Hotel Gardenia & Villa Charme  

Staff excellent and very helpful with everything we needed. Location is very quiet with nice 15 minute walk by the lake shore into town centre. Town square and lake promenade are lovely places to relax. Local bus services 2 minutes walk and easy to get to Verona and up the eastern side of the lake.

We have recently arrived home from a weeks holiday in Lake Garda staying at Hotel Gardenia. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time and the staff at the hotel made it that little extra special. they were very attentive, friendly and nothing was too big or small. The location of the hotel is perfect, you could never tire of the ten minute walk into Bardolino. It is also in walking distance to Garda and Lazise. Public transport (boat & bus) is easily accessible. We experienced great food and drink, a perfect holiday and If we ever visit again we would definatly stay here.

fantastic value for money - very friendly & helpful staff - all spoke good English . Very nice buffet breakfast for Euro 9 / head - you can eat yourself silly . Very nice location just outside Bardolino - but easy 10 minute stroll along the lakeside to get to the old town , all restaurants & bars etc . Hotel very nicely located - includes a nice pool , and separate villa with spa facilities. Highly recommend .

The lovely 20 minute stroll along the lakeside into Bardolino, for some people, may perhaps be just a little too far to do it twice or three times a day.

The hotel was very relaxing and the staff made us feel extremely welcome and the service was excellent. The option to use swimming pools was very good.

The hotel has perfect location on Bardolino. The excellent staff you can imagine is helpful all the time. This was my 2nd visit od Lago di Garda and the best holiday spent there. Perfect, wonderful and great. Thanks to Ricardo and Grace. Wow.

We have just come back from our holiday in Italy. We had the most fantastic time. Everything was perfect. The accommodation was fantastic. The best part of all was the family that runs the hotel. They are truly lovely people who go to absolutely any lengths to make your stay perfect. They always check to see that you are happy and are extremely helpful. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We will definitely be going back next year.

This was our third visit to the Gardenia, the first being in 2000. The Hotel has excellent friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are comforatble and very clean. The Gardenia has been well maintained and looks as good now as it did when we first visited.

The location of the hotel is a 15 minute walk from Bardolino centre; however, it is a delightful lakeside walk and we were very fit by the end of the holiday! Bike hire is available from the hotel and we cycled along the lakeside path to Garda and Lazise on two occasions (tip - avoid market days - very crowded). We found this preferable to taking the ferry which involves queuing and is rather expensive, even with a discount card. The hotel is smart, clean and comfortable (air conditioning much appreciated) and the staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Bardolino is a lovely town with dozens of restaurants to choose from - highly recommended! Transfers from Verona airport (c.30 mins) can be arranged by the hotel and this was good value.

All the staff were excellent - welcoming, friendly, helpful, hardworking, always smiling and very knowledgable about the local area. The size of the hotel was great for us - not too big. The location to the centre was great and easily walkable. Great to have a couple of swimming pools to cool down and made use of the hotel's cycle hire to explore further afield which was very enjoyable.

Our room had very efficient air conditioning which was just as well as for a couple of days of our stay the temprature rose to 42 degrees. The main thing that stands out was the frendlyness and helpfullness of the stall who were a delight.

Very warm welcome and was lovely to get a complimentory glass of Prosecco after a long journey. All staff at the hotel did their very best to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Overall very happy and would return.

A little bit too long a walk in to the centre of Bardalino. Rooms were quite basic but comfortable.

Villa Charme biedt veel comfort en rust. Modern ingericht en luxe voorzieningen. Personeel is erg vriendelijk, ontbijt geweldig goed en compleet. Men kan de fietsen erg veilig parkeren.

De website geeft een vertekend beeld mbt tot de lokatie die men boekt. Het hotel verschilt duidelijk met de villa qua luxe. De villa heeft geen internet en ontbijt. Dat kan alleen in het hotel plaatsvinden. De afstand tot het Gardameer (kust) en het centrum van Bardolino is groter als aangegeven en men moet een drukke verkeersweg oversteken.
