Hotel San Valentino is a 2-minute walk from Lepanto Metro Station, on the same line of the Spanish Steps and Roma Termini Train Station.
Score from 871 reviews Very good
On the right bank of Rome's Tiber River, Hotel Sant'Angelo is in a historic building, just half a mile from the Spanish Steps. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with private bathrooms.
Score from 1550 reviews Very good
Just 320 yards from Roma Termini Train Station, Hotel Impero features a furnished terrace overlooking Rome’s rooftops and the nearby Opera Theatre. A varied buffet breakfast is served daily.
Score from 1893 reviews Good
Just a 2-minute walk from Ottaviano Metro Station, Blanco Vaticano is 550 metres from Saint Peter's Square.
Score from 72 reviews Excellent
Excellent positon. All Vatican is within a wlking distance. Subway station is not so far also. 20-25 minutes of relaxed walking to the Piaza Navona and Piazza di Fiori areas. Very clean room with good daily service. Comfortable temperature inside. No any problems with water or operation of an appiances. Very good value gor the money.
Moderate breakfast but it is very common for many Italian hotels.
Helpful staff, great location
Room on the photos was complitely different from reality. Supposed to be a delux double room and we hardly could fit our languages in there
The location, close to the Vatican and shopping areas
My room for one person was VERY small and not in a great state
Excellent location close to Metro and Vatican. Good value for money considering location.
My room was very small. However, my colleagues' rooms were reasonably sized; double check room size before you book. I slept well so I didn't complain! ;-)
Very friendly staff, the good enough location, clean.
It is a family business and if there is no daughter at the reception, her mother could not solve any issue. The rooms do not have a kettle and you can't have tea or coffee at evening. There no were chairs and on a very small table you can fit a one sandwich only. Refrigerator shines, but doesn't cool. When we entered there was no safe at the room and one of ightbulbs was flashing. The staff simple twisted it off and replaced with a good one next day only. Next day when we received a safe it didn't work. There wasn't a battery. Next day we received a battery. So, all issue had been solved, but why you should spend your vacation to watch how them solve?
The bed was too short even for a medium height woman. There was many repairs that needed to be attended to including the front door lock for evenings.
Hot water system broken down in the beginning of our stay
No hot water for the 3 days we were there, they were having someone to look at it but who knows when. Mini bar was empty and fridge seemed to make things hotter! The 'executive double' was very small.
Great location near to the Vatican and the metro station. Rooms were very clean and great wifi. Croissant and coffee served for breakfast. Staff were very friendly.
We had a nice twin room. One bed was fine. The other bed could do with a new mattress.
Location... Perfect as home point to visit the different sites at Rome Value for money
Friendly staff, clean, location, feels like home
- not far from metro station - Nice price - Nice bathroom - Clean rooms
- a bit far from the center of Rome and Vatican (15 mn walking) - Poor Breakfast
Location was a short walk from the Vatican and easily walkable to other sites, metro close by also gives easy access to the city Really safe area walked back around midnight most nights felt very safe.
Slightly noisey from the street noise but nothing major.
The room was elegantly decorated, and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good.
The staff could improve their English.
Very nice hotel right in the Rome centre with near parking and easy accessibility . Very friendly and helpful personnel. Nice equipped room.
Same Croissant and coffee for breakfast everyday. Next day we decided to have breakfast outside of the hotel. Bit noisy in the morning when breakfast was served mainly due to coffee machined placed on the opposite site of our room.
The rooms were good, good comofrtable bed and the basic needs
The water wasnt always warm, the place is like an apartment building but the rooms are good
location cosy modern friendly staff
very simple breakfast
Location. Bed was large and comfortable
Wifi was intermittently slow
The hotel is perfect for someone on a budget. It is clean and in a great location (nearest metro stop is 5 minute walk and Vatican City a 10 minute walk). The staff is very friendly particularly Fabrizio who was at the reception when we arrived. He gave us a map of Rome (which was extremely useful for finding our way around) and explained to us the main places to see. The breakfast was also decent, wifi worked perfectly and they let us keep our luggage after check out.
I really don't have anything bad to say about the hotel. Would stay there again if I go to Rome.
LOCATION. QUIET, CLEAN ROOMS. SAFE NEIGHBOURHOOD. FRIENDLY STAFF.
the location is nice and the stuff is helpful
little bit noisy .. and you can hear everything around .the sound go through the walls very easy .
Good Wi-Fi. Good neighborhood. A/C
Small room and tinny shower. The shower water is weak and the temperature is impossible to control. Very basic and limited breakfast.
The hotel is so quite and closer to most pupler place in Rome there is a lot of shops around the area also good transpiration connections Stuff are friends the rooms are nice and clean for hotel of 3 star is fair enough
Good location, WiFi
very small room, no isolation, you can hear all the noises from the neighbour room. Very poor breakfast. Too expensive for the quality you get.
Location was good and the room looked nice.
The temperature of the shower was inconsistent and would fluctuate between scalding hot and freezing cold. The rooms are all on the first floor. Our room was facing the street and was noisy late into the night and early in the mornings. Breakfast was only a croissant and plain cereal.
