NH Anglo American  

Very elegant, stylish, and comfortable hotel near the heart of the Florence tourist / historical district, but not too close to the noisy, hostel-dominated area around SMN train station. It was an easy 10-15 minute walk for us from the station - just make sure to have a good map of the city before starting out since the street layout is somewhat confusing. The hotel has an amazing breakfast buffet and terrific cappuccino. The staff was very accommodating. There are opera & music performances to be had within a several block radius and the "hop on" bus stops were also close. The Arno river is only a block away and has a lovely path for strolling. All in all, a great hotel and value!

We loved this hotel, his location, the comfort big room, the nice brekfest, it is in walking distance from all the main attractions.

It is too bad tha hotels do not give free wifi 24/7.

Was expecting Anglo American style breakfast instead of croissants and Danish. Hotel Restaurant was not open for lunch or dinner and room service food was limited. Spent three nights and unable to get any laundry done as we checked in on a Friday and laundry closed over the weekend.

A good, luxurous hotel with a nice location close to Florence city center. Room is spacious.

The staff was too corporate, unhappy and in the morning the cleaninig ladies keep banging the lockers they keep the cleaning materials. This was very noisy.

It was a surprising hotel. At first glance from the outside you might expect less but we were pleasantly surprised. Whilst the hotel is very old and hasn't been renovated for sometime that was part of its charm and our room was huge with lovely high ceilings a/c safe and large wardrobes. The staff were very friendly and a great breakfast is offered. Wi fi is free in the guest lounge areas in the l lobby and the hotel is located near the river. If you can ride a bike then we strongly recommend you hire them as Florence's attractions are spread throughout the city and riding a bike makes it a very pleasant city to travel around whereas walking is tiring and very hot. You can see so much more by bike. There is a lovely park located near this hotel and a public swimming pool also which is where we hired our bikes from for 10 euro per day and no deposit. The swimming pool and park are a 25 minute walk.

J'avais réservé 2 chambres doubles pour 4 personnes (soit une chambre par couple) pour 5 nuits et à l'arrivée à l'hôtel, le réceptionniste nous a informé qu'il s'agissait de 2 chambres simples pour une seul personne et qu'il nous fallait rajouter la somme de 100 € par couple pour avoir chacun une chambre de 2 personnes . Les lits sont d'une largeur de 2m20 !!!!!!!!!!!!

El hotel muy recomendable, personal muy agradable y dispuesto. El lugar, divino y la ubicacion muy buena, a unas cuadras del centro. Lo volveria a elegir!
