Set near the Grand Canal in the peaceful Cannaregio district of Venice, UNA Hotel Venezia is a 5 minute walk from the Rialto Bridge, and 10 minutes from St. Mark's Square.
Score from 511 reviews Wonderful
Comfortable, great value for money, good location, better than average breakfast. I would come here again.
Noisy reconstruction early in the morning for one hour (they could've waited at least after 9am, esp. when you arrive at night). Shower head so old it remembers Marco Polo.
This was a great hotel. It met all our expectations. It was a genuine 4star hotel. Great location good facilities. Breakfast was good. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were pleasant.
The shower cubicle was small. If your a plus size your going to have a bit of trouble
The location is just some minutes walking from RIALTO bridge and more 5 minutes from the famous St.Marco square. WIFI is free in all rooms not only the lobby. a lot of restaurants and places to eat and drink around with reasonable prices
If I have to write then I could say that the breakfast could have one more dish at least with some vegetables.
All things were perfect
Excellent location Friendly staff Good breakfast
The room size is quite big considering other hotels in Venice, The breakfast is excellent, the surrounding area is nice.
The bathroom furniture were needed some renewal.
spacy room, very nice presonnel
choice for breakfast too small, cold floor (marmor tiles)
The staff was very helpful always. The rooms were pretty. The location was good.
- great location...vaporetto station only 2 min away and walkable distance to the rialto bridge, st. marco plaza - wide selection of breakfast buffet menus - staff are very kind and receptive to every request - clean rooms with fresh linens and towels
- bathroom smelled a little when we first entered - other than that, will visit again the next time we're in venice!
We were upgraded on our room at no extra charge. What a nice surprise because we were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. Our stay here was very comfortable.
Having breakfast outside on this small balcony (if you are lucky enough to grab one of the 3 tables) just has to be the liveliest most wonderful view anywhere, watching the gondoliers, gondolas and the hustle and bustle of the Grand Canal. Divna, the fantastic receptionist, who changed our room without a quibble even though she had just come on duty at 7 in the morning. All the staff were terrific but her attitude towards our complaint made the holiday different from "putting up with the accommodation", to having a gorgeous room with a side balcony, (room 303) giving a sideways on view of the Grand Canal gondola stop.
The difficulty in finding Foscari Palace hotel,( more our fault than theirs). Sadly, the night reception gentleman was unable to speak English and as it had taken us 3 hours walking up and down those thousands of bridges, with suitcases to try to find Foscari Palace (erm, not Foscari Palace Hotel) der ! and having arrived at the hotal at 1 a.m. It took AGES to check us in, and not to be able to get a drink (not coffee) was one grim start to our holiday. Tip - Totally digest the directions FROM TREVISO AIRPORT bus, SO -when the driver "dumps you" and says "water bus" (that`s all you`ll get no matter how many times you ask) - turn left and look for the yellow box like shelters which will say " Pte ROMA " which is the Water bus terminus and look for LIDO, Line 1 (quickly as they do not hang about) lit up on the side of the water bus - The Lido is the END of Line 1, -, Get on the water bus quikly and after 3 stops look for Ca`Dora, - get ready to get up as it will be your next stop. Ca`Dora, will be on your left as you travel down the Grand Canal. Get off and go straight up the narrow alley, You will come onto a main street. Turn right. - Walk straight on 200 yards, turn right, and 100 yards on the left is HOTEL Foscari Palace.
Fantastic location, on the Grand Canal and near the Vaporetta stop. Very quiet. Very good buffet breakfast.
we had nice dinner and boat trip after.was very good.staff very helpfull and friendly.
The room 304 with a little terrace
no kettle in room but had gone prepared. Breakfast should of had a toaster.
perfect location, at Canal Grande, easy 10 min walk from Agilaguna Blue Line (from airport) stop at Fondamente Nove, but also close to Vaporetto Ca 'd oro. Amazing view from rooftop terrace. Next to canneregio with loads of affordable restaurants. Enjoyed every minute.
service of staff very helpful and extemely nice people Hotel was very clean and in a very good location
bathroom shower was terrible- too small and they had too many options in a small space Breakfast was ok Expensive for what you got stayed at another hotel two years ago in venice and it was a better value
Location of the hotel
Our room was small and our view was of the wall of the next building about 10 meters away. We must have been above the kitchen because each morning at 7 we were awakened to the noise of deliveries and the clanking of dishes. Not at all what we expected from a 4 star hotel.
The view the dinner and cruise the location in relation to the public transportation the food the staff was all wonderful ! I plan on returning to this same hotel !
my bathtub/shower did not work properly the bed was almost too hard and therefore somewhat uncomfortable but it was worth the dislikes to get the fabulous likes!
Staff were helpfull ,clean hotel ,location is on the fifith station so it takes you about 15 minutes to get to you using public boat (20 Euro per person for 24 hours ) .
Quite sleep and good position
Minibar with out of date goods inside, meaning low attention to details and possibly low quality hygiene standards. Cheap breakfast.
Location was perfect
One member of staff was rather rude
Position ideal on Grand canal. Front desk, breakfast and bar staff excellent.
Room incompletely cleaned from previous guest, hair brush full of hair left on chair, spill stains from drinks not cleaned from table surface, rubbish left in drawer under basin. Tidy but felt superficial effort by cleaning staff.
Great location on the Grand Canal. Our room had a balcony with a view of the canal. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast included. Working A/C.
The room had broken furniture. Vanity and shaving mirror lights were not working. A broken and cracked toilet seat. We overheard other guests complain to the front desk with similar problems. One guests door wouldn't lock.
The breakfast was excellent, and lounge and balcony of the room
The staff were not particularly helpful re local knowledge. Many if the fixtures were broken, lots of Mosquitos and no screens
Position Being able to arrive by water and be dropped at door on canal.
Uncomfortable bed. Not very attentive staff for a 4 star hotel. Couldn't make hot drink in room. Advertises bar terrace but as there was no-one at bar on the occasions we went, we did not feel like using it. Bar never seemed to be open.
