Staff is very nice, I have been served breakfast even after I arrived a few minutes later than their breakfast time.
Noise, oh my. the window facing the back alley is noisy to the point it's disturbing.
Close to old city and harbor.
Noise, the owner of the hotel.
It was 2min walk from the train station and 5min walk to the Cruise terminal which was an excellent location for us. The elderly gentleman at the front desk was very helpful.
Members of the staff at Hotel Galata were always pleasant, & informative. The directions & suggestions of where to visit were valuable. I appreciated their understanding when I was late arriving.
I didn't find anything not to like.
location is good walking distance from train station.
so noisy from the street below the hotel. staff is not friendly and gentle. specially the front desk officer.(Mr. )
Great location off the train station. Walking distance to a center of town. We had a huge room. Perfect for people catching cruise ships
There was some type of alcohol induced parade on the street below us that sounded like a mob but It passed and it wasn't that bad. It was over quickly
We booked this hotel because of the location and it was perfect only a minute or so from the rail station
It was out of season, so the roof bar which they advertise was not open.
The Location was perfect, we only stayed one night, out on a cruise the following day and the port was just a 5 minute walk from the Hotel. Staff were extremely friendly, language was a bit of a barrier but not a problem, they understood what we wanted.
The room was very basic - hoping for a view out of the windows -
