The location and the cleanliness of the rooms
The lack of free internet
Location Friendly attention Good breakfast
I liked that the hotel was central to everything in Prato and only a short walk from the train station. The buffet breakfast was great though I didn't really like the coffee. Some of the staff were really friendly to talk to. Rooms were a great size.
The tiny showers - especially the second room I was in had a curtain instead of a door so the water just leaked all over the floor. The 'American' coffee at breakfast...I just waited until I found a coffee shop that would do espresso.
Comfortable clean hotel, great location, good breakfast, reasonable price.
Room was clean, comfortable and cooled on arrival. The staff were helpful. The free parking is a short walk away, the pay garage inaccessible with my vehicle. Breakfast was uninspired.
Difficult access due to road works. Had to walk the cases from a parking lot some distance away.
Loved the location and very helpful staff.
Difficulty connecting to their wifi and this service was apparently not included
Very easy to go by train to Florence. Beautiful town. Very good breakfast.
It is not recommended to stay with a car.
Close to train station, ok for a night or two
Hey! Its the suburbs!!
The room was ok and more agreeable than what could be assumed form the photos. The acoustic is ok. The staff is nice but not particularly friendly.
The area can be noisy at night. The breakfast is every day the same and not very diversified. The wifi is not free.
The location was good. The space in the room for one person was more than enough and it was not too warm inside.
I did not like the hotel that they charge extra for the internet. Even outside of the hotel in the public square you have access to free wi-fi. They also used a heavy chemical substance to clean the bathroom. That made the room smell a bit harsh.
perfect location with views of the central square
I had to argue with the receptionist to get my id back -- after I had left it there for 20 min or so already. For whatever reason he was planning on keeping it with the excuse that he still needed to copy the data. I offered that I copy it myself so everything moves faster at which point he just went to the back and angrily brought it to me -- as if suddenly the need to copy stuff disappeared. And asked me to leave the keys when I was going out -- but angrily. Also, he asked me whether I could read latin characters -- after we had been communicating in English already for some time. I found the whole attitude insulting. Now I have to reveal that I am Bulgarian American and while in Europe I use my Bulgarian id only -- just in case someone decides to keep it for longer than I like... My US passport was safe with me at all times, and I don't really care if sth happens to my Bulgarian id. But as a matter of principle -- was I supposed to walk around Italy with no id the way he was envisioning it, not knowing about my second nationality? It was on the whole a freaky experience. Oh, and I had fully paid already at that point -- on checkin, at my explicit request, so this whole id thing was beyond me...
For the money the hotel was clean and fairly comfortable although a little out dated. The staff was very kind and helpful
Biggest problem is the bar outside of the hotel but right next to it. Full of dodgy people and you can see people exchanging stuff right outside the hotel's door. Not comfortable walking outside at night. A shame because the plaza has potential.
The nice place is run by a warm family and some staff. and they are so kind and make you feel welcome , which every part of the world you are from. they have a small mini bar which is not so expensive and comes in v handy when u feel like picking into something. A small business room which they offer u if u want to work while u wait for something.. Such jestures are awesome.
the rain outside the hotel ....but can i blame them for it not at all
Everything! Staf adorable and the mama make a very good cofee
Rien... Peut être le bruit du bar en bas qui doit gêner en été le week end.
Very helpful staff, with great location to train and Laundromat and main town. Excellent breakfast
WiFi in this modern age is a must, extra cost was a hasle
fantastic location; great value
breakfast selection could be slightly wider
Very good position close to the Duomo and within sight of the Porta al Serraglio Station so perfect if you have luggage.
Charging for Wi-Fi seems totally unacceptable to us- it just creates a penny-pinching impression and even buses now offer this as a FREE service! Breakfast was just about acceptable for a 3 star hotel, but not to be listed as an advantage.
location, warm familiar atmosphere, service
breakfast very simple
The Hotel is splendidly situated on the Cathedral Square at the very heart of old Prato and a short walk from a train station from where you can be in Florence or Pistoia in twenty minutes. The staff are genuinely welcoming and competent. The breakfast is excellent with fresh bread rolls and spreadable butter.
location, price,family atmosphere,
noise from the street,mattrass
Hospitality and friendliness
The noisy café at the corner of the street at the back of the hotel, but fortunately sleeping room window was sufficiently isolated.
Great location, friendly and and helpful stuff. 5 minute walk from the city center.very well.
