Hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast was nice and location was very good for seeing Siena. The bus to Siena comes often but the Gate is a little far to walk, more of a hike. There is free parking near the gate but limited spots. |

Exactly what we were looking for...a real Tuscan Farmhouse, completely remodeled and upgraded. Quiet country views, great garden tables, helpful staff and breakfast included. A highlight three days of our two week stay in Italy. |

I could not fault the hotel. The rooms were excellent, the staff were friendly and location for Siena ideal. I would recommend the hotel to anyone wishing to visit Siena. There was nothing to dislike about the hotel. |

The Manageress was extremely helpful, very pleasant and spoke good English, giving us telephone directions and useful information about the area. Our room was very good, comfortable and clean. Sat in garden for nice buffet breakfast. We were very happy with our choice. |

Hotel management was very nice and helpful. Gabriella, the owner, dropped as at Siena in her personal car. Charges of telephone call to Milan were too much. |

Staff were very friendly and accomodating. We had to leave before breakfast on the last day of our stay so they left some pastries and access to beverages for us. Everything was great except for the pullout sofa used as a bed for our daughter. The mattress was very hard. |

it's close to the city, has free parking, nice staff, good breakfast -they didn't changed our towels during 4-day stay; - they have small breakfast room with 4 tables and guests have to chose hours for breakfast day before. This would not be a problem if all people sticked to their chosen times, but it happend twice during our 4day stay that all the tables were occupied and we had to wait. This gets annoying if you have plans for a day. |

great staff. very very nice and very helpful. on-site parking saved us 24euros a night vs every other hotel we stayed at in Italy. not as far in the countryside or as Villa-like as we expected. New construction right on a road 1.5km from southern most gate to Siena. Convient location offset by some traffic noise. |

The staff were very very friendly and welcoming and could not have been more helpful. The location was good - close to the city of siena but in the countryside, and a regular bus service goes from outside. Alternatively, walking in or out of the city takes only about 25 minutes through very pretty countryside. |

Very charming place with very friendly hosts. Gabrielle and the whole family do really care about the guest. 5 Minutes by bus or a 20 minutes walk into Siena is very convenient. I would certainly come back to this place. |

Gabriella and her staff were very friendly and accommodating; she helped us with transportation and reservations for things we wanted to do; breakfast was very good; good location close to the center of Siena and also close to major roads. The walk to Siena centro is a little longer than advertised, and can be dangerous at night. |

The staff were very helpful and suggested some lovely reasonably priced restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble. Although not in the city centre, there was a very convenient bus which stopped almost outside, to and from the Centre. Too far to walk, and expensive to park the car in the city. |

Very friendly and helpful staff and a great location just outside Siena and close to the highway. The hotel is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. From the hotel it is easy to reach the city by car or bus. The hotel has a private parking space for hotel guests. |

I caught a cold during my stay and the personnel was very helpful in any way. Besides the hotel is a beautifully restructured house, just outside the walls of Siena, and close to the main road, with ample parking facility. Perfect for visiting the countryside. |

Very friendly, helpful staff. Convenient parking. Simple but adequate breakfast. Cheap fixtures and fittings in the new building may not last long. We had difficulty with the heater, and the handle fell off the bathroom door. However, both issues were quickly resolved. |

Hotel Staff and particularly the receptionist lady (probably the hotel owner) was very helpful and kind. The proximity to the center is very good. Good and free of charge car parking. Very clean rooms. Very good and various breakfast. Will stay again. We experienced problems to get connected to internet by wi-fi from the room. However, wi-fi was okay from the breakfast saloon. They should consider this. |

The two young girls running the B&B were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was excellent (which is a treat in Italy)! A bit too far out of town and uphill all the way. There is a nearby bus stop but the busses are not frequent, especially during the weekend. |
