Classy and excellent hotel.Lovely view at the bar and restaurant on the rooftop.Easy walk to Campo de Fiore and Trastavere. Staff exceptional.
friendly staff, nice welcome, excellent breakfast.
There is a noisy road in front of the Hotel. No shaving mirror. Mattress of mediocre quality.
The location was superb. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was reasonably comfortable. It was cleaned well every day.
The wi-fi was slow, but it was adequate for email. VOIP connections were a problem as the calls dropped frequently.
We stayed six nights and give Hotel 47 the highest marks in every category. The staff made us feel at home.
There was nothing negative.
Great location, free and fast wifi, spacious rooms, and very friendly staff
Location was good and the room was a good size. Breakfast staff were lovely and very helpful.
Our air conditioning didn't work on our first night... (very hot) Asked the reception at 11pm to have someone come and check it. She told us to open the window....(we didn't) Next day spoke to another reception staff member and was told that the window had been opened and that is why the aircon didn't work in the first place. We didn't touch the window!! She accused us of lying and said the other staff member didn't tell us to open the window....we requested a reduction on our bill as we didn't get any sleep as it was stifling. She said she wouldn't as she supported what the other staff member had said...she gave us a $50 voucher to be redeemed for when we stayed there the next time....we won't be. This is the second time we have stayed at Hotel 47 and we also recommended it to our son and daughter in law to stay there for their honeymoon...I thought we would have been looked after a lot better. I can assure you we wont be staying there again and will tell other people as well.
The most helpful and likeable hotel staff that we've ever encountered. Attractive hotel layout that's very different from chain hotels with a dash of quirkiness that's very endearing. Very comfortable and well-appointed rooms. Appealing breakfast and breakfast area. Quality restaurant on the top floor with great views. Shower facilities associated with the fitness area downstairs that the staff made available to us many hours after we checked out, before we left late for our flight home.
Nothing worth mentioning.
Hotel Fortyseven is in a great location in Roma. An easy walk to all the sites. The staff is wonderful. Very helpful in giving directions and setting up dinner reservations. The hotel it's self has a lovely roof top dining room with beautiful views of the city. The hotel is across the street from two of the most ancient temples in Roma and down the street from the Jewish Ghetto. The rooms are a nice size. The beds are very comfortable with nice pillows. The bath is large and the shower luxurious. I highly recommend this hotel. Easy for taxis to pick up and drop off with luggage.
The road that the hotel is on has lots of traffic. We were on the first floor with a view of the ancient temples. Great view but we could hear the traffic. They do have metal shades that you can put down at night to block the noise. This was a small issue compared to everything good about this hotel.
The room was light and spacious. The bed was comfortable with good quality linens. The a/c was working well, which was essential as it was very hot in Rome while we were there. We were very pleased with the complimentary breakfast.
I was a little disappointed with the rooftop restaurant. You could see rooftops beyond the hotel, but the view was not as spectacular as I expected. Also, we ate lunch there on a hot day. It's open air so it was quite warm.
The room is clean, well faciliated and quiet.the staff is helpfull
the hotel reception is poor, the breakfast is less than expected.
We liked a lot the location, the staff and the restaurant at the roof has an amazing view and service....really good!!
Just good things!!!
The staff were very helpful. I would not have been able to get around rome without their help.
Helpfulness of staff Breakfast included Circus Restaurant Comfort of bed
Lack of restaurants nearby
Contemporary design, comfortable beds, quiet rooms and very good breakfast.
Staff was friendly but not well informed about some of our inquiries . Cannot rely on staff for restaurant recommendations or directions.
Honeymoon treat. Complimentary bottle of prosecco.
Smell from drains. Wifi strength poor at times. Towels a bit shabby.
All the staff were very professional and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Told us all about the transport links and how best to see the sites of Rome. The location for us was perfect, being close to some excellent restaurants and Metro. Also within easy walking distance of the main sites within the city. Would we book with this hotel again, YES.
Only thing that was disappointing for most guests, was the lack of a good and fast toaster during breakfast! A more modern item needs to be purchased!!
Great location with wonderful roof top restaurant. Unfortunately the staff at the restaurant are awful and most of the hotel staff , outside of the maintenance which are wonderful, are I knowledgable .
The proximity of the hotel to many touristic sites and metro station. The circus resturant at the roof was phenomenal
The wifi signal was weak at one time. However the reception staff managed to fix it
Nice breakfast with good coffee, and a comfortable bed. The location is really unbeatable if you're interested in the Forum, Palatine, Campidoglio, etc. - they're all within a few minutes' walk. And the Bocca della Verita is literally 3 minutes' walk away. The views from the hotel are great, and Trastevere is just 5 minutes' walk away across the bridge. Staff helpful and courteous.
The location and the quality of the hotel were paramount in our experience. Loved that the breakfast was included and it ws substantial. Loved the roof top deck for either a cold beer after a long day or for dinner in the evening. The value was excellent.
Location. Blackout blinds on the windows.
Boutique hotel makes me think ... bespoke, customer-focused (a glass of sparkling wine during check-in) ... unfortunately this was not our experience. Over-priced drinks. Damage seemingly left unrepaired in both the room and common areas (hand-rail leading up the staircase to the rooftop terrace).
Good location, great food, lovely rooftop restaurant
A lot of noise in the morning and at night from the water supply, downstairs bar never open
They had a hard time finding a second luggage stand for our room. However, the bell man tried for some time to locate one and he did. Some of the desk staff were sweet, one of the women seemed to be concerned about giving us two keys as well as a second tourist map. (Just a sheet of paper with their location in the center).
Our trip consisted of hotels from Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome and Capri and back to Rome again. (Various price ranges). All, except one, were free breakfasts. This hotel had the least to offer; nothing special as others were. Had to request towels and toilet tissue.
One of the greatest views in all Rome, right at major Roman ruins.
Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. A bottle of Sparkling Wine was waiting for us when we arrived. We had a perfect room with an awesome balcony. We walked to everything in Rome. Location was perfect for all of our needs.
Up front communication was hard. I did not get any responses from my earlier emails. That changed though and all was perfect
