Hotel Florida  

Great location, near canal, water taxis, train station, lots of places to eat and shop; yet, it is in a quiet location when you want to sleep. Breakfast was fine. Free wifi in room.

No hairdryer in room. When we returned after a day out we found were low on toilet tissue, the cleaner didn't leave us a new roll; and reception didn't have any roll to give us so needed to take some tissues from the WC upstairs. However, for a 2 star hotel, I thought, generally, it was fine.

The location was excellent--NEAR the train station. The air conditioning worked well. I'd enjoy staying here again. It was a good value for the price.

The breakfast wasn't great, but this hotel is near many alternative places to eat.

Very mediocre accommodations, but location and price is good. Right next to the train station but a bit far from city center. However, boat taxi is close.

The hotel is in a great location right next to Saint Lucia train station. This is good if you don't feel like hauling your luggage all over Venice to get to your hotel. There are several water taxis right by the hotel, which makes it easy to hop on one and go to wherever you want to go next.

The room was quite hot despite the air conditioner in the room and the room itself was a bit dilapidated. However if you don't plan on spending much time in the room and want a convienient hotel on a budget then the hotel is not too bad.

The location is very near from the rail station. The stuff is very helpful.English speaking.

I dont like the widow. It is blocked, totally can't see outside. The breakfast started at 8am. However, most of hotel serve the breakfast at 7am, Is good for travelling in early time.

We travelled by train. The location was next to the St Lucia train station which was great. You can walk easily from hotel to St Marco Sq. There is free wifi in the room. The staff were the most friendly of the hotels we stayed in Italy. Breakfast was average. My only discomfort was maybe the bed, which was a little small and sunken. Overall the hotel(listed as 2 star) was great.

The hotel is perfectly located, it is clean and very cosy, we had spent several days there and all the staff were friendly. We liked it a lot and will go there again if we visit Venice for the 2nd time. I reccommend it!

Excellent location with less than 5 min walk to s Lucia Train Station. Several restaurants and retail shops located within 500m proximity.

The hotel was in a excellent location, however, it's very noisy from the hustling n bustling of people, restaurants etc directly below the rooms. Hardly had a good rest till almost 12am every night.

In its 2-star category, it's a great hotel. The location is fantastic, close to the bus terminus, railway station and city transport and the staff were very nice. They have a set of guidebooks you can check as, according to the lady at reception, they "want people to love Venice, not just take photos of St. Marks". Our room was biggish (again, given the city and the category). If you're on a budget, there's a good "tavola calda" called Brek around the corner for great value meals.

As this is 2-star, the furniture is basic, although the bed was comfortable. Bread at breakfast was dry, but this is true in most Italian hotels for some reason.

The location is excellent. When we arrived in Venise, it was cold, windy and it was really interesting to be from the railway station just a few meters away at the hotel. The room we had was quite nice and it is a good rapport qualité/prix and the other advantageto be near all the vaporeto stops..

Great location with 2 min walking to Santa Luzia station. Liner clean, security box. Help to send my lost credit card to my next destination. Friendly staff.

The stair is sharp to carry loggage.

Very Close 2 the St.Lucia Station... 2 minutes walk... Friendly n helpful hotel staff... B/fast was Italian, same served in all hotels..!!! Good experience.. Evn tho 120 EUR/per night, it was gud enough 2 stay for a single night as there is nothin much 2 do in Venice... Clean rooms..!!! Free wi-fi tht had a good signal in our room...!!
