Score from 149 reviews Very good
very good location, 5 min walk from the leaning tower staff very nice & helpful
the room had its window towards a side street which was very noisy street at night
On the street to Leaning Tower. Staffs are helpful
The building looks a little bit old and dusty.
Very good price
Air conditioning- none
The location of the hotel is in the old town, a short walk from the Tower area, with plenty to see nearby and lots of great places to eat. The hotel itself has a lot of character and style with a lovely lounge area. Our room overlooked the street and had a beautiful painted ceiling.
The wifi strength could be improved.
The hotel was a beautiful old historical structure in a great location of town - just a short walk to the Leaning Tower. My room was very spacious and the bathroom had been nicely renovated. Staff was very helpful.
The hotel is actually on the second floor of the building - with no elevator, so it's not a place for anyone that's handicapped or who can't do stairs. The staff was very helpful with the bags, however.
Private key to one of the old doors in the centre of the city, made it feel as if we lived in Pisa. Great breakfast place over the road. Spotless and dignified room with all basic amenities
long flight of stairs up to first floor and no lift. Not for people with mobility problems
Well located. The bedroom and the bathroom were quite big, compared with other places I have stayed in Italy.
Lack of light (only two small bedside table lamps and a bigger lamp that had to be switched off if we wanted the blower on). And the internet connection (that was supposed to be free and included in the room price) worked really bad; in fact, in my phone, the network was not even visible.
Good location Spacious rooms Helpful staff Cafe across road
Wifi signal weak in from rooms. On first floor and no lift so have to carry luggage.
The welcome was great and the staff more than helpful. Nice decor and very clean. We would definitely go back. Very good value and very pleasant stay. Location was very convenient to several parts of town that we wanted to see. The staff gave us a very good overview of the city upon arrival which helped a lot during our stay.
Room was a little dim at night. Wifi worked best in the common room. It was a bit noisy at night in our room from outside gaiety.
Reception looked clean. Was in a good location not far from the leaning tower.
When we arrived, we were buzzed through the main gates into a covered courtyard. We were a bit bewildered until I noticed some stairs to one side. We had to lugg our cases up the stairs (there is no lift) to the first floor. Here we were told I had been emailed 2 days ago to say they were double booked and could I find somewhere else. Having been in Italy already for a week, I had limited access to emails and so hadn't seen this. I had, however, seen an email 3 days earlier to confirm my arrival. Which I had confirmed. So I cannot say how comfortable or clean the hotel is, only that if you book here, don't be surprised if you end up somewhere else!
Everything. The room was beautifull, the staff was lovely, perfect location.
I can't find anything that i didn't like
Gorgeous historic building in lovely part of old centre of Pisa, fantastic staff, stayed up late for my flight arrival, very nice simple, tasteful decor. Very clean, has beautiful light communal rooms (hallways) you can relax in. Excellent, Would definitely stay again. Perfectly situated, very close to leaning tower etc, yet pleasantly just away from the few streets that are not so nice, due to being over-touristy. Gorgeous squares, markets, restaurants, bars nearby.
Nothing really. Located on first floor, so need to be able to carry bags up. My Room had a fridge which was very welcome, but no safe. No air con but was given a very nice fan.
Staff were really helpful and pointed out the main areas on a map for us and gave us a variety of recommendations for local restaurants
We had a nice and spacious room for the 4 of us. The staff is very nice and suggested very good non-touristic restaurants, which we enjoyed. If you're coming with a car, they provide you with a parking ticket, and you can park down the street, just in front of the hotel.
Very good choice. Location is ideal!
On that price, we think that there should have been breakfast included.
Very helpful staff. Great location.
Stairs, the room was small, No air conditioning, No chance for having breakfast, Very hot No english channel in the tv
Location fantastic Room spacious and authentic in a beautiful old building
Only staying 1 night
Who likes historical accommodation,go there without hesitation. The entrance hall was stinky of old air, but someone may call it "smell of history". I would prefer renovated floor( though in old style) because the used had approx 80 years... But, they tried to keep it clean, which was good.
Also, the toilet was not clean enough, I had to use the toiletbrush myself to clean the brownish plaque under the water level..and surprisingly, all went off.So maybe the cleaner just doesn't like cleaning the toilet.
Francesca was excellent and very helpful and welcoming
The bathroom could have done with a more thorough cleaning, especially the shower and the base of the toilet needs parazone or something to get rid of the stains below the water level. Also we were both eaten alive by mosquitos during the night, I would suggest warning the guests to keep the windows shut, but as there was no air conditioning this is difficult (perhaps netting or something on windows). The pillows were very hard.
Very friendly and helpful staff, our flight was delayed and they stayed open until 11pm to check us in. Great size room and right in the middle of town
The location is very good. Nice old building. Huge rooms. A very good bakery with exellent prices just behind the corner (the small street on the corner of the hotel, this street leads to the university). We paid 10 euro for 2 coffee, 2 tea and 6 different pieces of bakery products. Nice reception lady! Helpful.
Some noise from the main street at night.
We arrived late and they were great about meeting and greeting us. Just an overnight stop - also really helpful with calling a can
It was fine - pillows too fine for comfort
A warm welcome even though we arrived. Very late after a flight delay.
The toilet didn't flush well. The shower door was broken. No air conditioning and couldn't have windows open because of street noise.
