One of the highlights of the luxurious Atlante Star Hotel has to be its rooftop restaurant where you can enjoy spectacular views of St. Peter’s Basilica while you eat.
Score from 508 reviews Good
Close to Rome's Tiber River, Visconti Palace Hotel features designer rooms and is just a 2-minute walk from Castel Sant’Angelo. The restaurant with rooftop terrace overlooks the historic center.
Score from 1778 reviews Very good
Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo features a panoramic roof terrace with views of Rome. In the lively Esquilino area, it is only 215 yards from Roma Termini Train Station.
Score from 1143 reviews Good
In a 19th-century building, the Quirinale is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. This historic hotel is connected to Rome Opera House through a passageway in its leafy courtyard.
Score from 4225 reviews Very good
bathroom is too small, little noisy.
convenient palce near to subway Line A lepanto station, nice breakfast.
I stayed in Marriot for two days and decided it was not for me. At a price lower then the Marriot I picked this one after reading the reviews. Excellent hotel. For people who are used to more modern hotels the inside looks more antique. But the facilities are very good. The bathrooms have all the modern facilities. Neat and Clean. Out of the 6 hotels I stayed in the trip the soap and shampoo of this hotel is the best. Room service was also very good. This is a family run hotel and hotel owner himself is seen talking to the guests and taking feedback. Don't forget to taste the honey. It is from his farm. The best part is the breakfast. Fresh and very good. Cappuccino is served right at your breakfast table. Overall great hotel. If you are visiting Rome and would like to see the places in Rome this the hotel you should stay. I would definitely stay in this hotel if I visit Rome again.
No service in bar( I like a cup of tea) until after 5 pm. Very bad hair dryer, No access to roof terrace with a beautiful view of Rome .
Nice lounge,Nice small garden, hotel in general well furnished, and with a friendly barman. Italian newspapers.Very acceptable room with balcony. Very clean.good neighbourhood (Prati) . Quiet street only10 min walk across a bridge to Piazza del Popolo
Very expensive drinks in the bar
Decor Age of building
The stuff was friendly and English spoken.
Nothing at all.
Cosy and very pleasant hotel. Unexpectedly superb breakfast.
Hot room, rude staff
Old world charm, solid friendly service and an extensive breakfast buffet. Car parking facility
Good breakfast - nice bathroom - Staff very helpful with any sort of request - also a good walking distance to all of the main sights.
My first night my room and sheets smelled of smoke but the next night they had been changed and no issue.
The heated towel rack, the tub, the lights plenty of them. The best part is as an American I did not need to use my electrical outlet adapter.
We were put into a room on the ground floor. You can't control the heat, and it was so cold at night that we had to ask the front desk to turn up the heat. They did but the noise was really loud I had a hard time going to sleep. The wifi signal is really really poor. Cellphones can never connect. Only laptops can barely get the slow connection.
The staff are nice and helpful
Net connection is poor , tv Chanel's are limited
Close to vatican and shoping area Close to Many restaurant , quite place , friendly stuff
everything. this is not a 4 star hotel, and should not be published as such. froze to death as no heating was working in winter!
to escape after one night
The room (was an "economic" room) had a terrible old fashioned bathroom and forniture, with a very small closet. Not enought for a 4 stars hotel!!! The price/quality rate for this kind of room is inadequate (if you do not find a specific offer with a discounted price). The hotel has only 6 parking slots, so call the reception before reaching the hotel for availability.
The hotel is in a very good position, just a walk to Piazza del Popolo and around 1 km far from St. Peter and the Vatican. Very close to the A subway line. The staff is really kind and the hotel offers a good bar service and fantastic breakfast.
When u have a shower bath, the water can fall to the floor through the edges of the bathroom. Thus u may have a wet floor.
The carpet on the floor. Very delicious breakfast. Also: The balcony. The big safe. Polite personnel.
Hotel owner Comendattori Vincenzo Pandolfi and wife are visiting every morning every breakfast table personally, lovely and caring couple. The hotel is fascinating, if you love old and good taken care of places this is the right spot. I strongly recommend this place.
Even if Rome has become more and more expensive this 3 star hotel is too expensive (it claims 4 star but room seize, plastic 'glasses', breakfasts etc. is nothing more than 3).
Quiet neighborhood but a little far away from the old town.
*Clean, no smell *nice room *quite fancy *good breakfast included *free parking available (but not guaranteed) *nice area
A pity not to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. Daily change of towels and bedlinen is super-luxurious but not very green - perhaps guests could be given the choice.
Having had a bad experience elsewhere, this hotel saved our holiday. We got a last-minute deal of £117 per night for 4 nights for a Superior Double and including breakfast and tourist tax. The lounge, bar and garden are all lovely. Even on the road and on 4th floor we slept well and the breakfasts are memorably good - do not expect this in every establishment like this. Transport links are good (Metro, Buses 30 and 70) and good eating in Spaccio Pasta on Via Cola di Rienzo (3 minutes). The airport transfer offer is excellent.
Wifi connection is terrible. Our room was at the additional building and it was smelling terrible.
Breakfast was ok. Staff was good.
Coridor too narrow. The double bed is not really a double bed, it is 2 single bed put together.
The bathroom.free parking.metro within walking distance.room isbig enough for 3 adult and 1 baby
better than average shower and blow dryer for an older facility.
Beds could be more comfortable. (Are quite old)
