It was a very comfortable hotel. The location was good, a little away from the bustling crowd, but close enough (15 minute walk to St. Mark's Sq.) Would stay there again. As of May 9th, the air conditioning had not been turned on. With temperatures in the high 70's and humidity at least 80%, it was pretty uncomfortable. |

Lovely hotel and friendly staff! Good location, it was easy to walk everywhere. Hotel is clean and rooms are beutifull. We chance the room because of leaking bath tube but the they did the moving for us and the another room was maybe even cosier than first. |

It was a great location on the grand canal and across from the fish market and close to a gondola stop. The room was large and beautiful with a large marble bathroom. The breakfast was plentiful with good variety. The staff very friendly and helpful. The roof top deck was incredible! |

Foscari Palace was a very nice luxury hotel that is well placed for exploring Venice. We had a room overlooking the Grand Canal. It is not a cheap hotel, but then nothing in Venice is cheap. |

Foscari Palace is a quiet, upscale hotel located right off the Grand Canal. It looks impressive, but the quality and friendliness of the staff varied greatly. Our first interaction at check in made us want to turn around and walk out, but when that gentleman was later replaced by a much more cheerful and helpful woman, we were glad we stayed. We later moved to a less expensive hotel and found that it was just as comfortable but far more charming at half the price. Foscari tended to be loud, the beds and pillows were not up to international standards and the view from our room was a wall of the adjacent building. |

Beautiful and convenient location facing the Grand Canal, but out of the dense "tourist" areas. |

This truly beautiful hotel is wonderfully situated right on the Grand Canal just above Rialto Bridge (and just across from the vibrant market which you get to via the San Sophia Traghetti/gondola) -- just about the perfect location! It has a wonderful & helpful staff, beautiful rooms, and a fantastic rooftop terrace to catch the sun! We had no complaints at all. |

The hotel offered luxuary in the middle of venice and was good to go back to in the middle of the day when you needed a break from walking. It was great to sit on the roof terrace and watch the boats go up and down the grand canal. Excellent breakfast to set you up for the day. An explanation of what the hotel offered on arrival would have been helpful. |

The hotel is in a good location, easy to get to from either the bus or train station and is not far from either the Rialto or St. Marks Square, it is beautifully presented and the staff are very attentive. The breakfast is very good with a plentiful supply of food. |

The hotels central location made it very easy to move around the city. The Ca d'Ora water bus stop was 1 block away and the S. Sofia traghetto ferry was right outside the hotel door. These made access to the main city sights easy. |

The location of the hotel is very convenient; centrally located. We walked from the train station; about 20 minutes with checking our street map, but it was a way to get the flavor of the city. About same distance to San Marco Square. Also close to Rialto Bridge. Breakfast was outstanding, above expectation. |

Hotel very central and close to water busses. Excellent breakfasts, rooms were comfortable and very tidy. The hotel provided us with a beautiful cot for our baby.Nice fruit bowl on arrival. Bar and lounge facilities available. We had a 9 month old baby with us, the room had no kettle in it so we had to fetch hot water downstairs at all hours for his bottles, very frustrating. Some of the features of the spa bath did not work. room a little noist at night. |

The free water taxi to Murano, the size of the room and the efforts made by staff to be accommodating. No sky tv, but you don't go to Venice for that. Do you? |

Beautiful premises in perfect location; nice and helpful staff; well-equipped room and bathroom with high ceiling and free internet; impeccable cleanliness; lavish breakfast. Especially appreciated the complimentary fruit bowl on my arrival, since I missed lunch and had to wait for my company for dinner. As always, a kettle in the room would have been nice, as would an iron and/or a trouser press. |
