Friendly, helpful family run hotel. A good restaurant which we were able to eat in on arrival on St Valentines day evening when it was packed. Spa, sauna & steam room all welcome after a long day out.
Breakfast was the same every day & we missed not having a selection of fruits. You can only eat so many donuts filled with creme patisserie!
Staff was great. Location was also great and view was very nice.
Beds need an upgrade. Almost fell through the two twin beds put together. Feet hung over bed too and I am only 6'1".
Nice cosy little spa, good position to start your visit for Costiera Amalfitana. Seeview balcone.
Rooms are not well soundproofed.
Its location (sea view room) & cleanliness, and its friendly staffs
Its breakfast is not upto the mark, no varieties, all cold stupid breakfast, there is no hot foods in the breakfast at all. Its location is far far away from town centre, every time you have to take a bus to commute from town centre, however if you would like to see the sea from balcony, and don't care about town centre, it is ideal.
The staff, were faultless, the hotel & views made it such a wonderful vacation.
Due to the nature of the local drivers - taking transport to & from the hotel became the norm.
Loved the view, the layers of outdoor space including pool, the woman cooking in the restaurant who has been cooking for over 50 years.
A bit of a change getting there figuring out which bus to take- worth the 15 minute bus though.
The location for views is great and sunset was lovely from the pool.
It's on a busy road so walking around from the hotel is difficult. You really need a car if you stay here.
Friendly, helpful, well equipped. High quality bed linen, spotless rooms, all the extras you could need. Good food, great location and very good value. Disabled access good too
The shower cubicles were a little small. A non-slip mat would be a good safety feature, as would a grab rail for elderly/disabled
Fantastic view from room. Would not have been worth it without that view!!! Super clean every day Parking is convenient Terrace and pool really well taken care of and young men up there was friendly and helpful
As a lesbian couple, did not feel welcome. We were stared at a lot, especially at the breakfast buffet. Obviously hotel staff are not responsible for other guests staring at us, but we did not feel that much better with most staff. We didn't care that much as the view is amazing and we were on vacation, but if you are sensitive to this you might want to know
WOnderful location, we had a Junior Suite with a fabulous view from our private terrace overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Capri. Beds were comfy, bathroom roomy, lots of closet space and extra blankets too. Staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely with fruit and sweet croissants, cheeses, cold cuts and great coffee. The view was great from the dining room due to huge picture windows. Would have loved to have stayed longer. The town bus stopped right outside the hotel.
Only hot breakfast item besides the coffee and toast were scrambled eggs in a warmer...so they were room temperature. Our terrace had uncomfortable plastic recliners and a small iron bistro table and two chairs...and a little tiny umbrela which served no protection from the Sun..very uncomfortable for such a lovely spot. On a couple of occasions I was served a local red wine called Aglianico which was corked and the staff seemed shocked when I asked for another glass. I almost switched to drinking white. Mini bar had no red wine in it! Also no coffee maker in the room!
The resturestaurant is good and fresh food. The parking and the sea view
if you book as family and get the suites be aware it is a very long walk and a lot of stairs (around 40) and no one willing to help with .luggage They had an issue with the internet connection and took them 3 days to solve the issue.
This hotel was the end of our Italian foray and provided the most perfect close to our holiday. The views across the bay are just amazing, the room was absolutely perfect, unbelievable. Food at dinner in the restaurant was absolutely first class. Pool terrace was just wonderful. Definitely will be back! Thank You to Spa Bellavista Francischiello!
Leaving! If I had to say any negatives, breakfast could have been a little more inspiring. Very much a continental, a little scrambled egg but that was it if you wanted anything hot, which I do. Still very good though. In the middle of nowhere, albeit on main road down to Sorrento. That suited us but you couldn't really walk if you would want a night out strolling and wining and dining. But as a comfortable base, absolutely first class. Thank You
View of Capri was good.
Staff not very helpful, almost felt like being a guest was a nuisance to them at times. We were told off for trying to use the wrong food table at breakfast "that is for lunch!" On some days the room wasn't made up until the mid to late afternoon. If you wished to borrow the iron & board it had to be used next to reception in full view of the other guests. The bill was hand written! Parking can be difficult as there aren't enough spaces when there is a function on as well. Lifts broke down on occasions too. Would not return to this hotel.
Great Location Fantastic Spa and Pool Bus into Sorrento stops right outside hotel. Great Breakfast
Woke up one morning to lots of ants in room by french windows. Evening meals in restaurant not as good as Breakfasts. Hard Beds asked for a double ended up with two singles pushed together and made up as a double. - Not quite the same.
Spacious clean rooms, bathroom roomy. Linen and towels changed on a daily basis. I didn't try any Spa treatments but they were there if you wanted, just made good use of the jacquzzi pool and gym. Restaurant was absolutely the best in the area. Easy access by cheap public transport to everywhere.
Beds are a bit too firm.
The pillows on the bed
View amazing Room cleaning Breakfast & dinner
Reception staff very miserable & in friendly. Lunch time food expensive
very nice rooms with everything you need, good wi fi, helpful staff, parking for your car and a good breakfast.
Location is difficult to find for a first time visitor, you have to bus into the city and not so easy to get a return bus later at night.
Lovely hotel and very good value for money . helpful friendly staff and great restaurant would definitely recommend to friends.
On a very busy road with no paths to walk along and buses unreliable probably say a car is recommended.
excellent restaurant, rooftop pool overlooking the coastline, friendly staff all over, good breakfast, walking distance to small town Massa Lubrense
The place is beautiful, great location. The food was good in both breakfast and dinner. The staff is wonderful, thank you Anna, thank you Carmine. We stayed for 5 days and was very good.
The incredible view, the outdoor space and roof top pool. We had great meals at the restaurant, with more great views. The staff were friendly and always so helpful. At the Bellavista you are in a gorgeous hotel and you certainly feel pampered. Bellisimo !
It seems that the three regions that we stayed in did not have comfortable beds, they were hard beds, we ended up putting the cushions from our lounge chairs under our sheet to add a little padding.
This hotel has a beautiful view out over the sea to Capri, great pool and a comfortable room with balcony. It is well located and we enjoyed our stay and would go back.
The service at the front desk and in the restaurant and pool was excellent. The rooms and the bathroom were clean. The view at the roof top pool is breath taking. The rooms with the view of the water are worth the money.
The bed in our room was very hard and unfortunately you could feel the springs in the bed. The pillows were also really hard with no softer options in the room. Also our queen bed was actually 2 twins pushed together (which is typical in Italy.) The hotel is great, but just know the bed you have in your room may be hard and could affect your sleep.
