Big & charming room with a great location in Ragusa Ibla. The family running the B&B were realy lovely and nothing was too much trouble.

A delightful authentic italian palazzo with rooms on the second floor. Giuseppina, our host provided delicious breakfasts on the terrace which overlooked Ragusa Superiore. Kind and thoughtful hosts who were ready to assist with all our queries. Large, airy rooms with use of common terrace snd kitchen. Would certainly stay again and recommend to friends.

Lovely breakfast (orange salad, huge selection of bread, cakes, home made marmolade and every day some special Sicilian treat)! Lots of room and very convenient location in the middle of the old town. We had a kitchen to our disposal which was an added value. We loved our stay!

What a memorable stay! This is real Sicily, in a beautiful old house in the centre. Our hosts, Georgio and Giuseppina were so kind and helpful and Giuseppina spent a lot of time talking in Italian, great for me, about to take Italian A level! Each morning she prepared a special Sicilian treat for breakfast - superb. The little garden outside would have been lovely if the weather had been better. You won't forget your stay here- it is a really special place.

Nothing, but do be aware that the accommodation is up two flights of stairs, without a lift, so it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility problems.

We liked everything! The house is fabulous, the location fantastic, and the welcome and hospitality thanks to Giuseppina just wonderful. Breakfast was a splendid start to each day with homemade local specialities, accompanied by good advice if required on site-seeing. An absolute joy. Mille grazie, Giuseppina. Speriamo di vederLa l'anno prossimo!

Wonderful welcome from the owner who prepared and presented a fantastic breakfast with many Sicilian treats. Very close to the centre of Ibla but situated on a quiet street. If driving - on street parking can be arranged - check the location on a detailed map and mind the one-way systems. Easy though once you know where it is...

A special place that's great for exploring everything in and around Ragusa. The host, Giuseppina made us feel very very welcome. Her warmth together with the great breakfast -don't forget to try the homemade lemon jam!- made us sad to leave again after 3 nights. The house, a small palace really, is amazing and transports your back to the 1800s or so. The views from both the communal terrace and the two (!) balconies in our room were amazing and twice we took the vast amounts of Sicilian orange juice and coffee that Giuseppina prepared onto our balcony to read in the sun. Doesn't get much better than this!

We enjoyed the experience being in the historical center of Ragusa. We received a warm reception, and were directed to a parking garage! Our room was spacious and clean, the breakfast with home made jams was delicious. The owner was happy to share his family history and history of the home. We enjoyed our stay.

    Nothing, we liked it all.

Charming quaint old building. Room was huge and our bed was two beds put together as one, but comfy enough.(This is rather the norm in Italy). En suite was big also, but could do with a chair or small table to place things (like make-up bag etc). Breakfast was really lovely and the home-made jams (specially the lemon) is divine. I refused the very kind offer of taking some home to Australia because I thought it might get taken off us at the airport. It really was beautiful. Giussepina also made some beautiful little crepes one morning with fresh fruit salad and a little pudding another morning. Also omelettes. She is just so nice and the food kept coming. Having a little wash line right outside our balcony was very useful. The bus stop is not far from the B & B but Ragusa Ibla is hilly with lots of cobbled streets so wear good walking shoes. Both my husband and my brother-in-law left (expensive) items on two separate buses, but they were recovered due to the kindness and helpful nature of the country folk. This occured in Ragusa main and in Ibla. The townsfolk in both locations were just so helpful and went right out of their way to help retrieve the items. Amazing! Just before we left we got to see the main 'parlour' of the old mansion. Oh my goodness, I wish I had taken a photo for memories sake. It is amazing and beautifully decorated to tradition and the era of the building. We would definitely stay again if we ever get the opportunity. Very good value for money.

So many stairs - but hostess' son carried our luggage so that helped. However, too be fair, it is a very old building, so unsure if lift of any kind could be fitted. We could not find the remote control for the airconditioner so had to have windows open. Would make a suggestion that night lights would be a good idea as we struggled to find light switches on the stairways going back up to our room at night.

This is a lovely old palazzo in a beautiful town. The palazzo is well located. Our host, Giuseppe, was very sweet and attentive and made us feel like guests in his home. Our room was large and comfortable. Breakfast, served on the terrace, was delicious. The price was very reasonable.
