Enza, a member of staff who was the only pleasant person we experienced.

A pretty poor hotel that seems to carer more for the cheap end of the corporate meeting market. The breakfast is of poor quality and selection and the staff generally are unhelpful and only seem to answer questions you ask of them, rather than providing you with information about the hotel's facilities. There is no beach and the sea is accessible from a weird wooden structure. The area directly around is not geared up to tourism. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this hotel and also Acitrezza.

Excellent Hotel, value for money. The staff excelled with their genuine hospitality. One of the doors lock to our room broke and they came out and fixed the door immediately. The food was first class.

Very nice apartment with kitchen corner and beautiful view from the terrace.

They charged extra for wifi 5 euros. In such a hotel it should be free. Although after paying for the wifi, it was not available in our room, only near reception.

The sea view, and the design of the room which is modern and comfortable. - The receptionist was also very helpful.

An adapter for a Europe standard plug is not available at the hotel. The Wi/Fi has to be paid for. Breakfast is limited, but good enough. The TV channels supplied are all in Italian, therefor I couldn't see any TV, because I don't understand Italian very well. Explanation of when the breakfast is held upon delivery could be also very helpful.

the breakfast was the same everyday, no choice... cold eggs, no variation in eggs like pancankes or poached eggs or fired eggs, one day there was no honey, more fresh fruit (like strawberries..)

We had a very big room. Nice sea view. Private parking. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant next door was very good and not expensive at all.

The air condition was over our heds and make some notice. They didn't have any wifi Internet. They only had an Internet point and the computer worked too slow.

The outdoors are lovely

:))) we had only one problem....we went out in d veranda and closed the door so that Mosquitos don't get inside and the veranda door got locked......so we were locked outside without mobile or anything until a passer by saw us and told d reception and they came to open the bedroom and open d veranda door :)))

No padded covers for the sun beds,so if you have a back/spine problem your in trouble,like myself,

1.The large underground Parking. 2.The safe and silent place on the Sea.

Rubish food at the pool restaurant and overpriced.

Nice location, big rooms & swimming pool/beach space. Staff was nice and professional. Cleaning ladies were very polite and spoke very good English which is surprising for Italy.

Breakfast was not good at all and the room was in a closed space making the 1st activity of the day sad, bad quality/selection of the food. Not nice to start the day going to that sad room !!! Parking was a mess, not easy to get in and difficult to get a normal parking space (many reserved places) as people parked very bad (maybe this is Italian style). Access to the sea was dangerous as stairs in a very bad condition.

Galateea Sea Palace is a well designed and well built hotel, with ample room space in it's recently refurbished rooms. The view from the sea view rooms is splendid. Also with the hotel being located in a natural reservation, the sea life is simply amazing. If you're into snorkeling the first 10 meters of the sea are a true enchantement. Of course, for the same reason (natural reservation, only minimum intervention to the shore allowed), this isn't going to work so well for the elderly folks who might have a hard time even getting into the water. Also the underground parking space is ample, safe and well arranged, which is a big plus considering you really need a car if you're going to stay in this hotel for a longer period. (You cannot really walk to the nearby town and the public transport is a joke, with a bus every two hours) The restaurants on top of the hotel offer amazing views and the prices are quite fair. The pool, while on the small side, is nice and well maintained.

The breakfast is the same every day and could use an improvement on the sortimets as well. I realise that most italians eat light at breakfast, but for the rest of the world some scrambled eggs, small sausages and a few cheese and ham slices won't cut it as "serious" food. The various croissant sortiments were a nice adition tho, and you have fruits, both fresh and prepared. Creating some sort of floating platform so older people can easily get into the water would be a great adition.

Modern room with flatscreen tv. Impeccably clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Plenty of sun-loungers around the pool and on wooden decking from which there were stairs into the sea (not beach, onto rocks!). The room was quiet. Panoramic view out of Aci Trezza bay looking toward the isole dei ciclopi from the pool area. Aci Trezza nearby was a lovely small fishing village with good seafood restaurants. Very secure gated hotel. Great aircon. The balcony got the whole afternoon and evening sun and was big, although not very private. Close to Mt. Etna.

The pool closed between 13.30 and 16.00 for some strange reason. The life guard chased people out of the pool between these hours. The breakfast was not great. Odd choice of super-sugary juices and the coffee was terrible. It depended on what time you arrived at what the choice was; after 09.00 was too late. Despite the hotel advertising available parking, it rarely was so, and cars were double and triple parked. We asked for a double bed, but got two single beds pushed together, which was not what we wanted! There was no parasol or shade on the balcony which got the whole of the afternoon and evening sun. The location required a car. The menu was not translated into any other language than Italian.

Nice view, nice pool. Very nice cleaning staff!

No ocean swimming possible, sea was very wild, and descending the stairs into the ocean was impossible with a toddler. There's no beach, just stairs straight into the ocean! It was a bit hard to find the entrance to the hotel with the car, the elevators inside were locked, so we had to carry our luggage the long way (outside rather than inside).

bad location, it's a nightmare without car - no footway to Acitrezza - 20 min walk to city center restauants (if you don't want to eat every day at the hotel rest.); no sandy beach, only a wood platform with stairs to the sea. Breakfast is a joke: jam, croissant, eggs, ham and one type of cheese; no vegetables!!

Il complesso alberghiero merita davvero altre occasioni di soggiornarci ......incantevole la vista mare dalla sala pranzo!!!!

Contare un pò di più sulla qualità che sulla quantità......(Ristorante).
