Room very small, bed not very comfortable, OK value for money

My friends and I stayed in Franchi hotel for two nights. We were quite satisfied with the service. Staff is very friendly and eager to help. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It is placed in the Florence suburbs, so you need 20min to get to city center by bus.

The only disadvantage was very small elevator that can take only 2 people with their luggage.

Location and clean of hotel!

Lack of good breakfast! One could not have 4 days in a row just sweet breakfast! Lift is so small that two adults could barely be put in it! Small parking place!

We found Hotel Franchi to be everything we needed and more. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Owner Francesco and his staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful to a couple of tired travelers. And their recommendation of a nearby restaurant, Osteria Biftecca, was a great one. Highly recommended!

Staff were amazing, they were really really helpful, rooms are spacious and clean, close to transportation.

I think i only didn't like the internet as it was weak.

The customer service Free parking!!! Great wifi The employees even sell the tickets for the bus to go to Florence. The bus stop 2 min.away

Some people can say location, well its 10 min in the bus, but if you drive you cannot get in florence with a car, so excelent option for a couple of days

Cosy, with fireplace in the lobby, good breakfast, very helpful stuff - guy at the reception (unfortunately I didnt ask for his name) successfully resolved the problem with the disonest taxi driver who tried to charge us extra. Be carefull, it is about 10-12 euro to get you to the airport, not more:)

The room wes surprisingly big with nice bed and very clean.

It needs a shuttle bus to and from the airport. The taxi was 18 EUR for 5 min ride!

Helpful staff to get checked in and a taxi.

Although breakfast was included, we had an early flight and had to leave before it was available. I would suggest some ready-made wrapped pastries to take along, and some to-go options for coffee.

Only 10 minutes walk from airport and you can take 3 different busses which will take you down town in 15 minutes or back to the hotel. Bus stop at the corner 2 minutes walk. Reception service rooms and breakfast all good.

I paid the stay in advance and I don't like to be charged for 2 Euros per night for some local tax nobody mentioned.

The purpose of the booking was to get an hotel close to the airport. So, Franchi is one of the closest. No problem. The reception people are really kind and extremely helpful. They gave us all relevant informations about how to go in the city, etc.

The hotel is located close to a motorway and a railroad. So, it is really noisy, even with closed windows. Inside the hotel we could also hear what happened in the adjacent rooms... And finally the surrounded area is also not very peaceful...

I liked the young woman who worked the desk and bar the night I got in. She was one of the most helpful people I meet in Italy. Near starvation after traveling all day, she got on the phone and rounded me up food and had it delivered to the hotel. All with a big smile. Thanks JAH

Lack of English channels on TV

Location. It is about 20 min walking from the Duomo.

The breakfast area accommodates 3 tables only. It is the worst one I have ever seen. The proposed parking is more expensive than announced.

Wonderful friendly staff. The owner was most accommodating and delightful. The location near the airport was the reason we stayed for our last night in Florence. We had a wonderful meal in a nearby restaurant called Pizza Man recommended by the owner's fiance.

The mosquitoes were abundant.

Very kind personal, and also helpfull. Possibility to park your car for free, what can be a problem in italy.

There were kind of much people in the hotel and there was not so much space to eat the breakfast some of the days. There was a chance that you had to share a table with other people, for me not a problem but maybe for some people it will be.

It is comfortable and just a short taxi ride to the airport. Good for an early morning flight. Staff was very helpful in making sure the taxi was there at our specified time at 5:30 in the AM. Staff offered to make coffee while we were waiting for the taxi to arrive.

Taxi fare is about the same as staying downtown Florence, so if there is no rush to get to the airport, I would recommend staying downtown. There is not much to do or a desirable place to dine around Hotel Franchi.

We just needed a hotel close to the airport to catch our very early flight. We didn't want to spend much and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. It was clean, friendly and close enough to walk to the airport.

The hotel is convenient to the airport, comfortable and has modern amenities including free wi-fi. But what makes it a standout is the staff. Giancarlo in particular went out of his way to assist in a car rental return that would not have been possible without his help and his persistence. Everyone we dealt with at the hotel was dedicated to making our stay a good one, with Giancarlo being just amazing. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff. Not far from the city center (there is direct bus to the city center - Main train station- busses 29, 30). The room is clean. I enjoyed to sty there

The hotel is good and value for money. Internet and parking free. They are friendly. Close to airport and highway. The room view was good.

The elevator very small. There was bad simile on the room. No one there willing to get our laggeg, you have to do that. The breakfast was good but the time was very short from 7.30 to 9.15 only Fare from city center.
