Nowhere is absolutely perfect. Though this place comes pretty close, one or two tiny details (and they are tiny) would have perhaps made it so.. A waste bin in the bedroom as well as in the bathroom would have been nice, as would the ability to make toast at breakfast. For many the location by 2 ski lift stations (with a third being built) must be a big plus. Out of season though, this is not the case. The view is OK (though there are better views to be had in the village). However, my room, and perhaps most, are north facing, so in permanent shadow. Nothing much Manfred can do about that..
The room (and private bathroom) was modern, clean, minimally, but attractively furnished, well sound-proofed and with comfortable bedding. I had the best night's sleep I've had in a while. The breakfast was a particularly unexpected pleasure. Manfred clearly goes to a lot of trouble to provide quality ingredients and variety. I particularly appreciated the fresh fruit salad, the facility to boil your own egg and the quality of the bread and prosciutto ham. I have stayed in maybe a hundred hotels, B&B's, pensions and hostels over the years. Some 4 star hotels at more than twice the price are not as good.
