It is a central hotel and very close to metro station from where you can get to the city center. It has a nice view from the balcony (8th floor - executive room), very comfortable rooms and well decorated. The breakfast was very poor and unacceptable for the hotel standards! There was no wi-fi or free internet access (unacceptable for a 4 star hotel)!

Good location. Breakfast was very good. Travelling with a wedding group of 8 people. We were placed on a different floor than everyone else. We paid a higher price and had a very poor room on the 5th floor. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone mainly because we were treated unfairly. Most expensive room and poorest quality out of all the places we stayed while travelling in Italy.

The location of the hotel is in a good location. One can eat in the hotel or discover a small restaurant nearby. The room was a good size and comfortable and have a good bathroom. The bedding, towels etc were a good standard. The breakfast in the morning had a variety and was enjoyable. It is a hotel that has many large tourist groups come in and spread themselves all over any of the seating areas. This seems to especially be an issue when there are large groups of young adults with their bare feet on the furniture and sleeping on the sofas.

My "superior room" is very elegant; a good mix of good design and practical facilities. The continental breakfast offering is very health and tasty. The location is close to the Roman Forum and subway. Service was very professional. The front entrance steps--no luggage ramp.

I stqyed the hotel as a group overnight and continued three more nights for our own. The location was excelent for city tour. At the end of stay, we asked taxi for the airport, the front staff told me that the cost of going to airport was fixed price of 40 euros, other said it was 45 euros. The taxi driver said pointinng the meter it was not fixed. When we got the airport, he asked me to pay 50 euros which was the amount on the meter., and I payed that amount. What is the true story? What ever it is, the hotel staff should tell me the right thing. Please do not make me confused.

The lOocation was ok. Food. Unbelievable that one can have such a poor breakfast in the country were food is normally so good. The serving plates were very small, you couldn't serve even a salad and mix it. When the big plates were empty it took even 20 min for staff to refill. I find these issues embarrasing for an aledgedly 4 star hotel.

This is a great hotel in a wonderful location. The room was amazing, modern, clean and comfortable. It was a little hot at night, but opening the balcony door cooled everything down. I will stay at this hotel every time I visit Rome.

The hotel is located within 10 minutes far from Collosseo by foot and 15 minutes from Termini. Excellent view from the 8th floor. Polite and helpful personnel. Various breakfast. Paid and not always working wi-fi

The staff were very nice and the room/bathroom was very clean. The best part about the hotel is the location, 5 min walk to the Colosseum and everything else was in walking distance. Me and my Fiancée didn't take a cab the entire time we were in Rome. Pretty much no facilities and I thought charging for WiFi was a little ridiculous. Also on the site I read we'd have access to an iron but when we arrived they said they didn't have one. Still a good hotel overall though.

I loved the fact that the staff were very fluent in english and made every effort to make communication easy as we didn't know any Italian. I loved the location and it's proximity to everything - 5 minute walk to Colosseum and approx 10-15 mins walk to Termini Bus/Train station. It was also within walking distance to all the shops and Trevi Fountain, spanish steps, pantheon , etc. The dining room was also impressive and provided a wide selection of delicious food. The room was clean and had a safe in the wardrobe as well as a mini bar (maybe not in every room but was in ours and we didnt request it, we stayed in a standard room.) All in all I would definitely stay here again and also reccomend anyone visiting Rome for sightseeing, city break etc to stay here.

This is perfect location when I stayed in Rome, it is located in Centre Storico. There are some famous restaurant, bar just a few steps. Nice neighbourhood, as I find many small alley on the back side of the hotel. The ac was not fuctioning during our stay, they said it is the regulation when the fall/winter season starts.

I enjoyed my stay at the Pallatino. The room was bright and spacious. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was fine. The location is very good with lots of good restaurants around. I would stay here again. The only criticism was the shower in the room. The hose was too short to make showering comfortable

“Staff were very friendly and accomodating - they couldnt do enough to help. Great city centre location - we were able to walk to all the sights in rome and is very close to the Vatican city! However also great transport links through the metro very close by. Room was basic but comfortable - great for a city break in Rome.” Amy, Penicuik |
