the bath wasn't working properly , water stayed in the bath for more than an hour after taking a shower Tv is very small compared to the room

The Old Style of The property

Absolutely humongous room. Great location, not too busy/not too far away by foot from anything. Pretty good breakfast.

Looks like the maintenance has been lacking or not performed at all for the past year. Chipping paint in the corridors, some wall paper peeling at the seams here and there. Somewhat archaic crt tv, and a remote that I just had to wipe it down with some wet naps before feeling comfortable handling it. Restaurant's and room cleaning staff apparently don't play for the same team. Tea kettle and cups from previous day's room service were left in the room even after the room maids were done cleaning it. Laundry service was not available both Sunday and Monday. You were required to hand in the items before 9am to get them back by 8pm the same day. So coming from Cagliari, for a while, I smelled appropriately for the slightly shoddy 4-stars this hotel maintains :)

Good location in a quite area of florence close to the river. Staff are good in general.

Better choice will be nh firenze which is located 200 M. from nh anglo american. Building should be renovated many years ago.

Very elegant, stylish, and comfortable hotel near the heart of the Florence tourist / historical district, but not too close to the noisy, hostel-dominated area around SMN train station. It was an easy 10-15 minute walk for us from the station - just make sure to have a good map of the city before starting out since the street layout is somewhat confusing. The hotel has an amazing breakfast buffet and terrific cappuccino. The staff was very accommodating. There are opera & music performances to be had within a several block radius and the "hop on" bus stops were also close. The Arno river is only a block away and has a lovely path for strolling. All in all, a great hotel and value!

no free-wifi in the rooms, only free wifi in the lobby avaible, old TV set in the bedroom> no receive of SKY channels, reception didnot solved the problem

la struttura é meravigliosa, la camere sono grandi, molto pulite e silenziose, la colazione é a livelli altissimi

le camere ed i bagni avrebbero bisogno di qualche piccolo lavoretto, qualche crepa nei muri, una rimbiancata

Il faisait horriblement chaud dans la chambre, et sec. Nous avons passé toutes les nuits fenêtres ouvertes (en plein hiver...). Impossible de régler la clim...

Größe des Zimmer, und des Badezimmers

Das Bad war kalt, da es nur Handtuch-Heizrohre gibt, die man nicht aufdrehen kann !! Um 23.45 Uhr gab es keine Möglichkeit mehr für Room-Service !

Habitaciones grandes. El desayuno es bastante surtido.

Habitacion y muebles antiguos. Calefaccion mala. Servicio de parking bastante caro

un ottimo albergo per chi come noi doveva vedere uno spettacolo a teatro, sia il comunale che il nuovo teatro di Firenze sono raggiungibili a piedi comodamente

la colazione e l'orario della colazione flessibile fino alle 12 della domenica mattina...

la doccia del bagno senza chiusura, schizzava ovunque per cui il bagno era impraticabile spesso dopo la doccia... almeno metterci una chiusura di vetro o una tenda... da un 4 stelle mi sembra il minimo...

El desayuno es muy bueno, y la ubicación es excelente, al lado del río Arno.

Los cuartos de baño están anticuados, tienen "cortinas" en las duchas, además en la habitación que nos dieron estaban rotas y la bañera no estaba limpia, y la habitación era bastante mala, debajo del tejado. Pedí que nos cambiaran al instante, y nos dieron otra habitación bastante mejor. El hotel cuenta con wifi en todo el edificio, pero fue imposible conectarse desde la habitación. Solamente se podía en la zona de recepción. El personal femenino de recepción poco amable.

Il concierge (Benito) e' un mito. Educatissimo, organizzato, simpaticissimo, molto professionale, sempre pronto a fornirci quel consiglio o aiuto in piu'. Le stanze sono molto belle. Bellissimo il parque' nelle stanze. Il letto era comodissimo(a 3 piazze almeno!), bagno nuovo pulito ed ultra fornito. Bella la lobby e la stanza da colazione e pranzo.

Unica pecca (ma capisco anche il momento intermedio stagionale): l'aria calda che non funzionava in camera. Nel cambio di stagione abbiamo subito un freddo minimo.

El hotel Anglo American destaca por la tranquilidad y amplitud de las habitaciones. Tambien destacar las atenciones del personal del hotel. Hotel bastante céntrico.

hotelul necesita renovare in multe spatii, in special publice. In acest moment nu este de 4 stele.

Adoramos o tamanho do quarto, do banheiro, e até closet tínhamos lá, além de uma sacada. Os produtos de toillete eram ótimos, e os funcionários muito atenciosos conosco, além de ótimo café da manhã, com muitas variedades. Só a sua localização, que é um pouquinho afastado, mas é compensado pela tranquilidade que oferece, e também caminhando, por 15 minutos, está no centro histórico de Firenze.
