supportive staff and compact Italian style room
hard to use old fashion heating machine.
The people were lovely we arrived early and they let us check in. Great location near tower and river. It had a bright airy feel to it. The hotel itself is nicely decorated with reception room overlooking a beautiful courtyard. We are vegans and there is a vegan restaurant/take away 50 yards away in fact you could see it from our window. They had nice smelling soap and there were some nice room and hall smells, not quite sure how they made it smell as I could not see any pot pouri. The staff let us wait in reception after checking out and let us use the toilet. All the staff were polite and friendly. The staff made you feel valuable and that they wanted you there, unlike when we stayed in Al Giglio Bottonato in Florence where we felt we were and inconvenience and nuisance. I would recommend that anyone stay there.
The two single beds put together instead of a double bed made it an uncomfortable nights sleep.
The suite is big, clean, and comfortable
The wifi signal was a bit weak
Excellent location Friendly staff
Outdated furniture Not that clean
Staff were lovely and couldn't be more polite and go out of their way to help. Beautiful decor and the rooms were beyond massive.
The room we had was a suite at the front of the property so was on the side of the road. No temperature control in the room meant that we had to have a window open which was noisy. Still great value for money though.
Historic building in the od city
fantastic location, 5 minutes walk from the tower, 10 from the central stations; very, very hekpful staff, especially the receptionist whose name unfortunately we didn't get - there was a problem with the first room we got, she made sure we were moved to another one, which we loved! As our plane was in the evening, we were allowed a late check-out for a very reasonable extra fee - very appreciated!
the first suite we were given (on your left coming from the reception) lacked some furniture, it could definitely use an extra chair or a sofa (as it is, I would say it's a very big double room, not a suite with a proper sitting area), and most importantly, at least one shelf in the bathroom! The heater was not working when we came, this was fixed, however it continued to make noise, therefore we were moved to the other suite, much nicer!
Staff was wonderful! Helped give us directions for restaurants and local sites to see. Spoke great English! Large room and decent bathroom. Great area for night life and close to the main attractions. I would stay here again!
Mattress wasn't comfortable. Not a 24 hour reception area.
Francesca was the best ... she gave direction to wonderful places in pisa which are easily reach by walk. Room was very spacious, clean and smell fresh, we really feel like at home
An incident caused by our own fault
The staff were friendly and helpful
Basic accommodation, not altogether clean with broken bathroom facilities
Receptionist stayed late to welcome us. Gave good directions in very good English. Was extremely close to the tower.
1. Stuff. They waited 1hr more in the night to checkin. Behaviour was excellent.
1. Bed is not good. 2. In bathroom, hot and cold water mixing didn't work.
very good location, 5 min walk from the leaning tower staff very nice & helpful
the room had its window towards a side street which was very noisy street at night
On the street to Leaning Tower. Staffs are helpful
The building looks a little bit old and dusty.
Very good price
Air conditioning- none
The location of the hotel is in the old town, a short walk from the Tower area, with plenty to see nearby and lots of great places to eat. The hotel itself has a lot of character and style with a lovely lounge area. Our room overlooked the street and had a beautiful painted ceiling.
The wifi strength could be improved.
The hotel was a beautiful old historical structure in a great location of town - just a short walk to the Leaning Tower. My room was very spacious and the bathroom had been nicely renovated. Staff was very helpful.
The hotel is actually on the second floor of the building - with no elevator, so it's not a place for anyone that's handicapped or who can't do stairs. The staff was very helpful with the bags, however.
Private key to one of the old doors in the centre of the city, made it feel as if we lived in Pisa. Great breakfast place over the road. Spotless and dignified room with all basic amenities
long flight of stairs up to first floor and no lift. Not for people with mobility problems
Well located. The bedroom and the bathroom were quite big, compared with other places I have stayed in Italy.
Lack of light (only two small bedside table lamps and a bigger lamp that had to be switched off if we wanted the blower on). And the internet connection (that was supposed to be free and included in the room price) worked really bad; in fact, in my phone, the network was not even visible.
Good location Spacious rooms Helpful staff Cafe across road
Wifi signal weak in from rooms. On first floor and no lift so have to carry luggage.
The welcome was great and the staff more than helpful. Nice decor and very clean. We would definitely go back. Very good value and very pleasant stay. Location was very convenient to several parts of town that we wanted to see. The staff gave us a very good overview of the city upon arrival which helped a lot during our stay.
Room was a little dim at night. Wifi worked best in the common room. It was a bit noisy at night in our room from outside gaiety.
