Hotel Italia is a charming 20-minute walk from Siena's Piazza del Campo. In summer, enjoy free access to a nearby swimming pool and tennis court.

The area great and people wonderful.
Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Free parking was a bonus.
We had trouble locating the property, and found it too far to walk into the centre of the city, despite the property description saying that it was within walking distance. Saying that however, buses were convenient.
We enjoyed our stay this time at Fonte Dei Tufi just as we did 4 years ago. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. Gabriella and the others are always helpful and friendly.
The rooms and facilites were fine.
It is a bit far out of town. You must either drive in or take the bus.
Exceptionally helpful staff, who made phone calls on our behalf free of charge, and who never stopped smiling. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable room. Lovely setting, with its own garden and the hills beyond. Approaching idyllic.
A bit of a trek from the bus stop and too steep a walk to get into the centre. But that's just a quibble. A very pleasdant two nights.
Clean, tidy, good breakfast.
Nothing serious... about 1.5km from Siena walls. Bus 50 metres away... runs every 15 mins... but finishes at 9pm... so if you're having a typical Siena dinner with alcohol, you'll have to walk... (all downhill)... or nominate a driver.
Nice building, big room, attention to detail from the staff.
Breakfast was pretty uneventful, but the worst was the location. The pictures online are a little deceiving, it was way too close to the loud highway.
Friendly staff and location to Siena old town
I liked everything, room was clean and spacious, breakfast great and you can have it in the green grassy yard of a beautiful Tuscan house. There is really nothing to dislike. But if you would prefer to stay in the heart of Siena because of the city vibe this is definitely not place for that, as it is totally out of the city, feels more like being in the rural surroundings. But bonus of that is no problem with parking and peace. From here you drive 1.5km to the parking on the edge of the old town and from there there is another kilometre on foot to Piazza del Campo. Or you can take a taxi from here to the very centre cause they are allowed to get all the way to the square. All in all great place to stay.
Nothing to dislike
The setting was superb. So close to the old town of Sienna. Our hostess Rosella was absolutely charming in making us welcome and giving us advice. Very clean and comfortable room and the bathroom included a proper shower. A most generous breakfast was enjoyed.
Nice continental breakfast enjoyed in the garden. Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious room with mini bar/fridge. Complimentary toiletries. On the bus route...
the last bus back was 8.20 pm although the B and B is a walkable distance back all downhill.
Easy to find and good parking. We took the bus into Siena which is easy. Breakfast good and garden nice. AC worked and good fridge.
Room was a bit gloomy but small issue. Not a good road to walk if you chose to. Only restaurants are in town but there are a lot!
The location was just far enough away from the city to enjoy the view but close enough to walk if you want to. The owners are so friendly and helpful, nothing is a hassle. It was a fantastic place to stay!
Sometimes the road can be noisy taking away from the tranquility of the surroundings.
Excellent B&B. Very nice and friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Location is not in the city center but it is 50 meters from a bust station that takes directly into the old town.
The staff here were lovely. They were very helpful and spoke English. The rooms are great, spacious and very clean, you can eat breakfast in a lovely garden. Very good value, I would recommend this highly
The road from the b&b into Siena is very narrow and a bit difficult to walk with all the traffic, but there is shuttle bus service.
One of the best places we have stayed during our Europe trip. The room is big, extremely neat. Staff are the most courteous and helpful people who have given us many tips regarding our stay in Siena. I cant find a fault with this place. The place is about 1.5km from Siena's historic centre which is ideal walking distance. (However be aware that there is no clear walking track for about 500m, you will have to share the road with motorists- 50kmph zone). We had a very relaxed stay at this place.
Nice welcome from the personnel Nice place Very good cappuccinos for breakfast Free parking very close to the main entrance Simple solutions (bus) to access historic centre of Siena
Close from an important road, therefore some noisy if windows opened
Ideal for easy access to central Siena, 2 minutes from bus stop and then a 2km ride into town. Euro 1.20 per trip.
I loved staying at the Fonte Dei Tufi Bed & Breakfast. The staff were very friendly, its right outside of the city and quiet. Perfect to get away relax and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic with so many options to chose from. It was the best breakfast i had on my 5 week holiday.
Excellent breakfast, nice place outside to eat it. Walking distance to center of Siena. Free parking. Quiet, comfortable bed.
Very nice place, helpfull stuff, good breakfast. Clean room with nice view. B&B is little bit outside the city so each time you want to go there you need to take a bus (goes every 15min) and in 5min you in city center. Direct connection to train station as well. Stronlgy recommend.
Very, very pleasant staff. I needed a cab after the bus into town had stopped running for the evening (it's right down the block which is great) and Gabrielle, very nice, called me a cab even after she left the desk for the day. Breakfast was great (confused by some of the reviews on here, it's not a Hilton) - cereals, fruits, yogurts, hard boiled eggs, croissants. Ate in the lovely garden out back. For the money, can't beat it. Would return in a heartbeat.
A bit far from town, but bus stop is literally 100m away, and cab into town cost only about 8 euro. Not a deal breaker.
It's a very nice, quiet and clean location with a great breakfast. The "family-women" are helpful and very friendly, they speak italian, english & german! From the "hotel" you walk only 3 minutes to the bus station, we needed no car for coming into the center of Siena. The bus leaves all 15minutes (in & out). The kids loved to play in the garden and we have enjoyed to take our breakfast there. Thank you!
The very very friendly stuff!!
