The staff were lovely and very helpful. The food in the restaurant was very nice. The views from the hotel and our room were amazing.

We found the hotel to be very dated. The bath was like one of the old tin baths. I wouldn't recommend to anyone that is afraid of heights like I am as I booked this hotel not realising how high up it actually was and when I arrived there and realised how far up we had to travel on the cable car I was shocked as the hotel is situated at the top of a mountain.

Its location - only accissible by cable car, high in the hills. Very friendly staff. Warm, comfortable room

Not alot of selection of food in restaurant. also the restaurant was very cold

Views are superb. Staff friendly and food good. Nice and isolated after the cable car shuts for the evening. Beautiful walks straight from the hotel.

The town at the bottom was a bit disappointing. Not really geared up for tourists and little scope for lakeside walks. Also, the hotel itself is a bit of a carbuncle.

The staff and the fantastic view, like no other. Taking a cable car to the hotel on top of a mountain was a very unique experience. Pauola and the rest of the staff, from the cable starters, waitress staff and bartender, were a pleasure to be with. Always greeted with an infectous smale and good cheer. Would recommend to everyone and Rick Steve. He should give it a try. Least exensive hotel in the region, reasonable in every way. Do yourself a favor and GO!

Seeing the first sunset from the balcony over Lago Maggiore with the Alps in the background instantly made the 9 hours drive from Belgium worth it. Very kind, polite and helpful hotel staff. Very memorable stay and I recommend it strongly to anyone!!!

Quiet nice place with the beautiful view on the top of the mountain (it's possible to go up for about 500 meters more). Tasty food. Good rooms. Nice staff. Just sit back and relax and enjoy the Lago di Madjore.

Elevator works from 10.00 to 18.00 (without an elevator you couldn't get to the hotel) for me it is not enough time to explore the nearest POI's.

Excellent view, close to all, good value for money.Breathtaking views. Very friendly staff - when it was thunderstorm and we could not reach the hotel by the cableway, the owner of the hotel offered us other places to spend the night. One of the best hotels I have seen.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and had a fantastic stay. The lady (Paola) in charge was lovely and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a comfortable room with the most fantastic view of the Lake from the balcony. The restaurant food was lovely, especially the Perch Risotto :-). The views from the cable car was amazing. Although the cable cars were small, there were perfectly safe and a great experience. We would definitely go there again.

It is not good that you ought to pay extra for lift. Second - you can come away and go back only during working time of the lift.

Very nice view of the lake Maggiore and the mountain. Nice experience with the nature. Stuffs are friendly and helpful, everybody has a great smile. Breath-taking when it's a beautiful weather on the on the top mountain.

There're quite many insects in the room, like flies and ants, even on the bed. Little bit cold on the top. Not that much convenient if you wish to visit the town by cable car.

This hotel is unique for it's location and atmosphere. It can only be reached by cable car and so from late afternoon until about 10 am guests are in splendid isolation from the little town below. The views are stunning in all direction and each room has a balcony. Stepping out from the hotel takes you straight into mainly beech woods and it is possible to walk down to Laveno - fairly steep and rugged for the average walker. Lots of wildlife. The owner, Paola was attentive and helpful and all the staff likewise and made us very welcome. The food was first rate - simple and wholesome.

You must be prepared to wake up in a cloud which could be dense and chill. However you have the choice to sit by the wood stove in the restaurant where there is drink and food. This is not the choice if you are unfit or scared of heights and want pampering and luxury as it is quite basic. Once you are up there there is no way down if the cable car is not running.

Arriver à l'hotel ds une"cabine "accrochée à un fil :(funuculaire) c'est très originale , impressionnant et inoubliable, je le recommande, c'est partir à la découverte, et de là -haut quelle vue magnifique, et ce calme!!

Letti comodi, cibo ottimo, servizio molto buono, posizione unica.

Orari funivia, le sedie del bar sul terrazzo da cambiare...veramente orribili, camera da verniciare. La grondaia davanti al balcone e alla finestra della camera 301 è da eliminare, rovina un panorama perfetto. Consigli: 1) un posto sicuro dove accendere un fuoco all'aperto la sera con le sedie intorno. 2) una vasca con acqua calda e idromassaggio x 2 persone a pagamento possibilmente panoramica, Noi l'avremmo affittata a 30 eruo l'ora.

Site exceptionnel, malgré un temps excécrable (pluie, brouillard), nous avons particulièrement apprécié ce site exceptionnel, l'accès par téléphérique et la vue panoramique sur les lacs et les montagnes. Personnel très serviable et parlant français.

Notre chambre était située au-dessus de la salle des machines du téléphérique : bruits et vibrations désagréables jusque 23h (insupportable pour dormir) et à partir de 8h. Nous reviendrons à condition d'avoir une chambre calme.

будьте готовы, к тому что после захода солнца там очень холодно, как иначе. Ну и сам номер был очень скромный, воняло плесенью и не очень удобная кровать. Но за такую цену другого и не ожидали... Подъем на фуникулере 10 евро на человека

Wij zijn fietsreizigers en kwamen op onze reis van Oosterbeek naar Venetië via Booking.com dit hotel nabij het Lago Maggiore tegen. Het zou bij de kabelbaan liggen, dus fietsten wij in Laveno naar de kabelbaan. Daar bleek het hotel niet beneden maar juist boven op de berg te staan. De bagage in de ene gondel, wij in de andere en zo kwamen we bijna 750 meter hoger bij het hotel aan. De fietsen konden beneden blijven. Wat een prachtplek voor een hotel en wat een mooie uitzichten over diverse meren! Een aanrader met gunstige prijs, waar wel de kabelbaankosten nog bijkomen.

Het ontbijt is erg simpel, maar wat wil je ook voor € 35,-- voor kamer met ontbijt voor twee gasten!

Le bruit du télépherique , la chambre se trouverait au dessus de l arrivée Il tourne en permance de 8 h à 23 h le week-end (8h / 19 h la semaine ) Par contre ouvert au public seulement à partir de 11 h ( il faut négocier pour descendre avant 11 hèures ) En semaine dernier téléphérique à 18 h se qui oblige de manger sur place dans le restaurant (correct)
