Wonderful, helpful, and friendly staff! Old-world feel with all of the upgraded amenities you would pay for in expensive hotels (internet, breakfast, etc). This was the warmest reception we encountered in Rome, as they even sent directions and info about the area before our arrival, which is especially helpful when you have never been there before. Location is central to many great sites, the Termini station, and great shopping! Room & bath were bigger than all others seen in Rome. Yes, hotel is actually on second floor (commonly called the 1st floor in Rome) but they have a lift (another great plus compared to other hotels). The only thing was a little traffic noise, but that comes with being in a central location in the city. |

Antonio was extremely helpful and went out of his way to assist in any way possible. The atmosphere was always very friendly and 'family' orientated. Our room faced the busy street and car noise was impeding being able to sleep at night. |

I stayed at the Hotel Giuliana for over a week and couldn't have been happier with my choice. Couldn't imagine a better location. Nice neighborhood, near the major sights, but still only a 10 minute walk from Roma Termini station. Smallish, but neat, newly renovated rooms. But what makes Hotel Giuliana special is its staff. Incredibly warmhearted and helpful. And from the lady who cleans your rooms to the man who serves you cappuccino for breakfast, they all speak good English. (Other budget hotels in the vicinity of the station are not nearly as tourist oriented.) Toni and Marianna take a genuine interest in their guests, and they likely will be among the best memories that you take home with you from your trip to Italy. |

Family run 10 room hotel. Comfortable and clean. The family and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel is on the second floor of a very old building with a small lift. Contiental breakfast is modest but satisfactory. It is ideally located in walking distance to Colosseum and other tourist attractions. We were satisfied with the service and the accommodations. We chose the hotel for the price and the location. |

Convenient location for train travel Lack of airconditioner was only mentioned once booking had been confirmed. Fan was provided, however the traffic noise was very loud as it was necessary to keep windows open. Price seems high compared to other similar places I stayed in during my trip, especially considering air conditioning. |

Fantastic location, great service and good value rooms. Go to the restaurant that the lady at the front desk recommends. The food is great and it is not expensive for Rome. The bonus is that it is just across the road. |

the location was excellent. Staff were pleasant and breakfast was reasonable. In Room 10, there was a septic smell coming from the bathroom that, despite the staff trying, they could not seem to get rid of. |

Our whole stay was positive. We were treated very kindly, respectfully by everyone at the hotel, and all of our needs and questions were met immediately and completely. The whole staff spoke English well, was very friendly and helpful and we knew they enjoyed their jobs. The room was comfortable, quiet, and the AC worked well. The breakfast was adequate and coffee was great! We loved the location, close to the bus terminal and bus connections as well as within easy walking distance of shopping and many of the sights. There was even an open market a half a block away, and a fountain with cold, fresh water, so important for hot days! Since we walked from the bus terminal, I checked on Google Earth, the street view, to find it and that helped. |

Jean and all her staff were wonderful and made my husband and I very welcome.Jean will direct you to the nice restaurants, and give you lots of tips and information about Roma. Rooms spotlessly clean, don't be put off by the outside of the building. Would definately recommend and return again. |

We liked the central location, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to assist us with our every need. The front desk was staffed 24/7. We also appreciated the insular windows that kept out street noise and the air conditioning. |

The hotel is typically located above the uninspiring ground floor entrance area and is pleasant with a small reception and breakfast area near the lift. Our room was comfortable, a reasonable size and looked onto the street. The double glazing is essential for noise-proofing. The staff were all welcoming and helpful and, I observed, were very polite when faced with the occasional impatient... |

Clean and comfortable. English speaking staff were very friendly and helpful. Walking distance from Termini and Metro and many historic sights. Market close by, which was quite noisy whilst setting up at 6.00a.m. Only bedrooms on side of hotel would be affected. |
