of the old city. The apartment is nice and clean and you have everything you need. Mario - the owner - will advise you what to see and will try to help you if you have a problem or request. It was a pleasure for us to stay in IL LOGGIATO at Via dei Neri.
Mr. Mario and signora Maria are super-nice people. The appartment is beautiful and cosy. The location is perfect, in the middle of the old center of Florence.
There is no elevator.
Amazing location, right behind the uffitzi gallery. Plenty going on in the street, excellent sandwich shop opposite and plenty of decent bars/places to eat nearby.
No outdoor space in apartment and could get a little claustrophobic, no cooker but you didn't really need it. No good if you are not good with stairs! A definate no no if your not a fan of steep climbs.
The location is perfect - very close to everything and you feel like part of the life of the city. Our hosts were kind and very helpful and the apartment was graceful, clean, comfortable with everything we needed for a great stay.
Nothing - it was great for us! Probably worth noting that despite excellent double glazing in the apartment's windows, light sleepers might find the bustling night life of Via Dei Neri a bit of a challenge.
Really nice location, very close to the center of the city, just a hundred meters from the Piazza Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio. Very qutie during the night.
Could be better if the room is better ventilated, there is a window but a bit small.
