Hotel Fortuna  

The Fortuna is right opposite the Ancona railway station. The city bus terminal is just out of the station, so connections to the city is very convenient and well priced (€8 for the day). The hotel very clean and the rooms are comfortable with nice bathroom. Breakfast is adequate and plentiful.

One person at reception is a little unfriendly, but the rest are very helpful.

I liked the hotel because it was within my budget and close to the railway station. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

The fact that booking.com is unable to predict the price. When I am searching on booking.com for a hotel and say that I want have the price with breakfast, it shold not end up on the last page with "breakfast not included" in small letters. Actually I should not have to think about that.

Across street from train and bus stations and 3k to cruise port. Location allows bus or walk to historic sights. Breakfast had many choices in pleasant room. Free internet. Price was very reasonable.

Fair price for services, personnel was kind and helpful. Not very close to the centre (20-25 min walk or bus), but right opposite the railway station. Room was quiet and clean.

Far from the city center. If you have a room outing on the street, there is a big noise.

Quiet, warm, comfortable and friendly. Good breakfast buffet. Parking outside the door - vouchers at €1.20/day from reception (don't pay €1.20/hour at the meter!) Right opposite railway station.

Longish 20 minute walk from city centre. Lack of appealing nearby restaurants.

We are so happy that we stayed at there...Next time we will stay at there again.

Clean and good for budget.

It was so convenient, just across the street form the train station, and easy to get the bus into the historical area of Ancona. Our room was very clean and larger than in many hotels we have stayed in in Europe. There was plenty of room to put luggage out of the way, and also good reading lights by the beds. The breakfast was excellent, with ham and cheese for protein along with a good variety of pastries, cereals and fresh fruit. Our room was ready when we arrived about 11 a.m. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were all very cordial.

I loved everything about Hotel Fortuna at Ancona. Hotel staff was so kind and ready to offer assistance any time. Room was very very clean and bathroom was at my maximum satisfaction. Good size, clean. Internet wifi was also fast, and most importantly it is located right outside of the Ancona rail station. As soon as you come out from the rail station gate you see it right out. It is close to the ferry port, there is bus stop right in front, bus number, 12 or 20, in addition to that city centre is about 20-30minutes walking distance. Although I stayed for just one night, hotel staff was nice enough to keep my luggage next day until 5pm. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Fortuna.

Bathroom, curtain didn't completely surround the shower so water went all over the bathroom. Shower head was not very good either. Otherwise the room/ensuite was fine

Its location directly opposite the Ancona railway station and handy to the ferry to Split was ideal for our purpose.

Neither particularly good, not bad - this hotel is just ok. Given limited accomodation offer in Ancona it can be recommended.

Chose This hotel because it is close to the station and the bus that takes you to the ferry. The hotel is reasonably priced and we only needed somewhere to stay for the night. Fortuna was fine for what we needed.
