Attentive and helpful staff, lovely location, good breakfast, nice swimming pool, fantastic view. One does have to realize this is a budget hotel! You certainly get the most value for your money here. Totally recommend it!

Noisy rooms on the road side, and one can hear neighbors - for me it was not an issue, but some people might have a problem sleeping.

Very good family-run hotel with warm atmosphere. You really feel like a guest at somebody’s home, not like in a hotel. Everybody is always ready to answer all your questions and recommend the best places in Ischia. You don’t need to address tourist agency, just ask at reception. Rooms are simple and cozy, very clean. Depending on the room type you can also have big terrace (shared with neighbor room) with sun-beds. But please pay attention that all sea-view rooms are overlooking the road that is near hotel. It is main Ischia road and quite noisy. Actually, you can hear traffic even in a room, though it is not so loud. Breakfast is very good – just ask for what you want in addition to what you see on the tables. Try dinner there: it consists of many tasty dishes and costs a little. I had dinner in the hotel five evenings from eight. I liked swimming-pool very much! It is in the inner yard near mandarin orange trees, with nice thermal water and comfortable temperature - such a pleasure when you stay in Ischia in April. As far as I travelled around the island during the day, I don’t know how many people are near the pool at the daytime. But before breakfast and before dinner there were just a few or nobody. If you travel by car, there is a parking near the hotel and you can easy reach Ischia porte, Casamicciola and Lacco Ameno. It is not comfortable to walk to these towns as you need to go along the main road. Bus stop is just a few steps from the hotel, great if you plan to discover the island using public transport (like I did). But buses in Ischia don’t go so often sometimes. Summary. Good value for money. Great if you plan to travel around the island by car (or even by bus).

Extremly friendly family runs the hotel which cares for everything. The hotel has a great pool with warm thermal water. Breakfast is very good, offers a lot of varities (eggs served as you wish) and is usually served at your table. In fact, the breakfast can compete with hotels that have more stars. The hotel complex is well maintained and offers a private atmosphere. Rooms are also nice and offer a large terrace or at least a fine balcony.

Rooms are a bit clairaudient. The rooms with seaview face not only to the sea but also to the main street (but that does not matter if the windows are closed).

Wow, best placed I stayed all vacation. Family run hotel and the staff could not do enough for you. They were attentive to you every need, kind and generous. I had a few bad experiences in hotels in Italy before but hotel Gemma and mainly it's staff made up for this. And such good value for money, great breakfast, great hot spa. Thanks for a great stay!!..

It has a very nice out-door pool and serve delicious croissants for freakfast. The view in the hudge terrace was adorable.

Coffee served in the morning from the machine was awfull so if you wanted to have a cup of nice morning coffee you had to buy it separately. Double bed in the room (just simply put together two single bed) somehow managed to separate - hate that.

The value for this hotel was fantastic. The breakfasts are very good and the service is impeccable. The views are spectacular!

first of all, very freindly staff. from the moment of our arrival, we felt very welcome. It was good location, not far from one of the few thermal parks. They served a very good dinner at the hotel. Clean rooms. If there is a chance to come back to Ischia, I would be glad to stay in this hotel again

A small fridge in the room would be nice to have. TV set was so tiny, we did not even attempt to turn it on even once

Excellent helping staff From some rooms called "without sea view" you can see the sea, the bathrooms are with bidet. Two thermal pools and a lot of place for sunbathing, nice garden around the hotel, very good lunch and dinner. If breakfast seems scarce to you, ask waiter about hot dishes, it's included. Near to the bus stop and not far from thermal park and private sea beach with several thermal pools and sauna. A small shop across the road where you can buy water, wine, friut etc. Free car parking

Thin walls between the rooms A bit far from seafront and municipal beach, you can go there on foot but back it's better by bus, the hotel is on the hill

La tranquillità

Superbe vue sur la mer depuis la terrasse de notre chanmbre, accueil très sympathique de la famille gérant l'hôtel, belle piscine à 30°, situation proche de l'arrêt des bus, de Casamicciola et des thermes de Castiglione. Bon petit-déjeuner.

Es un hotel cömodo, la atencion es buena, y el precio es adecuado puesto que dan un desayuno abundante.

- sehr günstig; - sehr freundlich und entgegenkommende Bestizer; - Zimmer mit Meerblick (ohne dieses für extra-Geld gebucht zu haben); - nicht weit vom Hafen;

Mein Sohn hat eine Art Spinnenläufer in unserem Zimmer gesehen, der ihn total erschrocken hat und für unruhige Nacht gesorgt hat.
