good location and friendly staff poor tv reception and very small tv screen, sub standard breakfast (no hot food, no meat or eggs provided was mostly breads and cakes). similar hotel in Venice had much better facilities, breakfast etc, and was much less expensive. |

Excellent position overlooking the forum and 150 metres from Colosseum. Most other historical sites within walking distance.Lovely restaurant and terrace bar at the top of hotel overlooking the forum and colosseum.Good range of breakfast food, though the same each day.Reception and all staff very helpful and pleasant. We were presented with champagne on my wifes "special birthday".How lovely was that. Double rooms are on the small side, but we moved to a superior room which was big enough.Pillows hard! |

The location's perfect, the lobby's fancy. Some good restaurants around as well as pubs to watch football nearby. Very nice breakfast (given the European continental standards) with a gorgeous view from the terrace restaurant. Rooms are rather small given the price, which should also include the Internet. The terrace restaurant turns into a too pretentious and not as easily eccessible place in the evening - even as the hotel guests we were not let in for just a glass of port wine ("only for dinner"). |

The Hotel has a truly fabulous location, a stone's throw from the Forum, with fantastic views from the roof terrace, where one is treated to an ample and varied buffet breakfast. The hotel is also remarkably quiet, with good sound insulation when windows are closed (Important if you want to sleep soundly at night in Rome. it is tastefully decorated with rather small but comfortable lounge areas ( which we prefer) rather than the usual glitzy places found in 4 star hotels. Not so much a dislike as surprise at the very high prices charged in the restaurant, which meant we had all our meals (other than breakfast which was included in the price) outside the hotel.. This is unlikely to have been only our view (or due to the exchange rate) as the restaurant appeared to have hardly any clients other than on special occasions such as weddings. |

Great location, helpful staff and good value for money Rooms slightly tired; beds could be upgraded - but this is a typical issue for most hotels in Rome within this price segment |

The hotel staff provided a wonderful experience especially for non Italian speaking tourists who were looking for a chance to visit old Rome. Both the location and their expertise made our visit really memorable. Our every need, especially directions was attended to. |

Nice beautiful hotel with friendly and helping personnel. Nice view from the restaurant, close location to the sights. It would be better to change the pillows to soft ones and change aircondition - some were very noisy. The room I was offered on the day of arrival was tiny what I could hardly expect from the 4star hotel, next day I was given the room I liked and expected to get for the amount I paid. |

My wife and I enjoyed the location of the hotel near many of the monuments, antiquities, and plazas of Rome. The air conditioning in the room was very inadequate which made it uncomfortable during our stay in mid-August. |

Great location, rooftop restaurant is fantastic, value for money, very helpful staff On our first night, we got a room that was hot (it was summer) and the aircon was not working well. Next day, they transferred us to another room which worked out well for the rest of our stay. |

No location says Rome like this. Hotel Kolbe overlooks the Roman Forum at the foot of Palatine Hill. The Coliseum and Circus Maximus are just around the corner. |
Just a 5-minute walk from the Roman Forum and the Coliseum, Hotel Duca D’Alba is located in the popular district of Monti, surrounded by typical wine bars and restaurants. |
Hotel Twentyone is a modern boutique hotel set on one of Romes best shopping streets. Castel SantAngelo and the historic centre are just a pleasant 10-minute walk away. |
Boasting a wonderful location 5 minutes on foot from the Coliseum and the Roman Forum, Grand Hotel Palatino is your choice for an elegant stay in Rome. |
