lovely location, very nice staff. bed very comfortable, bathroom clean, modern. nothing extra.
would have preferred better breakfast and a public "lounge area." Rooms are spartan which is okay, but there is no other place to rest.
The location is excellent , toilet is good, room size is ok.
Sheets we're clean but there was smell, maybe from atmospher.
Loft style room was nice for us with our 2 daughters room was clean breakfast was fine location was ok walk to St Marc Sq grand canal n water taxi stop right over the bridge. Pack light there is some walking involved n crossing of bridges. Hint on arrival use a private taxi to get to your hotel with the luggage after that the regular water taxi is fine.
Poor directions at the central station as we came in to Venice to help us fine the right taxi to take we did not speak Italian so it was hard. The hotel was a little tough to find the entrance but once we did it was easy.
I stayed in a room with a single bed. The furnishings were sparse, almost like a dorm room. There was a small desk, a bedside table, and a closet. But overall, it was pretty clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast was included- simple but adequate. Brioche, coffee, yogurt. The hotel is not too far from the water bus drop off (Accademia) and was easy to find.
I wish there had been a place to open up my suitcase. There were two women in the room next to me and they came back late every night. I could hear their conversations- almost like they were in the room with me! I wish the noise level was lower. Venice is expensive, so this was probably an average price for the value, but it seemed expensive for what it is.
A staff member was very helpful and kind while others were curt and not responsive to our needs.
Lack of signage for the hotel. We would never have initially found the hotel on our own. There was a musty smell in the room.
Warm, homely feeling. Nice window view on top floor. Elevator makes moving bags convenient.
The staff were all very friendly and the room was spacious and clean.
It was a bit difficult to find. They could use a bigger address sign on the door.
Quiet and spacious with a good location
A little hard to find
Location is great. Only minutes from water bus stop. Only minutes form restaurants etc.
No refrigerator or glasses. Being a insulin dependant diabetic I had to leave my insulin is the kitchen refrigerator.
Superb location, lovely staff, very clean, suited my need as a base for my holiday.
The walls were very thin, I could hear the people in the adjoining room quite clearly.
Fantastic location very warm and helpful staff.
Great location by Accademia Bridge (which made transportation with our suitcases from the vaporetto stop to the hotel pretty easy). It is within a 10 minute walk to all of the main sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggesting different kinds of restaurants that are less known to tourists. The room was clean/big enough for the 4 people in our family and served the purpose of showering and sleeping since we weren't in the room at all. We would definitely stay here again!
The only down side was that it was quite expensive for a 3 night stay. It was probably twice as expensive then all of the other hotels we stayed in during our 12 day vacation in 4 countries.
Location Staff Breakfast Large Room
Convenient location, good value for money, clean and friendly staff.
Proximity to everything. Easy walk
The bridge across from ferry stop trying to get luggage with wheels over it
Hotel has really good location, close to Piazza San Marco.
Breakfast was poor.
The staff was very helpful, breakfast was good, and loved the exposed beams in the room. Our room overlooked a beautiful courtyard.
The bathroom needed updating.
Free wifi. Great location. Clean rooms. Nice courtyard. Friendly staff. Held out luggage before and after stay.
Basic breakfast. Hard to find hotel at first (need better description). TV only informercials.
You get what you pay for.
Great location, just steps from the Ponte del Academia, friendly staff happy for us to leave bags prior to check in and after checkout and answer all the random questions we had. The room was simple, stylish accomodation - nothing fancy, but good, clean and in a beautiful building.
Door to hotel could have clearer sign.
No hot water in the evening, no warm water in the morning.
The way from water bus stop to hotel which must go through Accademia bridge which is difficult when you have big luggage
Good hotel once you get there.... The hotel is pretty, the breakfast area and the breakfasts are both good. Good coffee, clean. But it took us a lot to figure out how to get there
The name is not very known so not many people can give you instructions to get there. The whole city is a laberint of alleys and small streets, but this location is particularly hidden. Is not that close to plaza San Marcos as they say it is, and from the closest water transport station to get there, you have to pass a million stairs bridge... With your lugagge
very accomodating staff, roomy, quiet,
pricey, but everthing is in Venice.
Water taxi can pull up to the hotel; easy walking to good restaurants close by.
Can hear the noise from the room next door
