We were just one-night guests, amongst many others, but they made us feel very welcome and quite special. We will definitely go there again.
Bedroom was very hot, hard to cool. (But we all slept well)
Customer service, location & breakfast
The bed was uncomfortable, the rooms were a bit dark, and the bar in the lobby was uninviting with old and worn out furniture and decor.
The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was plentiful, location good
Pillows like bricks and too hot, had to turn heating off and open windows, electricity off when asleep or out so couldn't charge phones for long, only whlle getting dressed or undressed, no shower
This was a great holiday. We love this hotel very much and we are coming back indeed. We like the style of the rooms, the kind service and the breakfast rooms. Thank you for your kind hospitality.
This room was a low level room to the restaurant side. Unfortunately, it was a bit too loud in the late evening with respect to the restaurant nearby. However, we now that the rooms which are showing to the Patio are more quiet.
Location and staff
Its very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. They offered me the boots and it was very useful as we explore Venice!
Breakfast is cold.
I think its best hotel and have friendly personal
Conveniently located next to central railway station. Decoration looks a bit out dated. Water tap switch of shower fell off when turned it on. Receptionist was very kind and friendly. Wifi was ok but computer at lobby was too slow...
Great art Quaint bedroom deco Lovely breakfast room surroundings Good breakfast selection Quiet
You have to drop your key at reception every time you leave the hotel
Good location , friendly staff.
The customer service provided by the reception desk was top-notch and extremely helpful/thoughtful. A beautiful garden and great atmosphere. Good breakfast.
The water pressure in our room was spotty - burning hot one second, icy cold the next.
amazing location, very proffesional staff (very nice and helpfull manager), charming room, stylish design
The location is excellent.
The air conditioning does not work properly and, although the bathroom is ok, the shower place is too tight. Quite unacceptable for a 250 euros per night hotel, even in Venice.
location, staff, and beakfast -excellent! Shower was small, rounded, enclosed corner that some might find difficult. But very quiet and great staff, would definitely stay here again.
not worthy as four stars hotel，bad service
Location is perfect, close to everything but just outside the most crowded parts of the tourist trail. Staff were friendly and helpful, excellent espresso/cappuccino available on request (free) at breakfast if you don't like the weak coffee in the urn. When the hotel learned that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary we were upgraded to a superior room, where we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of prosecco and glass heart. Decor is Very Venetian, a bit worn at the edges, but full of character.
Could perhaps do with a lick of paint in some places. WiFi is a bit awkward, as you have to key in the code every time you connect, BUT (they don't tell you this), it's part of a system that is used by a lot of other cafés and restaurants in the city, so you can use the same password to connect to WiFi in other establishments while you're out and about during the day.
The hotel is in a good location for visiting many of the sights of Venice. It is also in easy reach of the Vaporetta stops.Despite being near to a busy area it was quiet at night. The Reception staff were very welcoming.
The air conditioning in the room was not very effective. Some of the furnishings in the room were a bit worn. Sometimes at breakfast time some of the items were a little slow being replenished. Whereas the bar staff were very pleasant, there wasn't always someone serving at the bar.
A hotel that reflected a real feel of Venice. Location is excellent.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Wi fi was a bit unpredictable. Not a problem if you are truly on holiday but could be a nuisance if you had to keep in touch work wise
Like everywhere in Venice, difficult to find the first time but easy after that. A very elegant hotel with tiny pool (likely never used) in courtyard, huge breakfast, nice bar, pool table and very helpful staff. Compared to European hotels, our room was very spacious and had a nice view of courtyard and classic furnishings and storage closets. We had dinner at the GIorgione restaurant a block away - despite spotty reviews it was very good.
Internet is maddening - you have to put a code in for each device and re-enter it every time your reconnect. Seems to be a Venice-wide system but makes it a royal pain - not suited for business travellers. A bit of a hike from the nearest Vaporetto stop but at least no bridges to cross. Venice is not for the mobility-challenged!
our room, the staff, breakfast room, location,
Prefer shower to a tub
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Amazing hotel. Was one of the highlights of our honeymoon.
There was nothing we didnt like
Bar available end of the day ,proximity to vaporetto - these are the reasons I would recommend.
Staff where quite ' cool' not particularly friendly - not a lot of 'we welcome you ' - in room ' rules ' were off putting - no food/drink to be brought in etc, although restaurant was closed 1 evening - note regarding pool , 'do not eat prior to using ' ! Etc more rules , extra charge €5 euro to use pool - the decor whilst rich with colour & Murano glass , walls need painting , linen tired- needs a freshen up .
Very central and in a quiet area. Very friendly staff and an elegant hotel. A real gem.
We stayed at the Giorgione as part of a European trip to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We were very pleasantly surprised to check in and be told that we had been upgraded to a suite at no extra charge. The room and the hotel were beautiful and the swimming pool was an added bonus, we even had it to ourselves! The hotel is in a very central location and we would definitely return. We also really enjoyed our meal at the hotel restauarant, which seemed equally popular with tourists and locals.
