Excellent B&B! Very nice room, good breakfast and great location in the centre of Catania. The host was very helpful with practical information about the city. Navigation system could not find the street (not accessible by car). Driving directions should mention street "Via Auteri". Difficult to find parking space (but host waited outside for us upon arrival).

Cheap room, simple but fair breakfast, small but nice room. Main house is okay, but the also bookable appartements around are not recommended (not very clean, small uncomfortably bed etc.)

- Location is great, very near to fish market and piazza duomo - free public parking was available during our stay - good breakfast on big shared table - no daylight in our appartment - expected a room and got an appartment with kitchen - poor bath room (shower curtain, towels, soap)

The location was just excellent, also I was asked to choose if I wanted a double bed room or a flat and it just for £30 per night. Staff was so friendly and breakfast superb with fresh good quality bread, butter, biscuits, marmalade, and cured meat!

Extraordinarily friendly, helpful and flexible staff. Nice and clean room. In particular if you like sweets, you will enjoy the buffet breakfast (I would only miss some fruits or vegetables, but they seems to be uncommon for breakfast in that area and there is an amazing market around the corner anyway). Breakfast is served on a big table which encourages you to start talking to other guests and make new friends. It is very close to city highlights (Duomo square, fish market), yet hidden from the crowd of tourists and still within a walking distance to the main bus & train station.

Really friendly and helpful staff, Laura and Sophie both excellent. Located well for historical Catania. Good atmosphere over breakfast. Triple room a bit small for three, but not a real problem. Not easy to find - best to get to the castle and ask from there.

What I liked best about this B&B was the location. It is just down the street in front of the Piazza Duomo and the fish market with shopping close by. In a word---right in the middle of everything. Sophia was the hostess the day we checked in and was a real sweetie. She knew that we we're leaving very early the next morning before the complimentary breakfast was served. She was thoughtful enough to bring us food to eat before she left for the day so we could have something to eat before we left. Mille grazie, Sophia. The only thing I would warn those thinking to stay at Globtrotter is that it's very difficult to find the tiny "street" it's on. I would call it an alleyway. But if you can find the Piazza Duomo with it's black elephant, then know that you're very, very close.
