Staff Location Price
poor wi-fi connection, poor hot wather sistem, to many stairs, no sign to indicate the place inside the building
il rapporto qualità / prezzo
The location to train station was important, and it was convenient for us.The breakfast was nice and the young man who helped us with our luggage was very nice. He seemed to have been very genuine and conversed with us at breakfast. Even though we did not know the didn't accept credit cards, they were accommodating and found a way for us to use our card.
The location was also a little run down, but it was a budget friendly place. The wi-fi was poor.
Location to Termini is good. Room had a safe. B&B has a lift. Air conditioning was good.
There was no instruction about entering the property with the door buzzer. No signpost outside, it is hard to find from the street. No reception or proper welcome on arrival. We stood in the courtyard in the midday sun for 10 mins before a staff member came down to greet us and show us our room. Poor communication between staff and ourselves - we had to figure most things out for ourselves - ie where the breakfast room was. Fridge had mold inside. Hot water was unreliable; we had to have a couple of cold showers, and the water ran boiling hot then freezing cold. Shower cubicle is tiny. I am 5 foot 6, and couldn't reach down to pick up the shower gel without hitting my arm off the small cubicle. Toilet roll holder was loose and fell off every time you tore a piece of paper off. Toilet seat was loose also and moved when you sat on it, trapping your skin in the gap. Wardrobe had 6 hangers in, not enough for 2 people. Wi-fi was unreliable. Breakfast choices were very poor. Only pastries and yoghurts, no real cereal choices, or toast, or cooked foods. We only ate breakfast once in our stay when we realised the limited choices. Walls also very thin - hear noise from the corridors at night.
We stayed 3 days at BB Giovy. The staff is very kind and helpful. They are enjoyable people. The room was clean and quiet. If you want to walk through the streets of Rome's center, this is a very good choice. Termini station is just 5 minutes away. Its location helps a lot for moving around.Everything was fine.
The breakfast room was a little small, but I have to say that this is not a serious problem.
Excellent location, just two minutes walk from Termini station. All of the main sites in Rome are in 30 minutes walking distance and metro station from which trains go directly to Vatican is behind the corner.
We had 2 rooms on 5th floor. One was just OK, other was very unsatisfying, with extremely small bathroom and semi functional toilet, which was somehow connected with shower sink (don't want to describe disgusting details;) Breakfast was very basic, just coffee and sweets.
Friendly staff, excellent location and good value for money.
Friendliness of Host - very welcoming
The hosts are wonderful people who are very helpful and they really made us feel at home!
The room was comfortable, the service was excellent and the location could not be better. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
As others mentioned, the overly sweet options for breakfast were disappointing but we found this at both hotels while in Italy.
about hotel-liked very much the reception service, the patrone was very effective and aimable.
Friendliness of staff and helpfulness .close to transport to explore the city .
Rooms were clean, elevator was nice since our room was on the 3rd floor (4th floor anyone in North America). Close to the Termini Station which is also a huge bonus.
Room was a bit small but expected. Breakfast was nothing special, lots of sweet stuff but that seems to be normal in Italy.
- Good location - Welcoming staff Overall, we were all satisfied.
Overall it was good, but I'd add hangers to the bathroom, as it wasn't really convenient without them.
Excellent host. Very clean. Very friendly staffs. Good break fast.
Location and very good staff
Rooms very small, if someone at desk in room 22 I had to swing over the bed to get to tiny crampted bathroom. no shelf or space for washer bag etc in bathroom.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were sufficient, although small they had tea and coffee facilities. The hotel was located within 3 minutes walk from the main station.
The breakfast consisted almost solely of cakes, there were some pre-made sandwhiches (none of which were vegetarian) and the bread was quite dry. It was good cake though.
