Hotel Genesio  

The room price is comparatively low during the fashion festival 2011. Room size and hotel location is fine.

Very old decorated and lack of maintenance. Pictures on the website should have been taken many years ago. No lift and dark stairs. The toilet floor will become flooding and wet after bath. No choice breakfast and even no toast. Soundproofing is bad.

Great location - just a short walk to the historical centre of Florence, and main train station at walking distance. Clean rooms and friendly host.

Very unconformable bed. The bed-frame does not hold the mattress properly and after 15min you end up sinking into the hole in the middle. Changing a room did not solve a problem. Room itself - small and simple but clean. Bathrooms very tiny!

I like the fact it was central and near transport ie Bus terminal, train terminal.Also close to the city site and shops

Lovely staff, very central and clean. I got a really good price through my travel agency. I would have enjoyed tea/coffee facilities and access to some ice. The lack of an elevator was also a problem since most of your guests would have luggage.

I loooooved the staff! The boy at the reception was really amazingly helpful and nice. The location of the place is really good, walking distance from everything. The rooms were very simple but clean and towels were changed daily.

The hotel did not have a lift so dragging the luggage up the stairs was not fun. One night I woke up because the man at the reception (probably the owner) was yelling on the phone in the middle of the night - my parents woke up because another guest was screaming through the night. So the walls are probably paper thin... Be sure to bring ear plugs, just in case. Also, no hair dryer. The breakfast was very modest.

i didn't like the bathroom it was too small. the shower was on top of the toilet. but it's not too bad if you are not expecting for luxury.

Hotel barato, porém sem elevador, subir dois andares de escadas com malas é bem complicado. Café da manhã bom e atendimento educado.

Su ubicación: muy cerca del centro histórico y de la estación central, el trato amable de su personal, el desayuno bastante aceptable (menos su café...), buena relación calidad-precio.

Ningún baño dispone de plato de ducha y la luz del baño era escasa.

Solamente la ubicacion, del resto ni siquiera lo llamaria hotel sino motel de camino, es muy malo.

Todo, el hotel no me gusto para adsolutamente nada, ni ganas me dieron de usar el bano y en la cama la forre con mi ropa limpia para no tener contacto con ella.

Lokalizacja blisko centrum - 10 minut pieszo. Miła obsługa.

Warunki skromne, ciasna łazienka bez kabiny prysznicowej, jedynie z zasłoną oddzielającą od muszli I bidetu. śNiadanie skromne, bez ciepłych potraw. Dobry wybór jeśli nie przyjeżdża się pomieszkać w hotelu, a jedynie w nim przenocować.

Комната небольшая, мебель не новая, но расположение относительно центра - хорошее, персонал приятный, соотношение цены и качества - релевантное

En mi opinión el Hotel Genesio es un alojamiento cómodo para una estancia corta, esta situado a 10 minutos (andando tranquilamente) del centro histórico de la ciudad y a 5 de la estación de tren. Destacaria del hotel su personal, muy amables que en todo momento están en la recepción dispuestos a echar una mano. Es un hotel sin grandes lujos, como corresponde a su precio, pero que recomendaría por su situación y su personal.

La ventana de mi habitación daba directamente a la calle XXVII di Aprile y el ruido de los autobuses, las ambulancias, los coches .... a ratos, se hacia insoportable.
