Free WiFi, Breakfast Cleanliness Room comfort Location
Bathroom to be redesigned: - No space / shelves for personal goods, - When you take a shower, all the floor gets wet
Helpful staff Convenient location
Wifi didn't always work
Location excellent. Breakfast good!
Shower was broken the room furnitures very old and the whole building old with old carpet
Great location, really good hotel
Staff were a bit too stiff
Is a good hotel that's greatest asset is its location !!!!! If maintaining prices at these levels ever again in this.
Chose this hotel for its location, in the city centre beside the last stop of the local bus from linate airport to San babila. I paid 140euro which I thought was fair for a good 4 star hotel, until I walked into the room 602... On the positive note, breakfast is very good and wifi internet works well.
On the negative, room was very outdated, carpet needs to be changed, as it is probably as old as hotel (I would guess 30 years old!) toilet, although clean, looked like a toilet from world war II time. Definitely the oldest looking hotel room in my entire business travel experience, and not cheap either. I would have not been happy to pay even half the price I was charged. Sorry, not really worth it. Cant recommend. And heating / conditioning are is not controllable from the room, our room was too hot.
Staff very friendly
Good location, very clean,good breakfast
Very very old style inside. It needs urgently a recover, it look's like to be in 1970.
- Location - Breakfast
- Needs renovation, too old-fashioned - Wi-fi is not working properly in the rooms (we were 6th floor)
the hotel was nice
Location was excellent. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. The restaurant was excellent! We were meeting up with a group of food and wine experts after our visit to Milan, and the Hotel Galileo food and service overshadowed the rest of our trip! The bar was comfortable, welcoming, and fun. The Staff was professional beyond expectations--from the front desk to the breakfast and dinner service to the cleanliness of the room. All were accommodating, professional, and friendly. We would certainly return when in Milan.
Great location, friendly helpful staff
The Galileo was very clean. The food choices for the breakfast menu was wide and varied. The breakfast staff were excellent.
Our room was too warm. The air conditioning had been turned off. Could not figure out how to make the room dark or until we figured out how to operate the room darkening shades using the switch near the bedside lamp
perfect in every thing.
they need card service for rooms not one old key only for each room !!
1 Location - 20 minutes on the No73 bus direct from Linate (€1.50) to within 150 metres of the hotel and close to Metro2 direct to MiCo Congress Centre and Cadorna station. 300 metres from Duomo and fashion district shops. Huge savings in taxi fares! 2 Staff - all very welcoming and helpful. 3 Bar and restaurant, very pleasant. It had the impression of a family-owned business, not a chain. 4 It will be first choice when I go back.
My room was very comfortable but it's an older property and the furniture is perhaps a little dated - if you want somewhere flashy to impress your colleagues, this is not for you. Everything was in very good order, very clean and rooms were well equiped as you would expect in a 4* hotel. You might want to ask for a larger room than I had (411) if you are two people staying longer than a few days.
Breakfast very good and service good
breakfasts were fantastic and staff in brekky restaurant were also very attentive. Staff at front desk ok. Great location. Rooms good but pillows hard as rocks. Cost too expensive for what it offers.
Wonderful stuff and facilities. upgraded my room the lobby is nice and comfy
The bathroom floor has cracks and the bathtub was not clean to encourage me to use. may need refurbishment as it seems to have quiet old fashion decoration, and lighting to be one of the best hotel in the city.
Hotel was good, breakfast was nice. Location was perfect
Our room had one small problem The AC in our room wasn't cold enough but overall the hotel was good
location and transportation are excellent
nothing yet, maybe wifi re-connection is not necessary for asking loggin again
Excellent central location. Staff friendly, very helpful and efficient. Hotel price very competetive for Milan. Hotel was spotlessly clean.
No stairs (other than emergency ones) so had to wait for lift every time even though only on 2nd floor. Decor a tad dark and dated - hotel could do with a facelift. Bed and pillows on the very firm side - ok for me but the wife found it difficult to get a good sleep.
Location is the best.
Renovation is required long time ago.
Close to the city centre. Staff friendly and always very helpful. The standard of the catering was good and the food was well presented.
Limited choice of main courses on the dinner menu. The menu did not change day by day.
It was so close to everything, the breakfast was great and the room was so roomy. It was actually a room with a living room with a sofa bed. There was free wifi which was a huge plus.
The fact that I only stayed there for 3 nights!
Malpensa Express train from the airport to Cadorna station with a taxi to the hotel was easy and better than driving into Milano (our opinion!)
