We found this hotel to be excellent. It was recently renovated and all furnishings were as new. The room was huge and very comfortable. We arrived very late and this was no problem. just a point that there is limited parking - small car is best. |

The room was a good size and comfortable. Breakfasts were varied, ample, and good quality. The hotel is well located near all the upscale shopping as well as historic districts. It would have been nice if there was an airport shuttle, even one that we paid for. Taxi ride to Punta Raisa is quite expensive from downtown Palermo, close to $100 each way. We could, however, have taken a public bus across the square but chose not to. |

We enjoyed very much the location of the hotel. It is located in the main square. In front of the hotel, the citysightseeing buses are moving. from the airport you can come directly to the square where the hotel is lcoated. There are buses directly to the central station from the hotel. Also, the breakfast is nice and the waiters are very friendly. Although there are so many costumers in the breakfast room, the waitress remembered that I took a cappuccino the day before. The balony door is not closing well. Therefore, the room is quite noisy due to the sounds coming from the square. We stay in a triple room but it took the hotel some time to bring us an extra towel. |

Location is quite good, parking is a plus. Coffe/tea facilities are presented in the room. Noise from the street, noise from the yard/parking, noice from the corridor. Metal room keys instead of plastic cards. Parking is small. |

The hotel had parking, breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and modern. Withing walking distance to many historical sites and shopping. The hotel sign was not easily visible from the street. |

The hotel is brandnew and impressing with its contemporary design in an old renovated building. The location is probably the best one can find in Palermo. The parking without fees a very relevant asset. The room was much bigger than expected ( I presume ca. 35Sqm) with a comfortable bathroom. The beds are large and most comfortable. Our room facing the main street was extremely noisy, with windows closed. Actually noise-proof windows are needed badly. Some clerks at the reception seemed to have a bad mood most of the time. |

The hotelstaff is kind and helpful, parking is convenient and everything is proper and clean. Big group of package tourists. Since I was traveling for business, I didnt like the rush and loudness of so many people around me during breakfast. |

Hotel Garibaldi Palermo is a good option in the city centre, especially for those travelling by car (it has a private car-park, free of charge for guests). Rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, well equipped. Our room had a balcony which was very convenient. Full American breakfast was fine. The hotel is quite difficult to find, even policemen on the corner of a nearby street didn't know where it was. To get there just turn right towards the gate just passed the well signposted Bar Ariston; carpark is in the backyard, entrance to the hotel in the basement. There is no free wi-fi. |

Front desk staff very helpful and courteous. Rooms were clean and decor was modern and well-thought out. Liked that there was a computer in the lobby for guests to use. When we were ready to leave, our car was totally blocked in by other cars and it took about 20 minutes for the staff to locate the correct keys and move the cars. However, parking in Palermo is a big problem and it was nice that parking on site was provided |

We liked the decor, the size of the room and the friendly staff, particularly the reception clerk who helped us to find excellent restaurants. The lounge area downstairs is perhaps too small for the size of the hotel. |

Central The car park facility was the main reason for choosing this hotel, however we could not always park as there was no space and had to find a space some considerable distance away. |
