nice and clean rooms, small balcony with nice view over the Peninsula Portofino. Free parking on the site.Good breackfast. we choose this hotel knoying that the spa and wellness are provided in the facilities of the hotel free of charge.surprisingly we were ask to pay using the spa 25 Euro per day per person. The staff of the hotel blamed Booking for not advertising correct. As we were charge 22 Euro for using the internet.like this should be advertising for the spa.The staff told us that the internet and spa doesn't belong to the same company that owns the hotel. As client checking out of the hotel made us fill bad. |

The view from the room and the size of the room. The price is too high. The spa (and the gym) is closed most of the day. |

The view. The breakfast. That they allowed us to to leave... not kidding! It raises a serieous question, when a hotel disapoints that much, and you booked from 2 nights, can they force you to stay/pay? I think with this discription they may not. My opinion is that they were entitled to the price of one night and I will be much more careful next time..... The staff at the reception is every travellers nightmare. They have this attitude that it is their task to tell you what you must do in order to be allowed to spend the night. The room was rather cramped for the price, I asked for a bath and we received a tiny shower. The door did not stay closed. So either the other one had to keep it closed, or the whole bathroom became wet. The free parking was extremely limited to about 14 cars. Then you had to park in the garage for 15 euro's. Which was also the price to get internet to check your emails. Town is 1700 metres away. There were spots on the carpet and rust on the balcony and when we decided one night was enough, we had a fight with the rude staff, wanting to bill us for two nights anyway. |

I liked the comfortable easy ambience of the hotel. The staff were wonderful - helpful and friendly. It matched its publicity in all the important aspects. Would have preferred it closer to town but that is not fault of the hotel. |

The staff was very unfriendly and definitely not helpful. The information given about the hotel is a lie. The hotel is very far from the center of town or any promenade (30min). We got given what was called a seaview when we actually had no view at all, except for the neighboring buildings. A supposed cheap international calling service is available in all rooms for US $53, which is a rip-off, to say the least. The pool is noisy and our stay there was not the relaxing holiday expected. |

We enjoyed the location and the interior design. The rooms were comfortable and the proximity of the city centre of Rapallo - convenient. Poor selection of English language tv channels; poor selection of breakfast options (for the price); again, at the price bathrobes and slippers should have been available |

One of the best pools going.Fresh atmosphere, good staff. The walk into town is 15 min but its a romantic area and a sweet place.Good gelati in town!! They charge $$ for their poxy gym/health room when they say it comes included!! Keep it and I'll do push ups in my room!! The pool makes up for the lack of quality beaches. |

Location was excellent and views across the bay were stunning. Excellent swimming pool and breakfast facilities. A nice, pleasant walk in to Rapallo. Good, secure car parking was also a bonus. Rapallo is a lovely town and the locals are so friendly and welcoming. Excellent local restaurants at reasonable prices. The room was booked on a special rate, but was located right next to the lifts, which was noisy and a constant nuisance. I asked to move to a quiter room, but was told I would have to pay extra as the room booked was at the special rate. This spoilt my holiday and if chaep rooms are going to be locatede by lifts the customer should be made aware of this before the booking is confirmed. |

The hotel was fantastic and ideally located within walking distance to the marina and restaurants. The swimming pool area was great with a snack bar etc. |

The view from our hotel balcony (room 210). We found the hotel staff to be polite but all seemed to suffer from a "contempt attitude problem" toward guests. We were surprised to find that because their was an evening wedding reception that the top floor restaurant was closed to guests. The main restaurant was open but with a limited menu. A very poor show from a hotel that should be able to cater for everyone whatever the circumstances. |

The affability and professionalism of the staff --- from the cleaning personnel to reception, to the bar and restraunt staff. Compliments! I did stay in a rooom with a hanicapped shower, Water did "leak" from the shower area into the bath area -- I suspect a design problem is involved there. |

The view, the room, the decor No iron in the room or the hotel was a problem for me and many other guests who were attending a hotel. The "alternative" of using the hotel laundry service was a rip off |
