Just a 5-minute walk from the Colosseum and 325 ft from Cavour Metro, Grand Hotel Palatino is in Rome's Monti District. It has a bar and 2 restaurants. Wi-Fi is free throughout.

In the heart of Rome, Argentina Residenza Style Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the Pantheon and Piazza Navona square.
Score from 167 reviews Wonderful
The view from the restaurant is nice, you can see the forum and Altare di Patria.
WiFi is completely worthless. Breakfast is overpriced (18 euros, very small selection and only fair quality). Rooms are overpriced purely based on the location. Hotels 100m further down the street are much cheaper and more modern.
Location was excellent. Walking distance to Forum and Colosseum. Good restaurants close by. Excellent hotel restaurant with awesome views. Restaurant staff outstanding.
Room was small, dark, cold and in need of cosmetic repairs. Bathroom was small and shower\tub area very cramped.
Location, staff and terrace bar
we had a family room 413. The second bed was a sofa bed. It was very uncomfortable and noisy. For the price of the room this was below the standard we were expecting.
The staff of the hotel is very professional and efficient. The Concierge Dario was particularly attentive to our queries and comments. The Roman atmosphere and interior decoration of the hotel could not be more appropriate. The cleanliness of the hotel including the room is impeccable. The "Forum Store" shop which is close to the hotel is the ideal place to purchase ladies wear, bags and shoes, made in Italy, at a reasonable price. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Colosseum and metro station. Thank you for contributing to make our stay memorable.
The wi-fi was slow in the room. There was no kettle in the room.
Location Hotel aesthetics Great jet spa bath in family room
Terrible service Miserable staff ruined our stay No hotel information booklet Only one useable lift/ elevator No information regarding lunch buffet times Room service did not appear to be available at all during our stay Mini bar options very small
Location and it's Italian old style ambiance
The restaurant was over priced for food offered
the location was perfect the staff always helpful. Marco was unbelievable he was helpful from the time we arrived until we left.
The location - 3 minute walk to the Coloseum and directly on the Rome Forum ruins. The best part of the hotel was the rooftop bar, which gave amazing views over the old city as the sunset. we didn't eat at the hotel as we were on a 2 night stay so we choose to eat out.
The reception staff were not very friendly but everyone else in the hotel was fine.
Perfect location for exploring Rome Friendly, helpful, multi-lingual staff Large family room with two bathrooms was perfect for a family of 4 Beautiful furniture and decor in the room and the rest of the hotel Views from the restaurant and bar
Wifi reception weak in some parts of the room Breakfast expensive (if not included in room price) View from our room was over a small courtyard
Staff were great, location terrific and food was excellent - would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone.
location, cleaness,staff, big family room
very poor breakfast, poor wifi, from room very bad view
Lovely comfy bed quiet location but central great food
Stylish and comfortable. Restaurant great. Very hosipitable. Barman upstairs a little 'gruffy'. I arrived with a large group so he shpuld have been delighted!. I triedt to move chairs to accomodate group and barman not pleased with me.
Location was perfect. After check-out the front desk staff was very kind and helped me arrange a taxi and let me use an adapter.
the blow dryer did not work. The internet connection was very poor and the hotel room was very small.
Arrogant staff Petty cheapness like half a toilet roll per day per room and one shampoo for 2 people Need binoculars to see the tiny TV Wifi doesn't work in the rooms, unlike what the website says
An excellent situation in the centre of Ancient Rome Comfortable room with a great view
Excessive cost of breakfast Welcome drink only available for half an hour when bar was overcrowded. Barman reused to provide at any other time Concierge staff frequently promised to help with requests but did not deliver. Far too expensive for the service provided
Location ambiance staff cleanliness all great
Wifi was way too slow,a/cond didn't work and beds a little hard
Roof terrace. Comfortable beds. Welcome drink on roof terrace. Location was amazing. Helpful staff.
Location, quietness and confort. Pianist in restaurant
No swimming pool or other fitness área Restaurant too expensive for everyday use.
Location and helpful staff
Weak wifi, moldy shower, high cost
Went to the roof for a drink. Sat there for about 20 minutes without being acknowledged. Started to drizzle and were told they were going to close the bar and we should go downstairs to the bar. Well, there was no one down there and when someone finally showed up, we were ignored until I went to the bar and asked for a drink. The older gentleman at the front desk needs a brush up course on welcoming guests.
Roof top bar Staff Location Breakfast
Location was excellent. Close to metro and easy walking distance to sites. Rooms and hotel were clean.
I didn't find the staff overly friendly. The restaurant staff in particular seemed disorganised. Everyday at breakfast has to ask for items like croissants and oranges as the bowls were empty. Tables were not set, had to ask for coffee etc. Rooms were quite small. Compared to a 4 star hotel we had stayed in earlier in the week this was not as good. During our stay they had an evening rehearsal of a parade with bands and loudspeaker from 2.30am-4.30am right outside the hotel, we were not told about this. Also the main road outside the hotel was lined with tiered stands for the parade for the few days we were there, somewhat obstructing the forum views we had booked the hotel for!
Location just remarkable, directly in the historical downtown! Breakfasts on the top floor overlooking the Forum and the warm atmosphere there it is a highlight, I recommend to everybody very much! Very lovely to drink a cup of coffee with a fresh croissant in the morning admiring the Forum :-)! The only thing that not really was pleasant in hotel for me is a some special smell, I always very strongly react to smells, but it's not a big problem, just a little minus. Finally, I am very glad I chose this hotel for my 5-day trip to Rome, as all sights were near and I could study perfectly the downtown walking everywhere on foot (the main thing to have very good footwear :-). My conclusion - hotel is perfectly suitable for acquaintance with Rome! I recommend!
Amazing location, helpful staff, beautiful roof deck.
Hotel is one of the oldest in Rome and some of the rooms (including the one selected for us) are accessed through strange routes -- up and down multiple elevators and hallways.
