Admire the wonderful romantic views of the Duomo and bell tower while enjoying your breakfast or a relaxing drink on the terrace at this hotel, a former 18th-century residence.

In a 15th-century building in the San Frediano district of Florence, the Casa per Ferie Santo Nome di Gesú has simple rooms. A sweet buffet breakfast is served daily.

Old matress - couldn't sleep well at all. Breakfest is really poor. Wi-fi weak.
Great value for money; clean, comfortable and friendly hotel. Rooms were reasonable large, with great double glazed windows to keep out the street noise. Close to the train station and had an elevator.
Aircon worked well however needed to be controlled by reception (on/off).
The staff are wonderful, the bed is a proper double, not 2 singles shoved together. Small fridge in room perfect for self catering. Location is excellent, easy walk to both station and major tourist sites. Good value for a solo traveler as they have a single use rate for double rooms (which most places don't offer)
Rooms are a little small, but so is the price :-)
Mucho ruido por las noches The air conditioning didnt work
Staff very helpful this is a great place to stay.
can't control conditioner
The location, food and staff were great
Great location for centre and markets. Lovely and traditional style with very attentive staff that were always happy to help.
Air con went off during the night so was a little too warm.
Excellent Location High Overall Quality Kind Staff Quality-Price Ratio Breakfast was good Rooms were big and comfortable Everything was clean We left very satisfied
In one of the two rooms we booked, the air conditioner was a bit noisy. No hotel parking but due to the hotel location, in the very center of Florence, it's not really the hotel's fault, there is just no way to build a parking there (on the other hand, Private parking is available with valet service, too but it doesn't belong to the hotel and it's a bit pricey, almost 70€ for two days; again, not really the hotel's fault)
I reserved this place for two reasons, they advertised AC, and in room wifi. You had to ask for the AC to be turned on, and it would automatically shut off around 3 or 4 in the morning. When it was on it barely worked. The wifi in the room was nonexistent, it seemed to only be available in the common areas.
Staff were extremely helpful and location was convenient.
Breakfast was very average
You need to call (!) the reception to activate airco: this is too bizarre to be true.
Very clean, good location, within walking distance of the train station and the Duomo. In spite of the hotel being on a busy street, our room was quiet (on the back of the building)
You need to call reception to have the room AC turned on - which they do promptly. The wifi signal did not reach our room (but it was a quiet one!)
Excellent location that is in close proximity to major attractions and amenities, very accessible and easy to navigate. Very satisfied with the service provided by the friendly hotel staff, both with hotel requests and detailed tourism information tailored to your needs and preference. Breakfast and wifi are well provided for and the hotel room is cozy and comfortable. Will highly recommended it to friends.
Close to train station and the center
Centralized air condition stops "automatically" in the middle of the night unless specifically requested. I learned this after waking up out of the summer heat mid-night and this is not nice at all.
A good clean hotel in a good location and a good breakfast. The staff are very good and the Asian guy in particular was always calm, friendly and efficient and could mentor some desk staff in other hotels we've stayed in. The Wi Fi was only available in the common areas upstairs and ground floor but otherwise good.
We are spoiled by having Wi Fi in the room so that definitely would have been better but wouldn't stop me staying there again.
Close to downtown , walking distance to all the hotspot.
Wifi is very slow, the room we stayed has no wifi connection, we have to sat in the lobby in order to get the internet access.
Close to the railway station and main attractions
In general all was very ok
Very poor Wi-Fi, nearly 0 signal, please add one more modem to the second floor, that cost nearly nothing on these days.
I was happy to find a family room big enough for our family of five and at a reasonable rate.
My daughter and I enjoyed the warmth of our accommodating staff. The hotel was charming, clean, comfortable. Breakfast was delightful. We enjoyed the bustle of the street location and the wonderful nearby restaurant experience. And the name of the hotel is terrific!
Location, friendly staff in reception
Bathroom was not in good conditions
