Gardaland Hotel Resort  

The Gardaland Hotel did not disappoint - it is as clean and as nice as the photographs show. The staff (especially the restaurant staff) were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. The blue lagoon swimming pool is very clean, as is the whole complex. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this hotel.

The food in the restaurant is very good but is a bit on the expensive side - in saying that, we did eat there for the 5 nights we stayed at the hotel as it was very good. One tip is you can get your drinks included for an extra 5 euro per person, but you've got to ask for it.

Great hotel. Excellent food. Shuttle to the park to avoid the traffic in and out.

The hotel is not close enough to the park, and there is no shuttle back to the hotel after the park closes due to the traffic that makes shuttle service practically impossible. If you want to stay until closing, or even after closing while you can still catch an evening show or shop, you need to walk back to the hotel yourself, approximately 800 meters.

Very clean, very good breakfast.

Triple room has only two beds and sofa, which is not so comfortable. There is not bar in the room. There was a "nice" smell of fertilizer.

Rooms have bad oder. Dirty carpet, AC was not cooling, breakfast buffet has limited varieties.

To say that its 5 star hotel will be a lie, no water tea coffee available... You need to buy it from the provided vending machine outside. No slippers provided, hair dryer dont work... Bathroom supplies missing like toothpaste... Since you are far to get and buy it outside, i bought it from their own shop inside hotel.To say the least... I dont have any good to say...

Courtesy bus to theme park was very useful.

Internet was only available in lobby at a cost & the system failed throughout our stay. We expected 2 x double beds but 1 was a sofa bed. On arrival we were informed the computor booking system had failed & there was no record of our payment, we showed the staff our booking conformation clearly stating fully prepaid, the following morning we recived a phone call from the manager requesting us to come to reception regarding the payment, the manager wanted us to pay the bill again & make a claim for reimbursement on proof of payment on our return to the uk.This experience spoiled our whole stay.

Food / Drinks a bit expensive considering that it caters for families with kids

The staff was excellent and the facilities good. The children enjoyed the pool very much.

The evening buffet was expensive, given we were offered no other alternatives.

Conditioning was barely working. Concierge is not providing any services except for tickets to Gardaland.

What makes the hotel great is the vicinity to the park. By the way for same price you can afford a much beter hotel in peschiera del Garda. I suggest to get an hotel room with lake view in the near paeschiera rather than stay in garland hotel.

Comparing it to Disney resorts there in no animation at all during the evenings and the food is poor, then I do ot see any reason why staying in the resort. Peschiera del Garda is a much smarter choice since there is garland service bus to take you back and to gardaland.

Very nice "Disney like" hotel and great for smaller children. Free bus directly to Gardaland from the hotel was very convenient.

Breakfast room was like a busy trainstation, but someway naturally caused by the number of visitors during summer holiday.

Unfortunately, I was not satisfied at all this time, since this is my fourth stay at this Hotel. We were given two rooms with just a small window and when I complained to the receptionist(whose name was Derek) he was very arrogant and told me that that was my room and that's where I had to sleep. Besides, inside my room there was a spider web which had been there for quite a long time. I dont think I will ever go to this Hotel again.
