There is free parking and free Wi-Fi in rooms. Girosa's rooms have many of their original features and were home to Franciscan nuns in the 17th century. Elegant and spacious, they all feature air conditioning and private bathrooms. Some also have a small kitchenette. Breakfast is both sweet and savory, with a selection of organic food. It includes cheese and cold cuts, as well as homemade bread and marmalade. All of Caltagirone's churches, monuments and museums are just a short walk from Girosa, set in the city's main street. The train and bus station and Gravina Hospital are all 5 minutes away. Girosa's staff can organize guided tours of Caltagirone, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and book taxis for you. Fantastic location only a few minutes walk from all the main sights room was big and comfortable owners very helpful Perhaps the breakfast could have more variety

The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast contains many local and family made products (the best peach preserves I have ever had in my life, as a matter of fact). The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Caltagirone is a wonderful hilltown and if you can make it there I doubt there is a better place to stay than Girosa. And if you plan on making Caltagirone just a day trip or just to see the stairs, I'd say stay at least one night so you can watch the sunset and see the town at night.

Ottimo ed accogliente b&b in pieno centro storico (a 2 min a piedi dalla famosa scalinata S.Maria del Monte). Ampia possibilità di parcheggio nelle vicinanze (a differenza invece di altre strutture della città che sono difficilmente raggiungibili con l'auto), l'ideale per chi desidera visitare la città ma teme di non saper dove lasciare la macchina. Camere pulitissime, tutte al piano terra (niente scalini o barriere architettoniche quindi) e ristrutturate di recente, bagni nuovi e impeccabili. Il personale della struttura è molto cordiale, informatissimo sulla città e sempre presente 24/7. Squisita colazione con prodotti biologici della tradizione siciliana. Copertura wi-fi. Ottima la posizione del b&b Girosa anche per chi deve recarsi presso l'ospedale Gravina, a soli 5 minuti di macchina. Posto molto carino che consiglio a tutte le coppie / piccoli gruppi che desiderano visitare Caltagirone.

Ho scelto la struttura inizialmente per le possibilità di parcheggio, visto che molte strutture recettive sono situate proprio nei pressi della scalinata di Santa Maria del Monte, zona in cui è quasi impossibile posteggiare. Giunto sul posto (2 minuti a piedi dal centro) , sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito dall'accoglienza della proprietaria, Giuliana, che risiede nella stessa struttura ed è operativa h24. Le stanze sono nuovissime e funzionali e maniacalmente pulite. La colazione squisita, ma soprattutto biologica.Difficilmente ho riscontrato queste caratteristiche in altri Hotels. La consiglio vivamente.

E' posto in una posizione comoda per raggiungere a piedi il centro della città. La signora Giuliana, disponibile e molto accogliente, ci ha messo subito a nostro agio. L'ambiente è molto accogliente e rilassante. Le camere sono comode, pulitissime e riscaldate. Raccomandato vivamente anche per il rapporto qualità-prezzo.
