We loved our stay in Rome and the hotel gives our a very good impression. Very close to Vatican and Rome centre. I highly recommend.
Natasha was great. Actually everything was great.
Absolutely everything was amazing. The location, the room, the service in general. Natasha the hostess was unbelievably helpful and kind. Totally suggested!
no negatives at all
Great Location to Vatican & Metro, Staff very helpful, clean & quite, private patio, excellent choice for quality B & B
Quiet, convenient location near shops and restaurants. Easy to get to main sites on foot or by bus or metro. Very comfortable accomodation with breakfast and snacks during the day. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Giardino Segreto is within sight of the Vatican walls and lies behind an anonymous door on via vespianso. We were a party of 4 and had booked two rooms for 3 nights at the end of October, once inside you cannot fail to be impressed by the standard of the accommodation. Right from the decoration of the rooms, the quality of beds, bed linen, excellent towels and bathroom toiletries etc, all was of a very high quality as well as being exceptionally clean. Each room has a built in safe and it’s own small fridge, hair dryer, television and air conditioning if necessary. A nice touch was that on our arrival there was a complimentary bottle of wine and some crisps and nuts provided in each room. Breakfast is enjoyed in a delightful room provided with juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit, ham, hard boiled eggs, cheese bread and jams, and assorted croissants and pastries etc. There is a very efficient coffee machine that dispenses a variety of coffee types as well as a number of tea types available. Off the breakfast room is a delightful outdoor terrace which we enjoyed sitting out at in the early evening for a chat and a drink after a hard day exploring the various sights of Rome. As others have posted on here complimentary coffee and pastries are available throughout the day. Giardino Segreto is in an ideal position to access the Vatican Museums and St Peter’s Basillica literally only being a few minutes walk away from them. Other sites such as Castel Sant Angelo, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon in the old town are also within walking distance. For sites further afield such as the Collosseum and the Roman Forum we found using the number 81 bus from Piazza del Risorgimento was very easy. We would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Giardino Segreto and there must also be special mention of the hospitality provided by Maria and Natasha who looked after us exceptionally well and nothing was too much trouble.

Pretty much everything.
The wifi was a little bit slow.
Very friendly staff and owners. Very helpful. We could not have asked for more. Totally satisfied! Very clean and cozy. Location excellent! We shall return one day!
Good service, excellent coffee machine, Natasha very helpful with suggestions for places to visit and local restaurants, good continental breakfast. Access to drinks and snacks during the day. In a good area for restaurants and only two minutes from Metro and Vatican.

Great Location - Friendly staff - Beautiful Room
Me and my girlfriend had the pleasure of staying in il Giardino Segreto for four days! We absolutely loved the place from day one! Natasha the hostess greeted us when we entered and showed us to out room(il Colombo) which was just excellent! The room was beautifully decorated, with a big bed, a/c and a good sized bathroom with bath. Natasha was helpful throughout our stay, both with tips and with keeping some breakfast for us when we overslept! She did all she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible! The breakfast was classic Italian, with fresh bread, lots of pastries, fresh fruits, yogurt and cereals! IL Giardino Segreto has a great location when you exit the front door you can see the Vatican wall, so the museum and St petri square is close by! Metro is only a few minutes walk away aswell. Close by is also two fine restaurants which though not being among the best in the city still is far better than most. So it makes for easy and good food if you arrive late. I would not hesitate to recommend il Giardino Segreto to anyone going to Rome. It is truly an experience living there.
I cannot think of anything I didn't like.
A sweet, quaint, and adorable b&b right near the Vatican. The decor, the efficiency, the location were perfect. There is an attention to details that is incredible. Natasha, who runs is all, is incredibly helpful, kind and is the reason for the success of this b & b. If I ever find myself in Rome again I will definitely stay here!
I liked that the staff (both Maria and Natasha) was so eager to help us find places or suggest restaurants for dinner.. Also that we could help ourselves to some espresso, cookies or juice anytime through the day..the terrace was perfect for relaxing early in the morning or late at night before bed!
The location for the Vatican City is excellent, hotel spotless, staff were very helpful, the owner booked trips located restaurants and made us feel welcome nothing was a trouble. Ideal place to enjoy the eternal city. Dave and Lorraine

truly a secret garden, simply awesome, especially the backyard terrasse.
nothing negative to say
My husband and I have been travelling to Italy for the last few years, but this is our first time in Rome. Natasha actually made this trip so memorable to a point that we would come back and stay in this hotel. Natasha is attentive and so friendly, nothing is too hard for her. Rooms are immaculately clean and breakfast was great. I wish that there's one like you in every hotel that we stayed in in Europe! Jeff and Josephine
The staff were absolutely lovely, they went out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible and provide you with everything you could need. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the rooms were lovely and clean and the metro was just a minute's walk away. The location around the hotel had several restaurants and shops and felt very safe to walk around. A really wonderful stay!
We absolutely loved the staff. Maria, her husband (Charles?), and Natasha were very friendly and provided any assistance needed. They even helped us work out a ticketing issue for our flight. Great location, one block away from metro. Nice breakfast Great rates
Bathroom small, but adequate.
We had chose Giardino Segreto to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We had a fantastic time, the room was excellent as was breakfast, with refreshments available during the day. We were given excellent restaurant and travel advice spending a fantastic evening overlooking Rome at night dining out at a great restaurant.
Having to come home.
The hostess was very charming and welcoming. She informed us about the Roman neighborhoods, and we were glad to have followed her tip for a delicious dinner at a restaurant nearby. All areas of the B&B were extremely clean, and the room was very quiet with no noise from the street. Common rooms had air conditioning, which we appreciated in the hot Roman summer. Wi-fi was available throughout the B&B. Breakfast was good, with different types of bread and also eggs. Location was good, at 5 minutes from the Vatican and a metro station. At the other side of the street of the hotel there is a convenience store open until 11:00 PM (23:00).
