The room was excellent and well cleaned....great location! And the staff was really nice...I recommend it
Bed is not firm enough, not suitable for those with back problem
Location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had arrived earlier than check in tIme but they cleaned our room next. Helped with the bags as no lift. Breakfast at the cafe downstairs was good.
1 st room, 1st night there was no area for the bags in the room but they moved us the next night
Located only 50m from Piazza di Spagna in a small street with no traffic noice. The staff in the recption was exceptionally good and helpful. The breakfast was served in a nice bar in the same building with very friendly staff. We had expected to be there among a lot of tourists, but we soon found out that this was the spot were the locals took their morning coffe/breakfast on the way to work.
The rooms, location, the cafe downstairs, Barbara and the others running Garibaldi Suites are always available for questions and friendly conversation. I can't say enough great things about the rooms. We have stayed previously at the Rapheal and Portrait Suites, the latter we were invited guests. I prefer Garibaldi over both!
One recommendation is to offer the guests a variety of pillows for example softer pillows. All the pillows were the same and too firm for me. They brought me a flatter one but it was too tiny and flat. Second, complimentary water for the first night is also a suggestion.
Although our visit to Rome was quite short, I would certainly stay at The Garibaldi Suites again. The manager and his assistant were so pleasant, helpful and friendly. Whilst our room was a little small, it felt more like a luxurious apartment than a hotel. It was really quiet, and we didn't see any other residents during our stay. Overall we had a wonderful experience. Rome is an amazing city.
A tea/coffee station would be a welcome addition. Next time I would like to book a room with ensuite bathroom.
the bathroom separated from the bedroom
The great welcoming and the very friendly services from all the staff. Home feeling in busy Rome.
location was great, staff friendly
very small room, no reception available the whole day. we arrived and nobody was there to receive us.. breakfast very limited
The perfect place to stay in Rome! Large room , elegant bathroom, very clean and tidy, very pleasant staff. The location is perfect. A home away from home .
The Garibaldi Suites are ideal for people wanting to stay in a small boutique hotel close to the Spanish Steps. There was kitchen facilities available for anyone wanting to make food. The room was beautifully appointed although our bathroom was across the hall. The bathroom itself was well appointed although the shower cubicle was quite small. We had a lovely stay and we fell in love wth Rome all over again
No lifts although the staff helped with our bags.
Loved the stylish décor and ambience, the friendly, helpful staff and the excellent location next to the Spanish Steps and Metro. Thankyou Radu and Antonio for your warm welcome, caring attitude and professionalism. A very enjoyable stay. So very glad we chose the Garibaldi Suites. Highly recommended.
There was not anything we did not like about this lovely property.
Antonio was the perfect host. Friendly, efficient and helpful. Great location, clean comfortable room. Enjoyed the historical link to Garibaldi. Restaurants and shopping at your doorstep. Walking distance to all the central sites. Breakfast at the cafe downstairs was excellent.
Spacious room, modern bathroom and comfortable bed. Friendly service on arrival. Excellent location just off Spanish Steps, close to nice shopping area and restaurants. Nice breakfast at cafe downstairs.
Nothing personally. There is one flight of stairs, which may be a problem for some travellers with mobility issues.
The location is excellent. All major attractions are within walking distance. There is a restaurant on site with great food and service.
Antonio and the team are extremely helpful and friendly. The team went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The room was a good size (especially for Roman standards), with a large bathroom. The location was perfect, with close proximity to all the great sites in Rome.
The breakfast menu was limited.
Room Location Host
Antonio was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were lovely and in a fantastic location- 300 metres from the Spanish steps.
Location is excellent. Very near to subway station. Many restaurants and shops are within a walking distance.
No lift. We had to carry our heavy luggages up and down stairs.
Convenient. Firstly is the unbeatable Location, it is right next to Spagne Steps, where the class shot was taken in the Rome Holiday. And the Metro station is just next to the he steps. Secondly, Restaurants, shops are all in walking distance. Thirdly, Breakfast is just down stair in the restaurant under same boss.
It is really small. The room is actually in fair size, but there is almost no facility, no hall, at least no air-con in the hall and no lift. Antonio is the best and warmest host I have met in Italy. He helps a lot and even carry the luggages to up stair.
Right by the Spanish Steps and close to all the good shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. The cafe downstairs owned by the same people is really great. The staff there treated us really well and the food and atmosphere is good. They even offered to pack a breakfast for us on our last day as we were leaving early.
In Rome you would expect the reception staff to have a reasonable command of English. Our receptionist really struggled with the language and often mumbled a mixture of English and Italian. We found it impossible most of the time to understand him. The key ring was broken and the keys kept falling off. When we asked for a new one he just squeezed it a bit and handed it back. Of course it just kept falling apart still.
Location was great, just a few steps away from Piazza Di Spagna. Rooms are elegantly designed and decorated by lovely owner and architect Barbara. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Garibaldi Suite. Barbara helped us find the garage nearby and also guided us to a lovely osteria in a nearby piazza. Breakfast is served downstairs at the cafe Doris owned by her family and it is a satisfying choice of breakfast menu. Barbara's mother Rita is also at the cafe, constantly smiling. We are very happy to have met them both and we are already looking forward to our next stay at Garibaldi Suites.
Amazing location, wonderful staff. So helpful and accommodating. Antonio couldn't do enough for you. Great value for money considering the location and the facilities. Suites are located above a lovely bar/coffee shop/restaurant. Breakfast was gorgeous and also enjoyed a fabulous dinner there as well as numerous coffees and aperitif. A very special place that we'll never forget.
Loved the location and simple but stylish decor cafe downstairs was wonderful with great staff felt very welcome in a very touristy part of town which can be hard to achieve when you have so many visitors everyone was really helpful loved this place
Dragging suit cases up the stairs but this is not some thing that would be a problem as the staff just gave us a hand on the last day they helped us get a ca b From across the square.
The location of Garibaldi Suites is excellent. Walk out the door, look to the right and you were looking at Spanish Steps, it was just great. The staff were very helpful in every respect. Room was clean and well maintained.
The only aspect we were unsure of was that reception was unmanned 24/7. There was no one present of a night or on weekends only to check in and check out guests. What if something happened and you actually needed help urgently. Also, breakfast was very ordinary.
