The room was very nice, large and the service impeccable. The breakfast was high quality with a large variety from which to choose. The most impressive thing is the quietness of the room - I woke each morning surprised to open the windows and realize that we were in Venice. The only thing that I could complain about is that the room had a lovely jacuzzi bathtub - that I discovered was broken after spending 30 minutes to fill it it with water and also that bathroom fan did not work. |

Great location, friendly staff, lovely breakfast and nice room. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were the only thing missing. |

The location on the Grand Canal near the Rialto Bridge was sensational: very convenient to train station, vaporetta public ferry transport service, local restaurants and shops. The luxury of the hotel premises, services, and other facilities including breakfast. We particularly enjoyed the great selection at breakfast buffet (including smoked salmon), the sumptious hot chocolate served in very attractive lounge overlooking Canal at very reasonable prices, and the roof top terrace on which we enjoyed sunsets and watching the spectacle of life on the Grand Canal. No. The Foscari exceeded all our expectations which were high to start with. |

The hotel is well located and we found it easily by taking the water bus from the station it was a short walk from the bus stop.We found the hotel clean and the room very nice. The breakfast was excellent. The location is aneasy walk to St Marks and the Rialto Bridge The shower in the bathroom was badly designed and leaked water all over the bathroom and the hairdryer was situated in the bathroom and was difficult to use because of its postion, the lighting in the bathroom was while attractive very poor and it was difficult to see to shave.etc. |

Service and helpfulness of the staff was excellent. The breakfast was delicious with a choice of variety of typical cheeses, meat and pastry and many fresh fruit, including exotic fruit. The site promises rooms with canal view, but it seems the hotel does not have lots of such rooms or has just a couple. Booking a superior (not standard) rooms does not mean the canal view and this was a slight disappointment. Anyway, the room was of great quality. |

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Room was very comfortable and large. The location on the Grand Canal was ideal and the views from the rooftop platform were great. Breakfast was very good with a large selection to choose from. |

Great location on the Grand Canal next to gondolas and one minute from the Casa D'Oro vaporetto stop. Excellent breakfast (apart from the coffee which was a little weak and watery for our taste). Looked as though it had been recently and very tastefully refurbished. Romantic rooftop balcony with views over Venice and the Grand Canal. |

Terrific location right on the Grand Canal. Easy access by water taxis, vaporretos, or on foot. Plenty of good restaurants around. We got soaked in a typical torrential rain but the hotel couldn't offer us any means of drying our clothes and footware. It was too early in the year for the heating system to be turned on and we could not use the hotel's dryers. |

The bulding/decoration, kindness of the stuff, great terrace on the roof, the variety/freshness of the breakfast, the location and the proximity to vaporetto's stop/traghetto. |

Its location was the best - easy access to boats, gondola's and the city of venice. extra supplement for a room with a canal view which I was unaware of when booking and thought with the price i paid should have had one or at least a nicer response when i requested one. |

I liked the view on the rooftop. Accessability from C 'dero drop off on the water taxi and proximity to most of the interesting things to see in Venice. The food that should have been warm like pancakes and toast were cold. Need either toaster or warmer for these items. The yogurt was room temperature not cold. The servers stand and watch you eat and make your breakfast choices which is quite weird. Otherwise, had plenty to select from with the breakfast. |

The staff were pleasant and heplful. We were able to leave our luggage to be collected later. The best thing was probably the roof terrace which I could have spent all my time on just watching the comings and goings on the Grand Canal. |
