room no quality, no wifi signal at all, nasty hotel and the worst place ever
Private room, nice staff. Close to Colosseum- 10 min walk.
Small and cold bathroom, where odour was unberable and ceiling under the shower started at 1,5 m height. Old buiding; heating was tunerd off during the night! Very cold room. No kitchen/ breakfast served in rooms. ''Double bed'' was made from 2 mattresses [big hole in the middle]. It wasn't comfortable at all. For this price I have expected more than I have got. No wi-fi; possible to use only the Rome free wi-fi.
It was near the Menzoni station. This was the one and only possitive thing in this hotel!!!
Well, three days before our trip, we were informed by booking that our last day will not be in this hotel (even if we had booked it three months ago) because it would be closed. This was a lie. It didn't close. The staff had overbooked it and they kept the biggest payments of this day. But, let's say that it was ok, as we booked another hotel with the help of booking for this day. The problems where all the other! When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told us (in italian language because he couldn't speak english) that we cannot stay there for the first night and we were taken in another hotel to sleep... on the roof!!! Yes, on the roof. There was something like a room, with no heating, clogged sink, no internet, no phone, no breakfast... and of course no elevator. (5 floors on foot!!!) We asked to speak with the manager of "Ginevra" but when the receptionist called her, we heard her saying that she didn't want to speak us and we should stay to the other hotel or else lose our money!!! The other day, we returned in "Ginevra", we met the manager and asked her for our money (for the first and last day). She said that our first day was paid (yes, this awful "room" costed 45 euros as we informed!!!) and for the last day she couldn't give us the money because it was from the credit card. Finally, I told her that I would call the police and she gave me back 15 euros. The other 35 euros she said that they were for the tax. When I asked for a receipt, she gave me one for 30 euros!!! But I have paid 270 euros plus 35 for the taxes. In these days we met another couple having the same problem. They booked there and they didn't have rooms by the overbooking of the manager. They asked for their money and they couldn't take them back. What can I say about the room? Dead mosquitos on every wall and we had December. This means that noone cleaned from the summer! Really bad room. Small and smelly.
In the corner there is the bus and tram stop that goes to Roma Termini. 3 blocks walking is the Manzoni metro-A station
Because they were overbooked, they tried to change us to a room in the basement for two nights. In this room, the bathroom was really small, the shower was in the middle of the bathroom without courtains and the toilet had no seat. You could be sitting in the toilet having a shower. We said no, so they gave us a normal room. Our final room had the bathroom full of mold, with an intense smell to it. The bathroom smelled awful, the roof was green full of mold. We had to open the windows everytime we entered the room to ventilate and be able to stand it. In adittion, there was NO wifi, not even bad signal, not at all. Even though they advertise as having it free of charge and on every room. Just awful.
breakfast delivered directly to room(when it was delivered). Staff was friendly.
room's bathroom didn't have the mirror(I had to look for one in the closet), shower was missing a shower curtain, always after taking one had to clean the excess of water on the floor. Free wifi was almost non-existant - really depends on which room you are staying in. I was moved after few days to another room - one floor below(after that almost couldn't use wifi). Also, I had problems with my breakfast delivered on time - one morning it wasn't even delivered - when I complained I was offered a 5 euro compensation. Also, there were problems with power sockets - too little and not very good working.
It is quite near to the centre, it is convenient to take the metro, bus or tram to visit Roma
The room is old and not clean. It is so terrible since the bathroom does not have the door.
good helpful staff
The hotel is near the metro station and very quiet. 酒店在地铁站附近，很安静。
very frıendly (and beautıful) staff, bıg tvş tall wındows- Pretty paıntıngs on the walls
no screens and had a few mosquıtos
it was cheap
heat and hot water only 5 hours/day (december month). 35-40' on foot to the city center dirty-cold room unfriently staff
good facilities, very clean and confortable
wifi didn't work
Everything - we were first taken to the basement where the bathroom does not even have a door and no TV, but the cables hanging from the wall. When we complained we were taken up to a loft, 57 steps, to a room with an outside bathroom, no toiletries and no wifi. Receptionist refuse to give his name or call his boss. In the end we called in the help of the police who forced the manager to organise other accommodation. Then we had to go back to collect our money as it was deducted twice form our credit card. I would like to know where they took the photo on the website as I did not see it in the hotel. I would love to post the photos I took of the room that was offered to us. Scandalous!!!!! How can I get my pictures to you?
