Hotel Giada offers a relaxing atmosphere in the heart of Rome, within easy reach of Termini Train Station and of the the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore.

On the right bank of Rome's Tiber River, Hotel Sant'Angelo is in a historic building, just half a mile from the Spanish Steps. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with private bathrooms.
Score from 1763 reviews Very good
Hotel Fiorenza is just 200 metres from Termini Train Station. It offers a friendly service and rooms on the second floor with an LCD TV, private bathroom and double glazed windows.
Score from 582 reviews Good
The Yellow Hotel is 100 metres from Castro Pretorio Metro Station on line B, and a 5-minute walk from Roma Termini Train Station. It offers modern en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi, and a cosy lounge.
Score from 378 reviews Very good
The location was a big plus for us. Literally, only five minutes walk from the Basilica and the Vatican. The price was very reasonable for the location and the quality of the room.
The Wi-Fi signal was poor and the shower leaked slightly. The area had lots of nice restaurants but very few pubs or bars.
Hotel Florida is on an exciting busy street with fab shopping, and dining right out the door. High security. They have a lovely fresh breakfast for 5 EU. The staff are excellent. Everything is spotless.
While sufficient, and met our needs fine. If internet is very important to you, do not expect the wifi to be strong, for downloading or gaming. Beds are a bit hard.
Nice hotel with an elavator. Room is spacious but without any decoration. Near by Vatican city, and from there easy cross over to the centre and numerous restaurants.
The hotel is 5-10 mins from the subway and therefore it is also possible to walk to the centre as the subway has no stops in the centre. So easier to walk there.
The location is convenient, the rooms are clean.
The wifi does not work in the rooms. You have to get buzzed in every time you enter the hotel.
Good coffee and yogurt and good cleaning service
Tv didn't work, had to pay for wifi then it didn't work, the bed was two single stuck together and pillows were flat and uncomfortable. We were told there was water to purchase but when we went to they didn't have any. Was good hotel but overpriced and minor changes could be made
The location was nice in that it was away from the old central section but close to a metro station and within walking distance to the Vatican. The staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful. We figured out how to get the TV to provide the audio in English, so although we didn't watch much it was nice to know we could have.
There were two gates to pass through to enter and one night we waited several minutes for someone to answer our call and unlock the gates.
Good location and good value breakfast (5 euro buffet), quiet and clean inside.
Wifi only available in corridors, non smoking room when we asked for smoking, difficult to find at first as hotel is within a shared building off the main road. Toilet seat in room was broken.
Good location Beds were comfortable and shower was hot (although small) Room had air conditioning Restaurants/coffee shop nearby; area seemed safe Hotel seemed secure Extra luggage was stored with no charge Staff was courteous
There were steps to get into the hotel and there was no staff available to help with getting baggage into the hotel. Room for 3 people was very tight. Although there was staff in the hotel, the doors to the reception area were locked at night. I wondered what would happen in case of fire.
AC was good Everything in the room was well serviced and working. Close walk to shops and to the Vatican. Good food in the area away from tourist heavy spots. very helpful staff and explained everything. We didn't eat the breakfast but it looked good.
No Wifi available on 3rd floor where we were but it worked great in the common areas. Only wifi available on 1st and 2nd floor in the rooms so be sure to get one of those if WiFi is a must.
Hotel is very close to Vatican. Very nice to stay here if you go there or in the new Rome fan park. Personal extremely helpful, even we already left hotel air company delivered our lost laggage to the hotel, personal kept it before we would be able to collect it.
location, clean, value, friendly staff
noise from dripping ac from above floor on our ac, adjacent room bathroom separate with no wall insulation so constant noise
The location is exceptional; The staff is most helpful; The hotel is well kept & clean; and Good value accomodation
Located in a very busy street with lot's of places nearby and very safe. Very close to the Vatican and 15 min walk from the center of rome. Also very clean and the staff was very friendly.
Nothing in particular, but if i have to recomment something it would be to refresh the paint of the rooms. There were some marks from the luggages of previous travels but no dirt or anything that would make you unconfortable.
vary friendly staff
wifi just in common areas
The staff was very helpful and incredibly nice.
No internet in the room unless you paid more. The hotel is not very nice for the price you pay for a two star.
Overall not a bad hotel with great location and acceptable rooms (for a 2 star hotel), but in our view way overpriced. The personnel was very helpful. The bathroom was new and clean.
