The view was amazing. the massive terrace we upgraded too. The restaurant was great.

This hotel came up under my searches for Sorrento, I didn't understand how far away it was from Sorrento and that it was a separate town (we did love the town though I just think it should be more obvious when booking that it's quite an excursion getting there.

O potvrdi o rezervaciji stajalo je da soba ima balkon, a na licu mesta dobili smo sobu u prizemlju bez balkona sa pogledom na put koji je na 3 metra od prozora. Bazen i okolina bazena nelice na ono sto se nudi na fotografijama u prezentaciji. Veoma skup smestaj za ono sto se nudi.

we loved the fact that they offered free shuttle services to the town of Sorrento every 30 minutes and let me tell you that can add up if you were to take a taxi every time you want to visit Sorrento, unless you rent a car. The trip from their hotel to town takes about 10 minutes and they pick you up at the same drop-off point every 30 minutes. their breakfast buffet is incredible! full blown buffet and you may order off their breakfast menu they provide fresh off the griddle, which is also complimentary! the hotel staff is very helpful and speak English. The views are incredible from this hotel and would highly recommend it.

the location of the hotel to city centre is of no walking distance, but they well than make it up with their excellent shuttle services. shuttle vans are brand new and our stay was in December and the shuttle was kept nice and warm for guests.

We loved Sorrento. Other than that specific to the hotel there is not much to say. Maybe only; the staff was nice.

The hotel was rather old. But to be honest, I do not know why we expected much more than what we got. The first moment we arrived we couldn't believe that this was the hotel we booked. The pictures in the booking.com makes it seem much more luxurious than the reality. Our room was 2nd best among the three kind of rooms they had but it did not feel like it. The bed had some hair inside it which was pretty disgusting but we were so tired that we couldn't even care. The most unpleseant thing was the bathroom. The shower leaked all through the night. The hotel is in a good location if you especially arrive by car because it is very quiet but other than that the hotel needs more attention. Some of the counches in the reception did not even have a cover they were souly sponge and torn. This does not seem acceptable to me. How much does it cost- timewise and money- not to let your guests see yellow sponges in the reception area?

I liked the people in the hotel and in the ristorante, some are soon to be family to me I liked them so much! I feel like coming back for a third time! Grazie Anna, and the staff in the ristorante!!!!!

In my opinion, there is nothing not to like.

I love almost everything about this hotel exception of gym is super small and only.have 3 machines . The restaurant in hotel are the best value and friendly staff .very.impress.

location, bus service unreliable,strikes goin on all the time.buses finished too early in evening ,taxis a rip off( 35 euros for ten minute journey!)

Out of the main city. 100 yr family operation. Comfortable.

Need to offer water in the spa. Need to make the address clear on the booking. GPS could not find the hotel in a Sorrento category.

The view was as described, overlooking Capri and the ocean. The hotel restaurant was adequate and the service good. Alexander at the front desk was helpful and tried to answer all questions. There is a rooftop pool and an indoor pool and spa.

The location is in Massa Labrensa which is 8km or so from Sorrento and without a car you have to rely on bus transportation. The drivers went on strike (unannounced) during our visit and we were restricted to the Sita bus. Buy your tickets from the station or hotel which offers basic resident service. We encountered some issues with the routes as in asking three drivers about the route were given three different answers. The restaurant did not have wine by the glass or partial litre. They bring a bottle, drink what you want and then find the price!

all staff except the boss who was a miserable so and so were 1stclass pool was good food very good

nearer the road than we anticpated lots of traffick in the pictures on web it shows meals served on balcony this is no no to much noise and fumes bedsvery hard for us as were pillows

The hotel had a restaurant on the premises so you could get a good meal upon your return each day. The wait staff there are pleasant. The view out the window was excellent, over the bay to Capri.

