Less than half a mile from Rome’s Trevi Fountain, Relais De L'Opera is a renovated 19th-century building with free Wi-Fi throughout and rooms with flat-screen satellite TVs.
Score from 493 reviews Wonderful
In a 19th-century building, the Quirinale is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. This historic hotel is connected to Rome Opera House through a passageway in its leafy courtyard.
Score from 3616 reviews Very good
Located in a classic 19th-century building, Hotel Aberdeen is just 220 yards from Repubblica Metro Station. Rooms are air conditioned and have satellite TV and a minibar.
Score from 553 reviews Very good
Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Ideal location - close to Termini station and center of city. Breakfast quite good, a big choice of bakeries. Whole day free coffee (good quality from machine) and juices. Despite of some reviews mentioning that not so easy to find the hotel we didn't face any difficulties - just you have to put more attentions to the signs!
Unfortunately, there are few other hotels within same building which are quite old and significantly bad quality (even smelling like...), but Floris is completely separated from its.
very quiet very good staff good size room and central to everything
no signage to say that the hotel is even there we got a taxi and the driver new where it was otherwise it would have been difficult
Comfy beds..wifi available..shower..safe available..water supplied..coffee during the day...excellent breakfast
Hard to find initially. Had to ask cabbie to phone to find where hotel was. A bit noisy in early morning via the breakfast but only some rooms
air con. daily room service, towels, etc. fridge, breakfast, very good. free drinks from machine all day,and sometimes, cake. staff very friendly no outside noise. security, check in desk manned 24/7
NO english telivision.!!! lift could be a problem if people didn't close the doors. had problem with safe the day before we were due to leave, would not open, It was 8hrs before anyone came out!. 1 day lost. Glad it wasn't the day we were leaving.
Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff.
Access not wonderful.....very old lift.
Tea, coffee, soft drinks available all the time at no charge. Great breakfast Comfortable clean room and bathroom. Good showers Great location close to transport links and in a safe area with good amenities close by, such as supermarkets, restaurants, shops and bars.
The noise from the hotel on the floor above was very bad we had to sleep with ear plugs. There was constant banging. You could hear people clomping about above you at all hours of the day and night. We thought it was a knocking shop!!
i liked the location of the hotel - a walking distance from the metro and main train station. The room was nice and modern, the WiFi is good and so it the breakfast.
It is on the 4th floor of a building that doesn't look like a hotel. There is barely a sign of the hotel. Never take a room close to the kitchen, it will be very noisy.
Fantastic location, great breakfast (especially the cannoli), free bottled water, juice and coffee. Room was comfortable and clean and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Will definitely go back to this hotel.
Very smart hotel which is located in the middle of town near the Termini for the trains and busses. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing.
It would not be great for disabled visitors as the lift is very small and is frequently out of use because other visitors leave the doors open! The hotel needs a better sign outside.
Hotel is on the 4th floor and it is a small elevator
Good rooms, clean, wifi worked well, good location and great breakfast, nice staff.
The hotel staff was very nice.
To get into this specific hotel you enter a building, go up a half flight of steps and then get in an elevator...a very small elevator, to go up a few floors to the Floris. The rooms are very minimalistic and modern which is good if you like that. I thought they were laid out quite oddly though. The breakfast served is very good but the room it is served in is very tiny and uncomfortable. I wouldn't stay there again.
Location is convenient Rooms are decent and clean Nice, quick wifi
Price(but hey! this is Rome, so just live with it) Super small bed Room 425 is exactly next to b-fast hall... it can get noisy
It is hard to find, if you stand on the street you see other hotel signs on the building but not teh one you are looking for. Never mind, just go in and got to the fourth floor, then everything is all right.
Location was good. Staff helpfull
Unfortunately every morning we were woken by. 6am to the constant noise of the dishwasher being filled and emptied and crockery being stacked. Constant noise through to 9. - 9.30 so never got to sleep in. Our room was not the closest to the breakfast room so no doubt would have effected people in rooms that were nearer.
They have a very small breakfast room but the breakfast was quite nice (especially the desserts). Wifi was working well, no loss of connections unlike many other hotels. Location is very convenient, 2 min. walk to Piazza Repubblica where you can take the metro red line. Also walking distance to Roma Termini. Actually we even walked to Colloseum. Bathroom was small but shower was very nice.
There were some black marks/stains on the bed sheets. They looked clean but that was still somehow irritating. It is hard to notice the Floris Hotel sign on the building.
The hotel is very clean. The location is perfect. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is the best that I've ever seen in such type of hotel.
Clean, polite, excellent wifi
I like the location, it was close to Termini station maybe you and take 15-20 minute from the hotel to termini station
Have to check the bill before you pay because the staff was overcharged me.
Very good location, walking distance to Termini. Modern quite soundprouff rooms, good beds. Free tea/coffe is avaible all day.
Clean, very close to metro, helpful staff, good breakfast options, excellent location with great variety of shops nearby
A slight smell of sewage in the room, but I would guess it's in all of the hotels (ie. normal) because we smelt it in other places.
Location Free communal access to coffee and juice and free inroom water refreshed daily Huge shower though water temperature an issue
Tiny room No toiletries eg tissues, bottled shampoo and body wash Egg omelette for breakfast is microwaved and horrible - too sweets focused 4 flights of stairs to hotel with large suitcase quite a difficult task with no concierge service Really noisy because all rooms are on one floor
The hotel was the best looking in the building, very modern with good breakfast facilities. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Wifi is free and we got very good signal while in the hotel. Free tea, coffee and orange juice is available in the hotel and the choice of food at breakfast is the best I've had the three time I've been to Rome.Hotel was easy to find, the location was good, a minute away from a taxi rank and within walking distance of all sights if you don't mind walking.
Breakfast excellent. Tea/coffee available all day. Good beds and reliable wifi