Nice staff and good location. Close to the supermarket.
Room with a bathroom has the bathroom on a corridor (next to other room)!!! There was mildew in the corners of the bathroom.
My bed was so uncomfortable and was two single beds punched together to make one. The pillows were so hard I used the spare blanket as a pillow. The ceiling of the bathroom was covered in mould as was the shower curtain making the entire room smell awful. Wifi connection was poor at the best of times and I had to sit in the stairwell to access it.
quite place.very good location near to the centre.friendly stuff.
small bathroom.bad internet connection.
The location was great, just steps away form a supermarket, bus, tram and metro stations. Price was also good.
Mosquitoes in November was a shock and kept us up all night. Paper thin walls let us hear the next door conversations/ Tv all night. We could also hear the trams and the traffic pretty clear. Bathroom drain smelled really bad eventhough it was located outside the room. There were no toiletries in the bathroom. Room contained a Tv, bed, chairs and a closet. No coffee or tea makers and no cups.
Close to Termini and metro connection. Close to the Colosseum.
The wifi didnt work in the room. The first stay I get a room without door on the shower and smelt fresh paint. Now I'm here second time (I booked in same time), I have a different room but it's worse than the first. Small and smell something strange, not good. The rooms are cold not enough the heating when outside raining and around 7 degrees. I asked the staff to change the room for me but not possible. I dont really recommend.
1. relatively cheap 2. relatively close to the center 2. clean and nice rooms
1. the reception is far from this accommodation - which is quite uncomfortable with the big bags 2. the staff didn't speak English
The staff were on the whole helpful and friendly, best thing about the place was its close proximity to the best Gelato Shop in Italy!!
The location was scary by night and a dirty back street by day. The hotel was run down and shabby. The walls were wet, bathroom moldy and cramped, the double bed was 2 singles pushed together with dirty mattresses, and breakfast was awful. This place looked better in the photos than it was. Wish I'd have spent more time planning our stay.
I stayed at the Annex with a friend for a week and the place is quite good. Beds are comfortable, rooms and bathrooms are clean and the breakfast is amazing. The lady that makes the beds and brings breakfast is adorable, to say the least. All in all, I would recommend this place to anyone and stay there again if I happen to visit Rome.
Completely smoked-through rooms, no fresh air, no Wi-Fi.
The hotel is far from termini. The Hotel doesn't has their own wifi but using the public wifi. Overall, the wifi totally cannot connect . The most irritating things is There's a lot of mosquito, the staff said they have nothing to help avoid the mosquito. Totally didn't get to sleep well whole night due to the mosquito. Toilet door was a problem too. Won't come back and won't recommend to people.
No wifi....bad area....dirty and small room...
Location is brilliant. Only walking distance from Rome's main station Termini. There are a wide variety of restaurants around and one of the best Gelato places just 3 mins away! Staff were very friendly and welcoming and they willingly rectified their mistake by moving us into a twin room instead of the small double which they gave us initially.
We had such a great time in Rome and staff were just awesome which breaks our hearts to say the following. Room was damp with mould mildly visible on shower wall and shower curtain. The air conditioning helped the damp smell in the room. We had to use a broken toilet seat. We did not complain about it but there was someone cleaning the rooms everyday which makes me unsure about how thorough room inspection is. We also had bites which made us uncomfortable. We are unsure whether they were from mosquitos or bed bugs but they were the main downside to an otherwise excellent and thoroughly enjoyable time in Rome. We would advise people to inspect the room thoroughly ahead of their stay.
Very handy for supermarket. Small fridge in room. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff and someone there 24/7.
Wierd bathroom, toilet butted up against shower cubicle. Shower did not drain properly and evidence that toilet gradually leaked clean water. Wifi kept kicking us out. Many TV channels but only one channel in English. Safe in wardrobe was not attached to wall and whole safe could be lifted out. No instructions for setting code on safe either.
