A sweet, quaint, and adorable b&b right near the Vatican. The decor, the efficiency, the location were perfect. There is an attention to details that is incredible. Natasha, who runs is all, is incredibly helpful, kind and is the reason for the success of this b & b. If I ever find myself in Rome again I will definitely stay here!
The location for the Vatican City is excellent, hotel spotless, staff were very helpful, the owner booked trips located restaurants and made us feel welcome nothing was a trouble. Ideal place to enjoy the eternal city. Dave and Lorraine

WiFi could work better
Everything. Natasha is very kind. She took care of us very well. Thank you
Everything staff, rooms, location everything 100% recommended
truly a secret garden, simply awesome, especially the backyard terrasse.
nothing negative to say
My husband and I have been travelling to Italy for the last few years, but this is our first time in Rome. Natasha actually made this trip so memorable to a point that we would come back and stay in this hotel. Natasha is attentive and so friendly, nothing is too hard for her. Rooms are immaculately clean and breakfast was great. I wish that there's one like you in every hotel that we stayed in in Europe! Jeff and Josephine
The staff were absolutely lovely, they went out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible and provide you with everything you could need. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the rooms were lovely and clean and the metro was just a minute's walk away. The location around the hotel had several restaurants and shops and felt very safe to walk around. A really wonderful stay!
We absolutely loved the staff. Maria, her husband (Charles?), and Natasha were very friendly and provided any assistance needed. They even helped us work out a ticketing issue for our flight. Great location, one block away from metro. Nice breakfast Great rates
Bathroom small, but adequate.
We had chose Giardino Segreto to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We had a fantastic time, the room was excellent as was breakfast, with refreshments available during the day. We were given excellent restaurant and travel advice spending a fantastic evening overlooking Rome at night dining out at a great restaurant.
Having to come home.
The hostess was very charming and welcoming. She informed us about the Roman neighborhoods, and we were glad to have followed her tip for a delicious dinner at a restaurant nearby. All areas of the B&B were extremely clean, and the room was very quiet with no noise from the street. Common rooms had air conditioning, which we appreciated in the hot Roman summer. Wi-fi was available throughout the B&B. Breakfast was good, with different types of bread and also eggs. Location was good, at 5 minutes from the Vatican and a metro station. At the other side of the street of the hotel there is a convenience store open until 11:00 PM (23:00).
friendly staff, she provided us good tips around Rome
Great location close to Vatican with easy access to buses and tube for trips around Rome. Hidden behind a big wooden door is a real gem of a b&b. Our room was extremely comfortable and stylish with wifi and air con. Breakfast was excellent and could be taken on the terrace. Our hostess was very friendly and welcoming we would happily stay here again and would recommend to our friends as an ideal place to stay and explore Rome.
We stayed at the B&B for an entire week. Natasha makes you immediately feel welcome. After a quick tour (the B&B is not big), we could enter our room and we even received a complementary bottle of champagne! Our room had a nice size and was decorated in a lovely way. It was always cool inside because of the airconditioning. The bathroom was clean and beautiful, though it only had a shower and no bath tub. Natasha provides almost the same breakfast everyday, but you have plenty of choices, so it never gets dull. Breakfast is from 8 to 10AM, but you are allowed to eat and drink from the breakfastbuffet throughout the entire day which has its obvious advantages. When the weather allows it (not too hot or raining) you can eat or drink on the terrace. Natasha is a lovely hostess who is prepared to answer any of your questions. She provided us with a map of Rome and when she was asked she recommended some good places to eat nearby the B&B. She helped us in any way she could to make our stay more pleasant.
Natasha was very helpful ,clean , nice cappuchino machine, the location is great ,very close to metro and to Vatican.
Bed was like stone very stiff , and for wifi you should stay behind door at entrance of room. only these 2 minus
Great location Outdoor patio Clean and neat room/ breakfast area
Room/ breakfast area a little tight for space but OK
Location was perfect. Hospitality was GREAT. Very helpful. Comfortable bed and peaceful nights.
Nothing everything was just as expected and more.
clean rooms, friendly staff, great location for the Vatican
need more coat hangers in the room
Very close to the sights we wanted to see. We walked everywhere. Natasha was wonderful and very informative. We would stay there again
Room was very small. It was only my husband and myself and we had difficulty moving around. Wifi was very spotty.
Location Cleanliness Helpfulness of staff Breakfasts Availability of drink/snacks through day
Great small place, different than most of the hotels I've ever stayed. Good location very close to the Vatican and walking distance from the city center; lots and shops and restaurants near-by, and also Metro station around the corner. Excellent Italian breakfast...espresso, prosciutto, orange juice, Nutella and so on, and you can enjoy it on the terrace. Also, coffee and juices are available all day long with no extra cost.
We really enjoyed the attention of our "carer" - manager Natalia: she welcomed us warmly first through email before we even arrived, helped us upon our arrival with directions to parking and with our baby while we carried luggage. She really makes it a homie place, with taking care of everything from booking, talking to guests in a friendly way, cleaning the rooms nicely, explaining everything about the city, goes out of her way to do extra things to make her guests feel wonderful. Our 1-year old enjoyed spending time with Natalia, running around the apartment, and playing together. The B&B also provided a much needed baby cot for our baby. We enjoyed meeting other couples at breakfast from Ireland, U.S., Italy, Holland. This place is definitely worthwhile staying if somebody is for a good cost/benefit ratio. When we paid 130 euro per night, other hotels closer to the center and even nearby for the same dates were starting from 250 euros per night and up. It's definitely the right choice if somebody is coming to visit the Vatican, it's right nearby it. The kitchen includes a small refrigerator, which has milk, juice, butter. Breakfast includes toast & butter, cheese, ham, fruit, coffee, tea. The access to these products is 24/7, so it was nice when our baby was asleep in our room we could spend time in the kitchen area, with wine, fruit, tea, cheese, etc. Although it's not in the immediate center, maybe 25-30 min walk to the heart of Rome, however, it is right near the magnificent Piazza S. Pietro, and it's a nice beginning of the walk into the center of the city.
The entire place is not so big, with a tiny elevator in the building, small kitchen area, might be a bit claustrophobic for some people. Yet, the space is enough for everything - breakfast, room, bathroom, and a nice little terrace.
The location of Giardino Segreto was very close to St. Peter's. Natalia, who runs the B & B, was extreamly helpful, friendly, kind, and a hard worker. Natalia made our stay an excellent one. It was a pleasure to meet and become friends with Natalia.
Highly recommend Giardino Segreto - not just for the location and access to transport but also for the great staff. Natasha was so helpful and made us feel very welcome. Also recommend eating at Vitto e Dina round the corner!
Excellent location near the Vatican and other attractions. Transportation very accessible. Enjoyed the full breakfast and decor of the rooms. Our hostess was excellent and very helpful.
