Close to train station
It was clean and the staff was helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Loved the fresco on the ceiling. The hotel was by the train station, which is what we wanted. The inside is better than the outside.
Breakfast was weak.
Very helpful staff
Perfect position between train and port Lovely breakfast Beautiful old building and lovely rooms Staff kept bags for whole day after checkout while we waited to sail out in evening
The signora at the desk was very friendly and helpful. She helped us find a close parking spot on the street, but parking could be hard since this is the city and the hotel is located on a busy street. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was modern and adequate. This hotel is a short (5 min) walk from a nice pedestrian shopping street that leads directly into the old town. The hotel was fine for a night, but I don't think I would stay there any longer. We did appreciate the air conditioner as we could shut the balcony door to the noisy street and keep out mosquitos, but we met another couple who did not have A/C and they had trouble with mosquitos.
Very busy street. Breakfast is very basic and served with Styrofoam bowls and plates.
The hotel was really good, rooks were spacious and clean. Located close to the train station and 10 minutes walk from the old town. In august the big underground parking next to the hotel is free of charge:)
Maybe the hotel was too close to the train station, and the area was a little bit dodgy.
Just spent 1 night here after 16hr ferry ride. 5 minutes maximum to train station which was awesome for 7am train. When booking in only the cleaner, I'm guessing, was there and she didn't speak much to any English but we got there in the end. When talking to the owner about checking out early his asked if we wanted a packed breakfast as we were leaving at 6 30, very nice and unexpected.
Bed was a little uncomfortable and noise was a little annoying but still got to sleep pretty quick so can't have been to bad
Close to the railway station. Very helpful and friendly staff Excellent Wi-Fi. Our room was a triple room with a balcony which we loved. We shopped at a supermarket 40 meters from the hotel. In the afternoon we had a couple hours of sun at the balcony where we enjoyed cheese, ham, fresh bread, lovely tomatoes and red wine. Other guests have written about noise from the street, but in our room this was not a problem.
Breakfast consists mostly of sweets, coffee and yoghurt. No fresh bread or eggs. There are few decent restaurants in Bari.
The room was very spacious and clean. The staff at the reception was very helpful and gave us good advises. The central station is very close and it's within 5 min walk from the hotel. During the day, there is no receptionist and only what seemed to be the cleaning lady present at the hotel. But she was also very friendly and helpful to assist us so we have no complains at all! We highly recommend this hotel.
It is very close to the train station of Bari and 15 minutes walking distance from old town. The lady that manages the hotel is extremely kind and helpful and although she does not speak English, she tries to explain herself slowly in italian.
The bathroom was tiny (really tiny) although the room was very big. It is a 2-star hostel rather than an hotel.
The room was very clean and it had a very nice ceiling. You can see it in the pictures. The location was great, it's very close to railway station (about 2 minutes). The breakfast was ok, it includes some bakery, butter and tea/coffee.
The room is located exactly on the main street and it's very noisy, especially in the working days. Unfortunatelly, that nice ceiling has a amplification effect of the street noise and actually you can hear from the room what people talk on the street. What it's nice, is that only one or two rooms have this problem, the others are very ok.
The location was close to the railway station and this is where we wanted to be.
The hotel was fine but Bari desperately needs some decent restaurants. All the street side restaurants were Pizza only. Very difficult to find good restaurant.
Nice room in a great location for a good price.
There was a lot of traffic noise very early in the mornings which is impossible to sleep through. Proberly not the best place if your not a morning person.
Central position - Near train station and not far from old City centre. Comfortable bed. Large air-conditioned room with balcony. Helpful staff. Good Wi-Fi connection in public area.
Poor breakfast - Could be improved by just adding fresh bread. Could provide more toiletries.
Nice friendly staff
Very noisey street
Not far from old town. Subterrain parking near the hotel (15e per 24hours).
Rooms look in the busy street and old windows don't provide noise insulation at all. So you couldn't sleep all night along - usual italian city traffic at first, after that noisy garbage collectors, unloading trucks, whatever (not one, but quite a few, one after another with small pauses!).
Nice warm welcoming atmoshpere
Shower rose did not spray well and the floor managed to be completely wet after showering
Convenient location very near the railway station, shopping and centro storico. Lovely balcony and windows with shutters. Terrace at the back for sitting out.
The street was noisy with traffic, even with double glazed windows closed.
- good location - friendly staff - good bed and big room
- very noisy - breakfast served only to 9.00 and very poor. No fresh bread, only wrapped toast. The worst I ever had.
Location was good. Walking distance to Old Town and City Centre. Very helpfull and friendly staff!!!! Well priced for the area. Spacious family room.
Breakfast was a bit on the small side.
Warm, accommodating staff, comfortable and spacious room and a fantastic location make Hotel Giuliani a great place to stay in Bari, particularly if access to the train and bus network is important.
Cost was slightly on the high side for February in Italy, but Bari doesn't have a large hotel room inventory for its size, so it is understandable.
We stayed only two nights. Good value for money.
Traffic noise since our room was on the main road.
I stayed for 1 night to catch an early flight the next day. Hotel set in the centre of town.it is a short walk to the station, old town and the shops. The owner is very friendly and helpful. For a short stay I would recommend this hotel.
This hotel was so very central, in the heart of everything. 5 minutes walk from station. We loved it. Stayed 3 nights. Close to everything. The room was not large but quite big enough. It was very Venetian. The owner did our washing for us. I asked where the nearest laundromat was and she offered to help us. This is a family business and if you are looking for budged accommodation and friendly people I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel. I love Venice and if I am lucky enough to go back again I would book this hotel.
Very convenient location friendly