Rooms are small and very basic with old funiture. There was no proper upper bedsheet, which makes it impossible to avoid touching the blanket at night. The floor and the night tables were not washed every day during our stay. The door/walls are very thin and we could hear all the noise from the neighboring rooms and the breakfast hall. This was not a big problem for us as we woke up very early, but would have been difficult to sleep past 7-8am. The breakfast was cheap (5 Euro p.p), but the selection is very limited.
Friendly hotel staff Location, close to Vatican Quit rooms
Breakfast very poor, not included in the room rate Difficult to find the hotel, when entering the gate
Very good location and very convenient
Breakfast could be more rich, if Wifi covers all the area would be perfect
Location is great; Rooms are clean and comfortable; Staff is very helpful
Building was lovely. In an old atrium style building, but with very clean, modern rooms. Location was very convenient. It was not more than a 15-30 min walk from all sites & the buses & metro you need to get everywhere are within a 2-10 min walk. Plenty of convenient shops (supermarkets, pharmacies, etc) & places to eat. Very close to the Vatican & St Peters square. I actually preferred staying here than staying right in the heart of the historical area, as you are close enough, but not swamped by tourists on your door step. The best thing about this place is the staff. Very helpful, warm, knowledgeable & friendly. The second best is that the rooms (although not huge) are very clean & modern. In that sense, good value for money.
The walls in our room were in desperate need of a simple coat of paint. It really detracts from the otherwise lovely, modern rooms. Unfortunately, one of the simplest requirements of a hotel were not met during our stay- the ability to sleep. Our room was literally in reception. We could hear every single sound from the reception desk which moves upstairs in the early morning hours. It was like every conversation occurring was being had right next to our bed. For this reason, we were unable to sleep past around 6am. If you have come home at 1am the night before from late dinner & drinks, this really ruins your ability to enjoy the next day of sightseeing as we only had 5 hours sleep. The property should either keep the reception downstairs in the breakfast room so that the upstairs guests can enjoy a small holiday sleep-in or they should set the expectation that some rooms are going to be very noisy from 6am. If you can be guaranteed a room that is not right on the reception area, I would HIGHLY recommend you stay at Hotel Florida.
Michael and his brother at reception were brilliant. We cant praise them enough. We arrived after midnight but Michael spent a good half hour giving us information and advice on how to best enjoy our short four day stay in Rome. Very friendly, polite and knowledgable. I work in the tourist industry in Cyprus and I could tell his friendliness was genuine. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and toiletries replaced daily. Walking distance to the Vatican and maximum 15 minutes on the metro to the Colosseum. The area near the Florida Hotel - Prati - was clean and safe to walk around in the evening. As in most big cities around the world there were homeless and beggars that we saw on a few occasions but they were not troublesome. Overall a wonderful experience and would definately stay at the Florida again when we return to Rome.
We are very pleased with our stay. Location is great, especially if you like shopping, everything important is on walking distance. Superior room is very nice and stylish, 32" LCD TV, nice bathroom. Staff is more than great, thank you!
Small things, no WiFi in the rooms, it's generally a residential building so you have to leave your key every time you call the reception when you go back, maybe they have their reasons, water heater is quite loud during the night.
The location is absolutely great and convenient. It's about 10 minutes of walk from Piazza del Popolo to the left, and Vatican to the right. Every day we've walked by St Angelo's bridge and the castle while returning from the center, and enjoyed beautiful sceneries. The Ottaviano metro station is quite near, as well as the shuttle bus station to the Fiumicino airport. There are lots of brand (and not) stores and cafes in the area, a supermarket - 5 min from the hotel at the same street. The area looked safe, we had no problems walking late. The personnel of the hotel was helpful and friendly. Of other pluses, very comfortable beds, our backs say thanks :). The wi-fi is high speed, but not in the rooms, just at the lobby. The room had windows to the internal yard, there was no street noise.
We stayed in a triple room, that perhaps had originally been designed for the 2 and an extra bed had taken all the free space in the room. It was ok considering we were away most of the time. The bathroom was small - ok, but it had no hooks for towels and shelves for bath supplies. This small centy thing brought out big inconveniences while using the bathroom. Also, the inner sound isolation was poor. We had to knock the wall to make our neighbours talk not so loud when they arrived in the middle of the night. To be fair this happened just once but was quite unexpected and unpleasant.
