Just 325 ft from Genoa Brignole Station, the elegant 4-star Hotel Moderno Verdi has stylish interiors in an Art Nouveau building. A generous breakfast buffet is served every morning.

hotel Parking location.
Everything regarding my room and hotel staff was perfect.
Parking in upper lot very challenging to maneuver a car. Gates, narrow passages, doorbells to ring.
Large, modern room. Proper working place with an office-like chair and desk. Rich breakfast buffet and I had dinner one time in the restaurant and food was good quality and reasonable priced
The location is not cosy - close to the port area and with a highway just outside and in very dark and unsafe in the night time, but only about 500-700 meters to the city center/main station
STAFF EXCELLENT ENGLISH AND VERY HELPFUL LOVELY BREAKFAST AND LOVELY ROOM VIEW OF PORT
dirty bathroom (the doors were covered with something red), parking extra paid.... breakfast extra paid... for 4 stars hotel??? location - far from the city center, to get to the center you have to go through strange area (not safe) and the worst - WIFI DOES NOT WORK AT ALL... will never come back... even for free...
Entrance to the parking place is a bit weird. Narrow and twisted.
No CCTV in the hall way Late response from the staff Bad security as my room was entered by stranger at 8 pm and staff so clueless and late response
The hotel was very modern. We stayed here because of the proximity to the port since we were leaving out of Genoa for a cruise. Cruise parking is right down the street from the hotel. Secure parking garage. Dining within the hotel. We had the family room, which consisted of a bunk bed and queen bed. Spacious for the three of us!
It was raining when we arrived. Parking was very confusing, but we were happy to have a secured, covered parking area. We did have to leave and reenter the hotel with our luggage because we couldn't find a direct route into the hotel. Would not have been too bad if it wasn't raining. Our floor smelled of weed as soon as we exited the elevator.
The hotel does not charge you for the pets that you have stayed with, it is very close to metro and bus stations.
I`ve made no negative observations.
This has been the best hotel we have stayed at in Europe. The staff went above and beyond and they were so friendly. When our cruise came in earlier than we expected, we stopped at the hotel to see if we could just drop off our bags and walk around the city. The staff offered to hold our bags and then told us that they cleaned our room first so that we could relax. And this was all within 40 minutes of us arriving. If we come back to Genova, this will definitely be the place we will stay!
The hotel is on the corner of a busy street.
Friendly and helpful staff Breakfast Sea View
The beds - most comfortable we had in all of Italy. The bathroom - loved the bathtub! Dinner was very good but buffet breakfast was ordinary.
Dining room was very sterile and lacking in character.
I didnt like the location and breakfast.
Perfect as a stop over especially if you are travelling with the ferry. Also a great breakfast is served daily.
Great view and fantastic breakfast
The room was large and comfortable( executive family) that overlooked Genoa port with a magnificent view. The food was very good
The car park was a problem as it was not suitable for our minibus.
due to the bad weather we were not able to visit Genova. the staff from the hotel is very helpful and assisted us to change our booking from Holiday Inn Genova to Milano.
no free wifi and parking fee to too expensive. and the city tax in milano is also too expensive.
The view from the room towards the harbour and comfort of the bed
Dinner at night was a bit ordinary nothing special
Complimentary bottles water.
Getting to Cruise Terminal - footpath very bumpy cobbles with roadworks. No direct route.
giant rooms, very clean, very kind staff, excellent meals
nothing to do around hotel at evening / night
View from Executive Room was excellent
Telephone did not work in fellow guests room. Request to have room with shower was not possible for my Grandmother
Very welcoming, very helpful, especially about parking - needed to sort quickly as tired after a long journey and the receptionist was very helpful - sorted in an instance. Excellent English. Good food and good selection for breakfast
The parking, the position, the quiet, close proximity to the Metro, the bathroom, all the facilities in the room, the breakfast.
Not very good main meal at dinner.
The staff was courteous and the rooms were nice.
Although there is beautiful country around Genova, the city itself was very disappointing. It is a dirty seaside port with trash everywhere and it was hard to access the waterfront. It is also hard to find the hotel using Booking.com directions. Keep going 1.5 blocks and look up for small sign.
