Having to leave!
Sometimes you stay at a hotel that is somehow more that a hotel, it is a life experience. This was one of those places. Our host, Alex, literally welcomed us with open arms and did everything possible to make us comfortable during our stay. The art was amazing, from the folk art in our rooms to the woodcuts on the exterior, we were enchanted. There is an outdoor rabbit in residence named Jemma who was sharing her hutch with convalescent baby birds, Alex saves and rehabilitates wildlife, too, as well as being a paragliding instructor... And his family, despite their lack of English, always went out of their way to make us feel at home. The breakfasts were big and yummy, the beds were incredibly comfy, and the views from the balcony were stunning. We were there in early July, the off season for this little ski resort, and were amazed at this place. I'm can't wait to go back again!
