Hotel Serena is set within walking distance of Termini Train Station, which is just around the corner. The area offers many typical restaurants.

Score from 969 reviews Good
Close to Metro station and City Center. Safe but noise district. Stuff was friendly and tried to support us getting around.
Wifi didn't work well, breakfast was very basic, toilet and water facilities mulfunctioned.
Halal cafe and laundry services is nearby.
wifi is so slow.
what I paid and the location
the set up of the bathroom. It is a big job to sit down on the toilet and get up
the price I paid and the location
they way they set up the toilet is very inconvenient. I do not how a big person can sit down and get up easily
More than a good value for a reasonable price.
The hotel was very clean; Cleanliness in the room was made every day; Friendly staff; The hotel is near Colosseum (10 min walk) Good breakfast: (milk; tea; coffee; water; juice) butter; honey; croissants; cereals;
- old furniture
Bath room too small Not enough space between wall and toilet to place myself. Not if you are over 90 centimetres tall or less. Went to ask if we could we moved and we were told ALL Rooms were the same, this was a LIE! Asked for an out side toilet not one in the Hotel. I have to go to a Bar out side the hotel. Come back at 6 pm with pre booking in another hotel. We were told that will have to pay a penalty of one night, I repeat that could not use the bath room, I was offered to see other room, this one was better size, it was offered for the next day. This one had water accumulating on the floor and shower water coming out from a join, I mentioned to reception, nothing was done. DO NOT, NOT, NOT USE EVER THIS HOTEL. Not good for "Booking.com" to recommend this Hotel.
The lift is awfully slow and has no capacity even in winter time for providing the guests; stairs are not available. Chairs were disgustingly stained.
Very good location, the breakfast and coffee was very good, especially the services was excellent!
The mattress was too old, you can feel the springs pinching on your body. The shower is way too small, and the hot water only enough for one person's shower.
the best location and comfatable bed
cold bath water
Very good location, Free internet and value for money.
Not very modern, Friendly staff but difficult to communicate in english, simple breakfast.
It's near the station. Staff recommended a restaurant for us to have a pleasant dinner. Good breakfast although there's not much choices.
How can it be possible to use wifi in a shared lobby outside of your room? It is uncomfortable when my family including myself to stay in the shared lobby just to use the wifi.
Breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful. Location is perfect!!!!!
It was very close to the station which was good because we were leaving early in the morning!
The food, it was a typical Italian breakfast but it would be nice if they had maybe eggs or yoghurt or something like that.
Great location, within 10 minutes walk to Termini and metro station
Cleanliness of the hotel and room is Okay, but the towels are dirty. If you were expecting a comfortable and modern place to stay in Roma, stay away from this "three-star" one.
Price was good
Quad room to small
The waiter didn't allow us to have our breakfast on Sunday morning at 9:45, because she wanted to leave at 10.00, so she wasn't available to prepare a coffee. The room had many spider webs and it looked quite dirty and decadent.
twin bed was made of 2 beds put together, a lot of noise, making resting impossible
gruby rooms dirty paint on bedroom walls.
The location is near Termini station - so its really good than you have an extra time before your flight and you must leave hotel on 11 a.m. (we just drop our luggage in termini bagage claim and had nice couple of hours in town).Everything is quite close. District is ok. Breakfast was really good - coffee perfect, cruasans and bunds perfect too. Bed good, towels changed once a day, rooms cleans once a day.
Need renovation. Elevator is like in old soviet districts, walls a bit dirty, with some names or country writen by pen on it:))) - rooms need a bit renovation too. santechnic need to changes for sure.
Very near to transport, staff are courteous and helpfull.accessible place for many area.
Small and slow elevator, leaking toilet, stone like bread,un lit signage of the hotel.
My room smelled like tabaco, I complained to the reception desk but they didn't care, the bathroom and shower had mould on the walls, the bed was hard and horrible, the sheets and towers were extremelly old and the breckfast was very basic just bread butter and mermelade, no cheese or ham!. You also have to pay 2.5 euros per bag if you want to leave your bags in the hotel after you check out (including small carry on bags). The receptionist doesn't give you a receipt when you pay the 2.5 euros per bag which you have to pay in advance when you leave the bags (I thought it is elegal not to give receipts in Italy) I am not sure if this is extra pocket money for the receptionist or real business of the hotel...any way a respectable Hotel will provide this as a standard service at no extra cost...this has been the case of all the hotels we used in Italy and europe over the past month. Overal very very poor.
Near termini station
The best thing about the hotel is the proximity to Roma termini. Hardly 5 minutes walking distance. The hotel staff is also very helpful when one needs information about the city, travelling and eating options. They also don't charge any advance or booking amount. One pays the full amount only while checking out . Also the free wifi is an added bonus
The facilities could have been better, the rooms are small
Location , Location ..near to the station. Clean room, polite and helpful staff
