Beautiful hotel. Staff is very friendly and they even gave us a double room upgrade when we arrived! Lobby area and breakfast room are very elegant. Loved the location!

We were upgraded when arrived at the hotel and the suit we were given had a roof top garden which was lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Was in a fabulous position for seeing the rest of Venice.

Good location. Very friendly and professional staff. Wifi in the rooms (they must have upgraded their system since previous reviews). Rooms are luxuriously decorated but relatively small.

Coffee at breakfast wasn't good - if the hotel installed a quality coffee machine that would have been great. Also, some vegetables for breakfast would be great. Free wifi pass has to be requested every 10 hrs - would have been nice to get one for the whole stay. Nevertheless, these are minor things and the stay was very enjoyable.

Friendly staff, stayed up for us when we arrived at 1am. Decent accomodations, comfortable bed, clean room

Arriving at 1am because of flight delays, snow at airport - and wading through water that came up between ankle and knee on the streets. Try to avoid arriving at high tide....no fault of the hotel. We arrived feeling fairly miserable and boots were throroughly soaked with sea water. Next day was totally fine on the streets - no water. Amazing.

This was a wonderful stay in hotel giorgione. This hotel is the best way to visit bella venezia. Nothing to comlain. We will definety come back.

the hotel has an old world charm, shabby chic, breakfast was excellent, room<double> smallish but lovely bathroom, very warm, but windows that actually open. an excellent base, central etc, will be going back i hope and will recommend it to friens and family. excellent value. loved the afternoon tea!!! and when they realised it was my birthday we returned to our room to find a chilling bottle of bubbly, again thank you.

Olde worlde charm. Very friendly & helpful staff, gorgeous antique-filled hotel, Murano chandeliers everywhere. Only 10-12 min walk to San Marco the whole route has lovely shops & restaurants. Fabulous breakfast too!

Hard pillows! Very minor. Main thing I didn't like was having to leave !

It was gorgeous and the room was lovely and comfortable. The staff could not have done more to help. The breakfast was superb.

Staff, roos, lobby, tea-room, decoration - all a little bit oldfashioned, but stylish - historical and relaxing.

No paninis for breakfast in italy? This is a nogo ! coffee in the morning really bad, afternoon better....

The room was large, the bathroom well equipped and the furniture in old venice style.

The window overlooked just direct in an other building les than 5 meters far.

Internet access difficult.

This was our second visit. It's a charming place with dependable service. We like the location. The room decor is something else (loved it).

It's a little expensive, but so is everything else in Venice.

Lovely quiet and friendly hotel. Love how its of main area but still close to restaurants and aqua bus. Breakfast was fantastic. Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. Definately stay there again

Comfort, cool, breakfast

Staff were friendly, polite and helpful, rooms were clean and airy and had air conditioning. Design of hotel was beautiful, very old traditional Venician building with loads of charm and history, it was once a palace. The location was great for the Rialto bridge area of Venice with all it's lovely shops and bars, around 5 mins walk from the bridge itself. Bar prices in the hotel were very good as was the mini bar, both being considerably cheaper than bars in the area. Hotel has a lovely courtyard with a fountain which was extremely pleasant to breakfast in. Breakfast was good with combination of bacon & eggs, cheese & cooked meats plus cereal and numerous pastries, along with tea, coffee and fruit juices.

A fantastic hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and professional. The furnishings exceptional, fit for royalty - honest! Located in a perfect part of venice central to all the attractions without the hustle and bustle of being on the canal front. This is a perfect hotel for either a long or short stay. I don't think this hotel would suit a family or anyone with children though as it's a bit quiet and calm. Five out of five, a superb hotel in a beutiful location.