Although there is indeed a bus stop right in front of the hotel, the bus only stops if you 'buzz' to get off or are standing in front to get on. When you've never seen the hotel, it is hard to know when to buzz. We ended up walking back down the hill with our luggage in tow at night, trying to avoid cars. You MUST take the bus anywhere and everything goes back through Sorrento! The day we left, there was a strike and the bus was full so refused to stop for us. The hotel called a cab and we paid 45 euros to get to the train station in Sorrento (a 1.2 euro bus ride). The lesson learned was to stay in Sorrento in the future unless you have a family and your own car along. The only other negative is that the balcony with the view is right above the road, so the traffic all night made it unreasonable to have the doors open for the fresh air.

Fierndly stuff, clean and room with beautiful view, nice pool, good localisation- I can advise this hotel for everone who looks for relax but also wants to make some excursion to towns like Positano or Ravelo.

In spite fact that hotel is placed in front of busy street noise does not disturb so much, beautiful view from balcony compensates this inconvinience.

Over priced. Long trek walking up and down stairs and along walkways to and from our suite in annex. A la carte dinner menu restricted in quality and choice.

We stayed in a triple classic room, this was beautifully decorated, very clean, they changed out towels daily they smelt so fresh and clean! the room had a nice small balcony with beatiful views of the sea and capri, a great spot to sit and watch the sun go down, the room was better than expected. The food in the restaurant was the best that we had eaten whilst in Sorrento, the pasta dishes were the best I have ever tasted, all ingredients were so fresh and everything was homemade, fantastic value for money! The spa area was lovely and relaxing, and the pool area was relaxing with amazing views, however they could make more of the area! Staff were always friendly and welcoming. The hotel is surrounded by lovely countryside and is a great area for relaxation, one thing we were slightly worried about was the buses, however during our 4 days staying at the hotel we had absolutely no issue with the bus service into Sorrento or massa lubrense, the bus stop is directly outside the hotel and the buses run from very early in the morning until around 12 or 1am so we were suprised as to why people were complaining about the buses as they were also very regular and only cost €2.40 for a return, much cheaper than the €30 euros quoted for a 10 minute drive into the centre of sorrento.There were only a couple of negatives and overall the experience was very good and excellent value for money.

The beds and pillows were quite hard and the three of us had uncomfortable sleeps during our stay. The pool area could do with a little updating in terms of the furniture!

a comfortable, attractiive, family run hotel. sea views including Capri. All the meals were tasty and the service consistently friendly and helpful. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools are a welcome option. Our room was clean, well decorated and the bed was comfortable.All facilities are available- you only have to ask. air conditioning can be switched on or off in the room, and a phone call to reception and they will adjust the temperature . Parking is available at no chargeand wi fi was reliable and also at no charge. Buses to Sorrento and Amalfi stop outside- we were not disturbed by the traffic.

I liked that it was a traditional italian hotel located just outside Sorrento which was perfect for us as it was nice and quiet. Good food, friendly staff and nice roof pool. I would definitely recommend friends or family to stay here.

The folks running this hotel are extremely helpful and accommodating! Always willing to help . The facility is extremely goog. From the view of the sea to the health and spa room and the pool area. The breakfast was also well worth going to with a wide variety of food s to choose from. The hotel also is also link to a very good day trip service to th eIsl of Capri (good value).

Although the location offered a great view it was a bit away from Sorrento and one had to bus into the city to get access to other attractions.

The Hotel is in a fantastic location away from the noise of Sorrento so you do need a car but its worth it. Great views , nice pool area and above all the food in the hotel restaurant is first class and not at all pricey. We stayed in every night it was so good.

They tried to give us a room without a balcony when we first arrived. Had to change rooms once during our four night stay in order to get the balcony. No apologies given.

People are very kind

Some reviews commented on the out of town location and proximity to the coast road. Personally we did not find this a problem, great views from the rooftop and quiet clean pool. Restaurant is very reasonable we ate there a couple of times, good buffet breakfast. Clean rooms, friendly family restaurant.

We reserved this hotel based on positive reviews, but we found an old facility, with smell of old funiture and food from the restaurant everywhere. When arrived our junior suite was full of hair and old dirt in all the corner of the room, fortunately when noticed to the reception we got the room cleaned. Our bathroom had a unpleasant odour of drain pipe, looked generally old and tired. We had reservation for 3 nights, but we left after the first night. Not that value for money in our experience.
