Great dinner on roof terrace
Rooms were clean upscale modern; the included breakfast buffet was delicious and varied; the rooftop bar and restaurant had fabulous views; the hotel location was walking distance to Forum and other sites and restaurants; just a short taxi ride to the Termini.
Our stay here for 2days was our honeymoon and they gave us a bottle of wine- we were impressed on their kindness! All staffs' service were nice as well. :)
The hotel has no big sign in front of the building so it was a bit hard to find it. A bit far from stations.
The staff was very attentive and accommodating. We stayed here before moving back to the US after living in Rome for a year. Location close to Trastevere, Piazza Venezia, Teatro Marcello, Circo Massimo, Palantine Hill, the Colosseum, and the Mouth of Truth was perfect. Would definitely come back to stay here when we visit Rome again!
Great location for public transport and coliseum and most ruins, not that far from Vatican city. Breakfast is very good.
A bit pricy, expensive laundry service and the wifi dropped out now and then.
More or less in the center. Very clean. Very polite staff. All places within waliking distance.
Road noise. Had a front room so there was road noise, this did not really bother us but would have been nicer to have a room at the rear but remember, you are in the city center so cant really avoid it in any hotel.
Good roof-top restaurant with views. Nicely finished rooms. Helpful and friendly staff with recommendations and surprise birthday cake.
Great restaurant at The top 6th Flood! Eccellente breakfast.
The staff were courteous and the room and services were top notch.
Location was solid, hotel in good condition, and breakfast was OK although more whole fruit and home-made (as opposed to store bought feeling) pastries would be desirable
Pillows, not being able to control the aircon (it was hot), and the value-for-money (room was comfortable and fine, but for 300 Euro expected perhaps a slightly larger room.
Wi fi in room was weak
Location was perfect, just down the street from the Forum and Coliseum. Staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good.
Bed was hard and sheets were a little rough.
Location, price, comfort, excellent views from my room. Decent breakfast included. Great ambience.
Not much to complain about.
Classy and excellent hotel.Lovely view at the bar and restaurant on the rooftop.Easy walk to Campo de Fiore and Trastavere. Staff exceptional.
friendly staff, nice welcome, excellent breakfast.
There is a noisy road in front of the Hotel. No shaving mirror. Mattress of mediocre quality.
The location was superb. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was reasonably comfortable. It was cleaned well every day.
The wi-fi was slow, but it was adequate for email. VOIP connections were a problem as the calls dropped frequently.
We stayed six nights and give Hotel 47 the highest marks in every category. The staff made us feel at home.
There was nothing negative.
Great location, free and fast wifi, spacious rooms, and very friendly staff
Location was good and the room was a good size. Breakfast staff were lovely and very helpful.
Our air conditioning didn't work on our first night... (very hot) Asked the reception at 11pm to have someone come and check it. She told us to open the window....(we didn't) Next day spoke to another reception staff member and was told that the window had been opened and that is why the aircon didn't work in the first place. We didn't touch the window!! She accused us of lying and said the other staff member didn't tell us to open the window....we requested a reduction on our bill as we didn't get any sleep as it was stifling. She said she wouldn't as she supported what the other staff member had said...she gave us a $50 voucher to be redeemed for when we stayed there the next time....we won't be. This is the second time we have stayed at Hotel 47 and we also recommended it to our son and daughter in law to stay there for their honeymoon...I thought we would have been looked after a lot better. I can assure you we wont be staying there again and will tell other people as well.
The most helpful and likeable hotel staff that we've ever encountered. Attractive hotel layout that's very different from chain hotels with a dash of quirkiness that's very endearing. Very comfortable and well-appointed rooms. Appealing breakfast and breakfast area. Quality restaurant on the top floor with great views. Shower facilities associated with the fitness area downstairs that the staff made available to us many hours after we checked out, before we left late for our flight home.
Nothing worth mentioning.
Hotel Fortyseven is in a great location in Roma. An easy walk to all the sites. The staff is wonderful. Very helpful in giving directions and setting up dinner reservations. The hotel it's self has a lovely roof top dining room with beautiful views of the city. The hotel is across the street from two of the most ancient temples in Roma and down the street from the Jewish Ghetto. The rooms are a nice size. The beds are very comfortable with nice pillows. The bath is large and the shower luxurious. I highly recommend this hotel. Easy for taxis to pick up and drop off with luggage.
The road that the hotel is on has lots of traffic. We were on the first floor with a view of the ancient temples. Great view but we could hear the traffic. They do have metal shades that you can put down at night to block the noise. This was a small issue compared to everything good about this hotel.
The room was light and spacious. The bed was comfortable with good quality linens. The a/c was working well, which was essential as it was very hot in Rome while we were there. We were very pleased with the complimentary breakfast.
I was a little disappointed with the rooftop restaurant. You could see rooftops beyond the hotel, but the view was not as spectacular as I expected. Also, we ate lunch there on a hot day. It's open air so it was quite warm.
The room is clean, well faciliated and quiet.the staff is helpfull
the hotel reception is poor, the breakfast is less than expected.
We liked a lot the location, the staff and the restaurant at the roof has an amazing view and service....really good!!
Just good things!!!
