location was good

the hotel had a 'tired' feel ti it. It is, in my opinion in need of refurbishment

The location is good.

Except location there is nothing good about this hotel...It is too expensive against the facilities provided and the room is fairly clean but rest is below par ...room is too small..beds are too small..mosquitoes can't allow you to sleep.There no lift in the hotel so if you are goign with heavy bags than be ready to lift your luggage.There is nothing good about this hotel except that it is very near to st. Lucia train station.

The greasy smell of the room was awful..to the point of making us feel sick.

Location is very close to train central station. I come with luggage and a baby, reaching the hotel without problem. we were walk there, i think its only 100 m from station.

Refer to other hotel and situation in venice...no complain for this hotel.

It was a very basic hotel with an excellent location and I booked it based on the reviews and the fact that it was one of the least expensive hotels near the rail station and also conveniently located to the bus station in order to arrive at the airport the next morning. I liked the feature that guests were able to use the internet free for 30 minutes which was very handy for checking our flight information. Claudia was very helpful and polite with excellent English.

I thought 120 Euro ( almost $180) was quite expensive for such a basic facility, but I think that is just what one must pay in Venice.

This hotel is in a great location.....steps from the train station, restaurants, and transportation around Venice.

Bathroom could have used a deep cleaning, bed/pillows were uncomfortable (although I requested 2 additional pilows which helped a bit).

Location is perfect. Room is very comfortable, kind and helpful staff.

Hotel florida was a good hotel for budget travellers. Situated so close to teh station it is great if you have heavy bags to lug about. also, very close to the water taxis, so easy transport to the main parts of the island, although many cute restaurants right outside anyway.

Location was the best thing - convenient for the grand canal and only a few minutes walk from the train station and bus station.

Small cramped room. Inadequate storage, small bathroom with no hot water. Breakfast poor. Security was an issue because guests were required to leave keys at reception, but on several occasions we were able to walk into reception and had to wait a long time for anyone to come. We could have helped ourselves to any room key or a selection of passports.

It's very close to the st.lucia train station, just 2 blocks away. The staff are nice and the room is spacious. Even we booked a double room with share bathroom, basically, the bathroom is only for us coz every room in our floor has its own bathroom inside.

no elevator in the hotel, you have to carry baggage by yourself, not good for those with heavy luggage.

Very convenient location. Just steps away from the train station yet you can't see nor hear the station from hotel - that's good. Staff nice not overly friendly but willing to help and answer questions.

A bit pricey for what you get. Breakfast not special - mostly just cereal and pre-packaged toast type foods.

The room was comfortable and the a/c and complimentary breakfast was a plus. It is a pretty good value considering the expensive nature of Venice accommodations. I got a rate of about $100 usd per night which was pretty cheap compared to a lot of other comparable hotels I found in Venice. Also, the hotel is located only a few meters from the St. Lucia train station, so the walk was not bad at all. The drawback to the location is that it is a fairly long walk (about 30 mins) to the major sites in Venice like San Marco square and Rialto bridge. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling on a budget.
