Score from 423 reviews Very good
Great layout, unique design with great furniture and art work. Loved the balcony, made us feel we were part of Rome
More privacy in the toilet
Very nice decoration and very well located Even breakfast was very nice with several brioches, bread, cheese, jam, fresh juice, coffee or tea of your choice. All served in the room. We really enjoyed this very much.
Maybe provide a fold table for real breakfast in bed ?
Location, very clean, attentive helpful staff. We were a given a room without external view but staff promptly addressed the issue. Adequate continental breakfast.
Excellent location Room has many shelves and great closet space.
Shower was impossible to set to correct temperature and wifi worked about 25 percent of the time.
Close to the piazza di spagna, 5 min from Fontana Trevi, the location is superb to explore Rome and shopping possibilities around. The rooms are dedicated to details, breakfast very good for have a good start in the morning. Any Requests has been taken care of in short time. I liked very much the suite "frattina on the roof" it has a little terrace overlooking the roofs and street. Would book it again.
The Frattina suites are in a private apartment building in a nice street, very close to the Spanish Steps. We stayed three nights in room 1950 (the one with the interesting wallpaper with a picture of a marble sculpture). The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. They brought breakfast into our room every morning (coffee, juice, croissant w/ nutella, bread, cheese) at the time we asked for. The staff was very kind. We would certainly recommend this hotel.
The wall between our room and the next was very thin, and we could hear the guests next door. They could probably hear us too, so a bit of a privacy issue.
Location, room, cleanliness.
We had the 1960 room (at the back). You can not open curtains as the neighbors will look straight into your bed / bath. The bath is cute, but not very practical if you just want to have a shower. The room is noisy because you can hear the neighbors next door and is no fault of the hotel. Would stay again but in the 1950 room. Street side so even noisier, but more privacy and a shower. The room is expensive but seems in line with what is normal in Rome.
the room was lovely, the staff were prompt and helpful, we stayed in the roof top suite it was very private and spacious the location was amazing we waled every where and only used a taxi once!! would reccomend to anyone.
Extremely helpful staff and a fantastic location
Location was great - right in the centre of Rome and the shops. Close to the Spanish steps. Very modern, clean and easily accessible. Wifi available plus lots of space to place luggages. Mini kitchen with a mini fridge is a plus
The shower was very difficult to operate. It did not have hot water and is combined with the toilet so the toilet gets wet when you shower. The staff are only available between 10am-2pm, so you are essentially on your own after 2pm. Hard to reach the staff when you require toiletries etc
Breakfast and location
amazing furniture and great location
We asked for a late check in and had to wait for 25 minutes outside in the rain because there was no one at the reception. The contact person stopped answering the phone. When eventually we got someone to open the door for us, we found out that our room was gonna be in another building. We asked breakfast to be served at 8.30 (earliest time possible..) and didn't get any before 9.45. The service wasn't good enough.
Good location. Very friendly staff and great if you want to escape the big chain hotels.
Slightly cramped reception area and whilst the breakfast was great it was strange to have delivered to the room.
Wonderful location, it's near the main attractions of Rome, just two minutes from "piazza di Spagna", for example. The room is beautiful, the furniture is really particular. Breakfast is really rich, and it's a good thing for travellers that have to walk around Rome all day long. The staff is nice and always available for help. Next time we visit Rome we'll stay here for sure!
Perfect city centre location! Staff were very helpful, in particular allowing us an early check-in, and providing a gluten free breakfast and restaurant options. Our room was clean and very comfortable Access to a mini-bar with water, nuts and chocolate that was free until restocked Use of a lift to the fourth floor was great after a long day walking the city!
The location was great and close to all the important attraction in Rome The bad was comfortable and the room area is very quite most of the time.
The location was excellent, very near piazza di spagna and via condotti, and within walking distance of sights like fontana di trevi and piazza del popolo. The staff was helpful and attentive, especially Dorota, who was really kind and helped us book restaurants and taxis. The room was kept very clean, and the breakfast provided was more than adequate. The rooms were lovely, nicely decorated, with attention to detail. Very good value for money, for Rome!
Perfect spot and nice balcony. The breakfast was very good and probably has improved compared with the past. Would come back for sure
The room was excellent
The room presentation was amazing, we loved the design and the lighting of the room, very friendly and warm. The service was great and breakfast in bed was just perfect. Greetings were very friendly and in a perfect location...if i ever come back to rome this will the hotel i stay at again. Thank you for making the experience grand.
Really nice room, very comfortable, pictures don't do justice, as I stayed in 1960's room and was even nicer than in the Pictures. Staff very friendly and no intrusive. Definitely will recommend.
The dog that barks in the building across.
Great place close to all attractions. State of the art design. I loved it!
Location was excellent right by Spanish Steps
It is not a boutique hotel like advertised. It is 2 apartments on different floors woth 3 individual rooms each. Zero staff overnight. Can't even lock the main door at night! Shower had hair in it. Toilet was soiled from previous user. Breakfast was bad quality orange juice and croissant that came out of a packet. The list goes on and on. Plus they tried to overcharge us at arrival!
Amazing location, service and room. It was my partners birthday and they left a bottle of champagne in the room free of charge. Also, they serve the best coffees in Rome at breakfast. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Unusual room's design, location (very very center, just in front of Spanish steps).
Lack of wardrobe (we kept our stuff in suitcase) in the rooms.
