Hotel Fortuna enjoys great bus links to the ferry port and the town centre. The staff can provide tourist and travel info. Wi-Fi is also available in the lobby with bar. Location near the train station. Far from the city center. If you have a room outing on the street, there is a big noise.

Quiet, warm, comfortable and friendly. Good breakfast buffet. Parking outside the door - vouchers at €1.20/day from reception (don't pay €1.20/hour at the meter!) Right opposite railway station. Longish 20 minute walk from city centre. Lack of appealing nearby restaurants.

It was so convenient, just across the street form the train station, and easy to get the bus into the historical area of Ancona. Our room was very clean and larger than in many hotels we have stayed in in Europe. There was plenty of room to put luggage out of the way, and also good reading lights by the beds. The breakfast was excellent, with ham and cheese for protein along with a good variety of pastries, cereals and fresh fruit. Our room was ready when we arrived about 11 a.m. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were all very cordial.

I loved everything about Hotel Fortuna at Ancona. Hotel staff was so kind and ready to offer assistance any time. Room was very very clean and bathroom was at my maximum satisfaction. Good size, clean. Internet wifi was also fast, and most importantly it is located right outside of the Ancona rail station. As soon as you come out from the rail station gate you see it right out. It is close to the ferry port, there is bus stop right in front, bus number, 12 or 20, in addition to that city centre is about 20-30minutes walking distance. Although I stayed for just one night, hotel staff was nice enough to keep my luggage next day until 5pm. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Fortuna. nothing. Everything was perfect

Convenient to train station I booked here partially because they advertise free wifi. It is not available in the rooms, only downstairs.

Fairly quiet, clean, good beds/sheets Bathroom, curtain didn't completely surround the shower so water went all over the bathroom. Shower head was not very good either. Otherwise the room/ensuite was fine

Its location directly opposite the Ancona railway station and handy to the ferry to Split was ideal for our purpose. Outdated furnishings and carpet, but adequate for a one-night stay. Not handy to restaurants.

Chose This hotel because it is close to the station and the bus that takes you to the ferry. The hotel is reasonably priced and we only needed somewhere to stay for the night. Fortuna was fine for what we needed.

The staff were very welcoming and allowed us a 24hour parking pass for under 2 euros. The room was basic but very clean. Staff were always on hand to look after belongings in safe always friendly. Breakfast was continental style but excellent with a great variety of breads, pastries savoury to chose from,replenished regularly. This was just an overnite stop on way to villa holiday. Would highly recommend it.

I chose this hotel because it is across the street from the station. Also convenient is the Europcar office where I returned a car. So, it was a pleasant stay with helpful staff.
